The Croque Madame was cooked to perfection with plenty of ham, perfectly melted Gruyère, and the truffle pomme frites were absolutely delicious. We also tried the croissant breakfast sandwich, which was buttery, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Overall, every dish was outstanding, and the portions were generous enough to share. Cute place! It was grilled thoroughly and still kept its shape. You can tell they put a lot of attention to their dishes because I only mostly came back here for the salmon and it was even better than the first time I had it, in fact even more delicious! The gnocchi ricotta was also delicious. Soft, pillowy, and just melts in your mouth after biting into it. My husband enjoyed his pasta, which they added mushrooms to because he doesn't eat meat. At the end of the night, I had them surprise my husband with a cake and they added a candle to it so that we may commemorate our 2 years. Honestly this place is great and the food speaks for itself. So, if you're up to trying traditional yerba mate, be aware that you'll get a gradual burst of energy a little later. I personally loved the decor and the atmosphere here. I have been to over 100 coffee shops in our area so far and I will say, that I absolutely loved this coffee shop, and I would rate it in the top three of my favorites! Today I tried a hot London fog with oat milk and it was perfect. I also had a gluten-free blueberry muffin, which was also good. My husband joined me a little while later and he had two of their chorizo burritos which were large and very tasty as well as the salsa that goes along with them. He had a black tea with raspberry syrup and he said that was very good as well. The service was excellent, and they were very nice and friendly to every person that came in and it was quite obvious that there were many regulars. Even though this was my first time I felt like I had been a regular. The ambience is one of the best things about it because it is peaceful, friendly, relaxing, and combined with the excellent service it makes you want to linger and come back immediately. It is located in the small town of Turner, and it has that small town, friendly vibe. My father was a long time resident of Turner so I'm familiar with the area. It has a lovely patio in the back that is peaceful and filled with bird song. They have the burritos available for Saturday and Sunday, from what the sign says. I very narrowly avoided the need to talk her out of bringing home another cat as the feline she wanted was a permanent resident of the cafe. I can say that aren't a TON of options for those that aren't coffee drinkers. So, people like me will have limited options, but I still had a good time seeing how much she enjoyed it.
