Climbing structure, foam pit, and zip line
Liz B.

We've been coming to Emerald City for a few years now. My kids have taken part in their rock climbing and gymnastics classes. We've always been very pleased with their classes and staff. The beginner classes are laid back and the kids have a blast. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to try out a new sport! Our favorite part of Emerald City is their open play times. Even if you don't attend classes at the gym you can come to open play times. They are usually on the weekends and on "no school" days. Open play is for kids ages 4-12, but they offer a toddler and parent version during the week as well. It's about $12 per kid to play for 2 hours, but it's worth it. The kids have full use of the gym's climbing and play structures. There's a zip line, foam pit, rope swing, slides, trampolines, etc. The kids aren't allowed on the gymnastics equipment or the rock climbing wall, but there is enough stuff to keep them busy otherwise. Parents are not allowed on the floor during open play, but they have bleachers to sit on that overlook the gym floor. Staff members are on the floor supervising the kids. To find out about open play times you can check their website or follow them on Facebook. They are good about keeping both up to date with current schedules.

Racist. Staff doesn't care to address my concerns between my child and their instructor. Dropped the class!!

Monster Mountain: fantastic staff, great routes, really strong sense of community. Prices are reasonable. Finger/hand strength training.

Their website is so easy to use and has a lot of information. I did need to call the office for additional information and they were extremely friendly. I felt prices were spot on with other locations around us and the time slots are sure to meet anyone's needs. They do have waitlists but in talking with the staff, spots open fast as kids move to different levels. My daughter's birthday was last week and I thought it would be perfect to have her party there and get a feel for the place. Reserving the gym was easy. The price includes an hour in the gym with use of all equipment and thirty minutes in the party room. They put a white table cover down for you. You bring in whatever you would like and they do not have any extra charges for that. There is a staff member on the gym floor observing the kids but other than that they stay in the background. It truly felt like I was in my own home without the mess to clean up. It was flawless. Each child gets a goody bag with a free open gym coupon and $10 off their first month along with two suckers. I will add that my plan worked and my daughter is very eager to get signed up and has already planned her date with friends to go for open gym. Side note, this place has been around forever. They must be doing something right and I am confident if you feel otherwise they would do all they could to fix it.

I can only speak to our experience with a birthday party here, not for the actual gymnastics. We've been to a few parties hosted at similar places and it's always a free for all chaos fest, but not at Eagles Gymnastics. This employee did a terrific job clearly explaining rules to a group of 7-9 year olds. She also helped facilitate games such as tag and hide and seek and kept everything running smoothly. The facility was clean and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time.
