This place is a mob scene... I would love to go here more often with my son, but I cant afford to feed him there... It makes no sense... He is still al ittle too young to get it & cant do all the games yet, so Ill take advantage of that & not go that much till next year... Its just always a crazy place, partly in reason because the one in Dedham (closest one to Boston has closed - so now ALLLLLL of Boston has to come here) & ridiculously expensive for a pizza! But it is good pizza! Say Hello to the Police Detail at the door, if thats not a sign of whats to come as you enter, I dont know what to tell you!

Honestly as a parent I cant say "oh I love this place" however, my kiddos have a blast every time we go, and the prices are not terrible.

We were the only people in there and they still brought out chucky to say hi when the "chucky song" came over the speaker.

Though we enjoyed the one in New York too, this location minimized the sort of underwhelming initial areas and focuses much more on an open-concept space with multiple activities and building rooms. While my kids are too old for Duplo, it was really nice to see a strong focus on the larger blocks to involve younger kids in the experience. We enjoyed the laser maze activity, even though it was hardly a maze at all. It would have been nice if there was a staff person supervising the activity though - there seemed to be a great deal of confusion with how it was supposed to work. We figured it out largely by seeing others do it incorrectly. Otherwise everything was great - the kids loved the VR game, the building activities, and the impressive pre-built LEGO creations.

Theres arose that greets you with an interactive game for families to play together and compete, before you enter the actual space. Inside there are different themed stations, such as space and race cars for the kids to enjoy. Personally, I found the highlight was the recreation of the entire city of Boston's landmarks made out of Legos. The facility was very nice and clean however, the bathrooms were a mess, and I felt that there wasn't much variety in terms of activities for the kids to do because despite having different themes each room, pretty much the end result was the same, which was just to build something. There were alternative attractions, such as a private discovery room with creative classes, but they happen to be closed that day. I also thought it was pretty cool that you could watch the professional Lego builders work on their next creations. Overall, while it was a unique experience, the pricing left a lot to be desired. So make sure you get a coupon code ahead of time you go ahead. Our tickets should have been around $27 apiece and with the codes we paid around 17.

They even throw in some Pirate stories as well like Sam Bellamy & The Widdah. The crew is all dressed in Pirate attire so you really get the whole Pirate experience. We had Captain Mckinnon & Captain Mead. Both Kids & Adults will like this nautical adventure in the 7 Seas. They even let the kids help hoist the sails. This is Great to put on a future resume - Yup I helped sail a Pirate Ship. LOL! It gets chilly on the seas so bring an extra jacket. They also have Free Blankets they pass out if you're cold. There were so many slides and equipment for the kids to climb and slide and jump. While there were a lot of people and kids, it didn't feel out of control, most people there seemed to be attentive. The playground area was a artificial spongey turf and definitely makes it safer for the kids when they topple over. LOL There were benches under trees for parents/guardians to sit while safely observing the kids play. When the sun shifts, it gets really hot in the summer. Bring an umbrella for shade if you aren't able to find a seat under a tree. The bonus we hadn't expected - the water part of the park. The Kids loved it!!! We will definitely be back when we are in the area. The kids didn't want to leave...luckily we were close to the Boston Market Place Hall where they could get a cool drink and a treat - that was the only way we could get them to leave this fun park. LOL Highly recommend!

Usually this playground is for kids (not cops) and is complete with a rubbery soft ground. Some of the materials could be harsh, like lots of static coming from a metal slide and possible scrapes from the concrete. I found the area to be clean and safe. With City Hall directly in the center of Boston, this playground is walkable to all downtown staples from the North End to Boston Commons.
