    Birthday Party

Madilyn was our party host and she did a fantastic job! She made sure everyone had a great time and made my daughter feel special. She was on time for everything and helped serve the kids pizza and cut and served the cake. She made having a party there feel effortless! Also the manager tiara was very kind and helpful. First time having one of my kids party there and definitely will again!

We came here on Labor Day and it was busier than I imagined. But I do want to mention that the staff were great: There was a white lady with blonde hair & lashes that was very efficient and nice, helped us check in and get our game card ready. Then there was a younger African American girl with short hair who was very friendly and replaced my fork for the salad bar. Then another African American girl with long hair in a pony tail got help because the paper for one of the picture taking machine ran out. And another gentleman found me and gave me the photo that never came out because the paper was empty. Like for real, this place had great service! The place was nice and clean, some of the machines weren't working properly, but there was a gentleman fixing machines & even gave my daughter one free play, lol. I had a salad for 12.99$ but it was all you can eat so totally worth it. They do have cups for water which was great because I don't drink soda. There was also a trampoline area which was $10 extra comes with a wristband and socks. It's nice because they can jump all day especially after the 60 minutes of play I paid for.

    Extra large pizza.

The food was great! Good customer service. We came on a Wednesday so it was a chill day. Very little people. I forgot to ask for the person that helped us through everything but he was awesome!!!

My kids had an amazing time thanks to Chloe and Rebecca! My son just turned 4 and they kept everything super clean as messy as my party was. Super friendly and helpful. We're coming back just for them!

What do I think about this establishment???? It's over priced. It's understaffed. There were 2-3 young people running the place. No one stamping the families or groups in which used to be an added benefit to have your group connected together and the children would only be able to leave with the adult they came with but that security is gone. Anyway.... no coins, just purchase minutes. $40 for $90., $10 for the trampoline. No ball pit but why extra for the trampoline. $30 for 1 pizza. Then drinks etc. No ma'am.

Clean and newly remodeled I think. Great customer service and everyone is kind and friendly. We came on a Wednesday afternoon and it was empty. Will come back soon. My son and his friend had the time of their lives. Thank you Chucky Cheese staff

Stopped by here while on vacation as a means of entertaining the kids for a few hours. I've been to many locations but this one wasn't the cleanest. While first entering there was a strong Oder that's instantly hits you. Although I did see employees wiping down tables the floors had crumbs on it, machines had empty pizza plates and napkins and it just wasn't the usual cleanliness I'm used to. The service was okay, nothing extraordinary and nothing awful. Everything was mediocre. We didn't end up ordering food and just played games and left after two hours. Located in a shopping complex there is plenty of parking all around.

The manager, Melanie, was sitting on her phone while there were about 5 people in line waiting to be helped. We all stood in line for about 10 minutes, all the while she's still on her phone and looking up at the line, not offering any help. I walked over to a man busily down on his hands and knees working on fixing some of the machines and he kindly got up, stopped what he was doing to help everyone in line. He helped all of us waiting and Melanie hadn't budged. 20 minutes pass by and the manager remained on her phone and didn't help at all. Pretty poor behavior and service on the part of the manager. The man was friendly and patient despite receiving any help from the manager.

My 3 year old absolutely loves coming here!! The ambiance is perfect for kids. I love that they have a separate area with games for kids her age. She loves the game where she has to feed a dog plastic balls and also the Scooby doo mystery machine van game. Although the food can get a bit pricey, it's nice to have that option to order food. The food service is slow though so if you order food, do it in advance and play games while you wait for food.

With the incentive of receiving 2 plushies with a minimum game purchase amount, it alleviated the anxiety of walking away with nothing to show for my kids. The space was well lit and clean. Occasionally we managed to get 2 or 3 wins. As I mentioned earlier, you're guaranteed two plushies when you purchase a minimum game card amount, so that made the losses more manageable. Overall, it was a fun experience and I'd take my kiddos there again. At $80 per child for the most basic package on a weekend I expected a higher level of service. Throughout the party, I had to ask for everything. I had to request water pitchers, ask for a candle and lighter, and no one offered to help cut the cake. The staff didn't offer much help coordinating the event. I've had parties at Pump It Up, where the staff was much more attentive and proactive. I also had an unpleasant interaction with an employee (Scott?). The employee's old white car was parked in front of the facility, with its windows completely down and a cracked windshield, and its alarm went off. The employee came outside, WALKED ON THE HOOD OF HIS CAR to turn off the alarm, and then accused me of hitting his car. My husband and the five children in my car all confirmed that I didn't. After confronting me in the parking lot, he walked back into K1 while I followed behind. I found it very inappropriate for an employee to yell at a customer, especially as they were entering the business. The kids enjoyed themselves, but the overall customer service was not up to my expectations. When I book a party I like to be stress free, otherwise I would just host a party at my own house.

We were informed that adults are NOT allowed on the second story of the play structure and cannot accompany our child on the slides. Our 21 month old had to stay on the first floor the whole visit. She started getting upset that we wouldn't allow her to follow the other kids up to the slides. I asked an employee why we couldn't go down the slides with our daughter and she said per new ownership, they changed the rules. Except recent videos (as of today) on social media of people advertising this place show adults going down the slides. We also witnessed adults walking around the top floors with their kids and going down the slides. It seems that the rules aren't applicable to everyone. Tons of balls in the ball pit were deflated, the ball cannon shooters were not working and that's pretty much all there is to do if you stay on the ground floor. Older kids can play in the ball pit and it's simply way too small for that. My daughter was terrified of the older kids running and jumping into the pit around her. It was a rainy day outside and very crowded. I asked one of the floor workers if she could turn on the giant overhead fan to help move some air around since it was very muggy and warm and she said she had to ask the owner first. She even admitted she was getting hot as well. 20 minutes went by and it was never turned on. I guess it doesn't work? Not sure why you need to ask the owner for permission to turn on a fan. The layout could use a little rearranging. It's a cool concept, just not executed nearly as well as others with the same idea. For the price, $40-ish for two adults to accompany their toddler, it's absolutely not worth it. We won't be returning. Also keep in mind, if you order tickets and sign the waiver ahead of time, you'll still have to wait in line behind people who didn't. Just one person in front of us with one child took 15 minutes to buy their tickets and sign the waiver. Once we were checked in which took less than 5 minutes, the line was out the door. There are also no lockers to safely put your belongings in, just open cubby's.

Castro Valley hosts this mini golf spot that's an affiliate of the Golfland family and features its two 18-hole ranges perfect for beginners and experts alike. After a few rounds on the green, consider venturing into their arcades to play some good old fashioned video games (Time Crisis and other dual player shooters, Mario Kart and other racing games, and fighting games) and skill games (like skee ball, table air hockey, and claw machines). Be wary, however, for those who have game cards from other Golflands, they're location specific so they won't work here unless you have one from this spot. Starting from the giant parking lot which is just off of a busy street, you'll make your way through the gates and stroll up the long walkway to the front desk where you'll register to get your clubs and balls (you'll get your choice from among a few colors). From there, you'll have your pick of the two courses, one for novices and one for the more adventurous. Make your way through the obstacles and mark your scorecard to determine the winner of bragging rights! We came for a birthday party and logistically, they have the main room amongst the beginner course which is well lit from all the open windows but I believe they have another space near the arcade for those looking for a more enclosed, private gathering. Once the guests arrived, they hosted an orientation and got the members all equipped and ready to go. The youngsters had a lot of fun and can't wait to return! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. You'll interact with them more at the arcades especially if you'll be redeeming prizes with your hard-earned digital tickets. The ticket values on the top tier prizes were pretty large but for frequent visitors or lucky winners, you can get some pretty neat stuff here. The mini prizes definitely reminded me of my times at the arcades when I was a kid, very nostalgic! Overall, Golden Tee Golfland is a well-maintained, family friendly environment conducive to an awesome time outdoors as well as an exhilarating experience soaking up the old school arcade vibe. We accumulated a ton of steps during our visit here and the kids could not stop hitting the greens to get their fluorescently colored balls into the holes. The obstacles are fun - there are water effects and moving doors and bridges. While most of them functioned as expected, there were a few hiccups with some like balls getting stuck or certain doors just not functioning as expected. For wetter seasons, the holes for the balls do end up pooling which makes picking the balls out a bit of an unpleasant endeavor. For being exposed to the outdoors, the place was in pretty good shape, however. It's a bummer that the Golflands don't have a unified system for the game cards as it just incentivizes families to just pick one and stick with it instead of venturing out and exploring the other amazing locations like this one. If you're a local, this is a great place to take a date or the family - it'll tee you up for a good time!

The Basic Play membership is limited at $36.99 and offers 50% off GLOW (vs free as Extra Play). GLOW is a BIG DEAL to our daughter so that's a must have for us to have included. GLOW, at this location, does not begin until 8 PM.With so many other kids playing, our daughter bounced between kids to play with and enjoyed a couple longer than others. At 9:15, majority of the kids our daughter was playing with were gone. With the drastic decline in playmates and the closure of one zone it dampened her spirits. The late start of GLOW will likely be our greatest reason for not becoming members. We tried it on a Saturday this time. We will try again on a Friday to see if there is any difference in play and length of attendance. Overall, such a great experience with updated, modernized play spaces for big and little kids alike.

A Chaotic and Concerning Experience -- Not the Birthday Celebration We Expected…read more I attended my great nephew's birthday party at Sky Zone yesterday, and unfortunately, this was one of the most poorly managed children's party venues I've experienced. My children are now young adults, so it has been a long time since I've been to a place like this--but even with that in mind, the disorganization was shocking. My niece had reserved a party room for 3:00 PM. The day before, she was told the reservation had been moved to 3:30 PM. When we arrived at 3:30, staff informed us that the room wouldn't be available until 4:00 PM. Even then, nearly an hour later, there was still no indication the prior group would be cleared out. To make matters worse, several other rooms sat empty, yet staff refused to open any of them for our group. The entire facility felt chaotic, overcrowded, and understaffed. What concerned me most was the complete lack of security protocols. There were multiple entrances and exits with no employees monitoring who came in or out. Adults were not checked in or connected to a child, which is extremely unsettling for a venue filled with minors. At similar venues we visited when our own children were young, adults had to be verified at the entrance, and children were not allowed to leave without a designated adult. None of that existed here. Cleanliness was another major issue. My husband reported that the men's restroom was in such poor condition that boys were missing the too-tall urinals and urinating on the floor--while children were then running through that area in their Sky Zone‑issued socks before heading back to the play spaces. That alone is unacceptable. The women's restroom, thankfully, was clean and quiet, but it was the only part of the facility that felt remotely controlled. I will say that the kids had a wonderful time, and I'm grateful for that. But as a parent or guardian concerned about safety, organization, and basic cleanliness, I cannot recommend this venue. Sky Zone needs significant improvements before I would ever consider returning.

Light and airy shell with a tasty ahi mix insert. Could very well be the best fish taco I've had - it's not your traditional "here's some tuna and cabbage in a corn tortilla" taco and that's a great thing. It's unique and amazing. Our friends split a pizza and salad and raved about how perfect the pizza was. They wanted a crispy crust and got what they wanted. My wife ordered the stuffed mushroom appetizer in her crafty way to embellish her beef hamburger with bacon. She asked medium rare. She got medium rare. Very enjoyable. Our service was beyond great. It wasn't super busy and often the staff gets distracted when it's not busy - in this case our service was perfect. Da Boccery ambiance is obviously linked to all the entertainment that's there but the tables are nicely separated from the courts and simulators, and even during bocce or the simulator, there are comfortable couches and tables if you want to eat there - we did drinks there, then ate in the more "restaurant" area of the place. We will absolutely be going there just for the food and that says a lot.

Hayward is an underdog city - and this is such a unique space. If I was the mayor of Hayward I would shine a light on this place as I think its an important piece of the city. I live just 2 blocks away and have never gotten any note on my front door or advertisement or coupon. I think that is a shame. If I was head of marketing for this business I would place a flyer under every door mat in a 5 or 10 block radius. This is a missed opportunity for core customers. There are new high rise buildings also popping up - a huge senior building - why not a special flyer offering seniors discounts if they show up for an early bird dinner? Often times you can also tell if kids live in any given home in the neighborhood. There are kiddie pools, tiny shoes left out front, bikes thrown around in the front yard - these homes should be targeted even more aggressively with fliers and some sort of incentive to come in. Another huge problem with this place is the lack of emphasis on ease of 'searchability' of the place. I had lived so close since 2016 and had not known about the place until maybe 2020 during the pandemic. How is that possible? It's all about not knowing this is an arcade. Sector 19 doesn't mean anything to me. It should be called 'Sector 19 Arcade' so that people can find it with a Google or Waze search. The arcade is clean and bright and fun for little kids. Its a safe place too - where parents can hang outside more in the restaurant part and not worry they wandered off - there is only one way out. The arcade needs to be front and center - this is why people come. Pizza House or Susie Qs have no competition in this arena.... so lean in on this. I will say that a Susie Qs has an edge with food quality - so again, more reason to make the family friendly atmosphere the center of attention.
