I visited this KTR location using my GetOutPass, and after recently visiting the newer Mesa…read morelocation, the difference was pretty noticeable. The Mesa location has a lot more gym equipment, obstacles, and activities for younger kids, while this location feels much more like an open warehouse space with fewer things for little ones to do. The skate area is definitely larger here, but overall there wasn't as much to keep my 7- and 9-year-olds entertained. There were also a lot more older teens here, which made me uncomfortable letting my kids explore on their own. Even the 6-and-under area had bigger kids playing in it, and the main wheel zone was filled with older boys riding around pretty aggressively and balls just being thrown in different directions. The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness. We needed to use the restrooms as soon as we arrived, and they were very dirty--toilet paper was all over the floor and multiple toilets hadn't been flushed. The facility also felt worn down, and some of the equipment looked like it could use better maintenance. I'm glad I was able to visit using my GetOutPass, but I don't think I would pay admission to this location. I really wish the GetOutPass included the newer Mesa location instead, as it's a much better experience for younger kids. The teens all working at the place also are too busy talking and mingling with each other...

Since the older kids are back in school now, there is more space for the littles to run wild. (We grandparents got a workout too!) the staff is friendly and helpful. There is a snack bar and an area to rent scooters and helmets and you can even buy KTR merch. Restrooms are clean and there is a spot to refill water bottles. Consider purchasing the 10 punch pass too. Go and have fun!

The seats are big, comfortable recliners with attached trays that have cup holders and is big enough to set all your food on. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and wife did the sliders. Everything was fresh, seasoned, and cooked perfectly. I actually loved the chicken sandwich with it's crusty chicken breast that was juicy and delicious. Great experience overall.

They frequently checked in on my preferences beforehand and even asked how I wanted the room decorated, which they handled themselves. There are several different food options to choose from for parties but we went with pizza which was pretty good. Everything was very reasonably priced, including the alcoholic beverages, which were fun and delicious. The arcade games were all working and well maintained. They had a decent variety and definitely had all the classic games I like to play. The prize counter was also nice and I enjoyed the glow golf course. My younger nephews came to the party and enjoyed so this is definitely a fun venue for all ages. Above anything else, every single staff member made the experience so pleasant from the event coordinator (who personally was present to make sure everything was exactly as I wanted it) to the party host (who checked in on us regularly) to the bartender to the person at the prize counter. I felt like everyone truly wanted me to have a happy birthday and a great event. I would happily come here to hang out or have another event. I wasn't in the best of spirits, but once I got on the skating rink, my mood improved quickly! I love the feeling of skating and they were playing some old school pop, which I enjoyed. On Tuesday nights, it's 2 for $22 to skate, which includes rentals. They have specials all week long so check out their calendar. I'm definitely coming back for Thu adult skate night when I get a free day! I did check out their snack bar as I forgot my water bottle and was thirsty so I got a small soda, which was $3.75 (price is high), but it's free refills. I give this place 4 stars because they really could use a face-lift here, I mean its 2025 and I felt like I was back in the 80s or 90s here. Also, their wrist guards that they require you wear were pretty gross, that could use some improvement. This is a great way to get some exercise in and I had a great time here! I'll be back!

Love coming to Skateland Mesa…read more My wife and I have now been here for our niece's last two birthdays and one other time just to skate. Birthday parties are handled very well here. Our niece is getting more and more comfortable skating all of the time and has nearly graduated from using a helper. No shame in using it though as she knows she needs some assistance. Nowadays she will skate with it but then push it ahead of herself and skate to it. It is great to see kids to adults of all levels having fun out there on the rink. Slower skaters are encouraged to stay inside the oval in the middle of the floor so the more advanced can go around on the outer skating floor. You are reminded of the rules, but nothing is heavy-handed in any way. Good music and fun little games by the staff throughout the night. So glad they have my size - 15s in a skate. They also have rollerblades, but I am not a fan. Have to have four on the floor and spread out to stay upright. If you are in the area and looking for some fun that you may have not had in 30 or 40 years - go skating at Skateland Mesa. Plenty of theme nights for all and even some adults only skating nights. Highly recommend it for fun and a workout.

The weather was perfect but it would be a lot to eat in the car during the hot summer. I feel like there was a lot of variety of things to do for the age difference of my kids. My main issue was with the flooring of the entire park. I'd like to see them do something to make the sidewalk more comfortable for the 99% of people who are walking around barefoot. All of our feet hurt from walking around on the really hard concrete. I guess I'd recommend you wear water shoes if you have them. We used a Get Out Pass and the whole process was seamless. It's worth getting because just a trip to Sunsplash is pretty much the same price as a Get Out Pass and you get so much out of it. I don't know if I'd go again because the cost is pretty high.
