Could you hire a couple more people so they're not doing 3 jobs at once and can actually give good customer service? Conversely, the games are fun but since the arcade attendant also had to cash out game tickets and check people in and out, it took too long to get help if a game did malfunction or run out of tickets. The parking lot of this location is absolutely insane! There is additional parking in the back, but it's very inconvenient when you're carrying a toddler, a purse, a backpack, a gift and a birthday cake. I came here for my daughters second birthday. Their party packs are only for larger groups, which was very disappointing. My daughter is only two and her birthday is on a holiday so we just had a small gathering to celebrate her special day. The fact that she didn't have a bunch of friends come with us doesn't make her any less special than the large party next to us. I asked the clerk if there was anything would could do for her party. She told me that I could buy a couple balloons to tie to her chair... not exactly what I had in mind. The game floor was crowded and crazy! I'm not complaining about that, it's Chuck E Cheeses! I am complaining that all of the games were too big for my daughter. I didn't find anything that she could really participate in. Even the kids jungle gym was too big for her to play in. What happened to ball pits and mini skee ball??? My daughter still made the best of it and enjoyed running wild. The ticket prizes are also a bit of a rip off. It's 10 tickets to get one mini candy. Most of the kid games give one ticket. That means I'm paying about $2.50 for a 5 cent piece of candy. I think there should be separate tickets and prizes for the smaller kid games that don't really give out tickets. I'm glad my daughter enjoyed herself, but I wish it were geared more toward children like it used to be and less toward young adults. read more

I came today ordered exactly at 1:01pm. I waited one damn hour for a large pizza! By the time it was 1:45 I went and asked how long will the pizza take? The lady said that all pizzas take 45mins to about an hour. Are you kidding me? I could of been told this before purchasing the pizza. It's not the same as the good old days. Went here for a birthday party I was a guest at. They book many birthday parties at the same time and back to back. They have different packages I heard but mostly you like get 2-3hours. Chuckie looks different I miss the jolly looking one and all his friends. I miss the show the robotic chuckie and friends would put on now it's just a tv screen. It looks pretty crazy in there but kids seem to enjoy probably because they don't know any better. They really need to upgrade and do some changes as some things look like their fading or need a new paint job. They gave the mom of the birthday boy a hard-time on the bill and took forever to close it having her take time to deal with it out of her allotted time given. Your welcome to stay after your time is up but not seated in the party area which is most of the seating there. Doubt I'll come back more worth it to pay the extra and do something nice somewhere else, for us most likely at a museum. The only good note was that they had a change table in the bathroom and that did look new but looks kinda hidden against wall since there are no signs or stickers on it. Its been about 15 years since ive last been to Chuckie's, and its still a bit creepy and it kinda sucks...!!! Theres an electronic Chuckie on stage who still sings happy bday, and around walks a live chuckie with his security guard. Wait, what happened to the whole band? now its like a One Rat team. Kinda reminded me how Black Eyed Peas used to be pretty dope, but now its the Will.I.Am show, and how he cant walk anywhere without his little security guard Fergie. But whatever. All that matters is that the staff was cool. My godson Isley (BDay Boy) had an awesome time. Got a crap load of tickets, got sung happy bday too, along with a cake, and a cool chuckie cheese crown. I guess in most parts of the United States, it's odd to go to Chuck E Cheese for the first time when you are 25 years old. But, I grew up in Santa Monica and trips to Burbank and Torrance were few and far between. Plus, we had a Shakey's to fulfill all of our pizza and video game needs (and don't forget the mojo potatoes, but only because the name is so fun to say). RIP Shakey's. The pizza at CEC was surprisingly good and with little work online, you can get coupons for token/pizza/soda deals. The beer is pretty cheap too: a large Miller is $4. I must admit that I did feel slightly sketchy drinking a beer and playing skee ball next to toddlers. I agree with Davey G. The sketch machine is definitely the best bang for your token: it prints out a "sketch" (basically a really bad Xerox copy) of you and your friend. If you go later on in the evening, the kids have all pretty much gone home and you can have the run of the place until it closes at 10. --- Take Metro #94, 394, 183 or the Burbank Bus Airport/Emire line. read more

Sassy prayers for Chunk E Cheese...aka Chuck E Cheese. This was quite an adventure after pulling the idea from our date jar...First off, this location is adjacent to a worse for the wear Kmart, so you know you're in for a treat. Honestly, you're probably better off going to Kmart, grabbing a frozen pizza--you'll save a ton of money and a headache in the process. We ordered a medium pizza deal that included a medium one topping "pizza", a few tokens and two soft drink cups for nearly $30. We also decided to order a beer and wine as well as some "appetizers". After waiting for 15 minutes to get up to the counter it was our time to order! On a side note, they were unaware they even sold wine...we had to tell them this and another random employee had to confirm this. We were offered a choice of a "mer-lot" and a lot of other phonetically pronounced options, so naturally we picked the first out of just wanting to keep the line moving. With our order placed we headed to find a seat in anticipation of the star himself--Chuck E. Supposedly he rears his little (or big) rodent head from the kitchen every hour on the half hour...but our watches must have been broken for he did not show up. Being the weekend, there was a bit of a crowd, but no where near a big enough one for the amount of time we waited for our food. This was a blessing though as it gave us time to take it all in and watch the splendor of our surroundings. One big notice was the inconsistencies of the Chuck E. Cheese brand itself. The current incarnation of the mascot is a hopped up, jazercizing mouse of sorts--a far cry from the lovable pudgy crooked smiling rat of the 1980s. Chuck had some work done and it doesn't look good, but that's neither here nor there. Thankfully, our food arrived about 50+ minutes later--by this point we were pretty darn hungry from watching all the kids rolling around on the carpet screaming their heads off, so lunch was a welcome sight...almost. It's never fair to compare the menu photos to the actual product, but in this case it wasn't even close. The appetizer platter seriously had 10 French fries on it--we actually counted. That, plus a few reheated chicken wings, pizza crusts and a surprisingly fresh celery stalk (the least salty and most refreshing offering). Okay, game time now, right? Here. We. Go. Enter into the gauntlet of little sneezy minions running about an arcade of half broken games. One of the skeeball lanes didn't even have any balls to roll...this after paying credits to play. They do have an interesting photo booth of sorts though. It's a photo booth that attempts to "sketch" your likeness. And by likeness we mean what you might look like if a fax machine vomited your photo in low quality black and white. We managed to score a few tickets after a few hours time and decided to cut our losses by heading to the prize counter before handing over another $20. After waiting another 15 minutes to exchange our tickets for pennies on the dollar trinkets, we finally got our chance to shop a confusing storefront of items priced in dollars and ticket prices--but randomly with some items costing dollars and some tickets. Why would anyone expect things to be organized in a national chain operating for over 30 years, right? All in all, what an experience--one you can probably only endure once, so good luck to you. read more

I remember this place when I was a kid. Coming here now with my two daughters really brings back memories. However it's much better today than back then. The exit is secure so kids can't leave. It has a pretty good set-up for birthday parties. Try your best not to go on a weekend because you'll just be one of many. My sister decided to have my nephew's party the day before Halloween this year which was on a Saturday. At 5pm. He was just 1 out of 10 other kids there who were "special." The drinks, food, & set-up weren't even completely done until around 5:45. But the options they gave my sister were pretty good compared to throwing your own party. The front door is made out to be some sort of exclusive club with a bouncer, black lighting, hand stamps, velvet ropes, & all. I guess they're trying to get kids ready for when they get into the "Hollywood Scene." I don't know why you NEED to be 18 or over to enter on your own.. The pizza was alright, nothing special. Wow. Where to begin. During the covid outbreak I made a huge mistake of deciding to give chuckie cheese pizza and wings a try. First off, I got there and stood in the place for about 10 minutes before one of the employees helped me, even after ringing their bell. An employee saw me several times and ignored me. Finally an employee came up to help me. She gave me my order to go and acted like she was surprised anyone was even going there. I get home. The Pepsi is warm, no ice, and as flat as can be. Decided to bring my kids to this location instead of the Glendale location. Big mistake!! Employees are very young and not to polite. I ordered my food and took my seat. I waited 2 hours for a pizza and wings. When I walked to the counter to ask what was going on the guy told me he will check. I never saw him again. I waited another 10 minutes and the guy brings me classic wings when it clearly says on the recipe I ordered boneless. To top it off when my wife went to the restroom a female employee bumped into her smelling like she had been smoking weed in there. I was really shocked that she would do such a thing. Just had a party for my 5 year old, everything turned out great! Food was brought out at the time we agreed our hostess was great and we did have It on a Tuesday so we wouldn't be rushed.
