Its not the closest one to us but we choose it because they keep it very clean, chuck e comes over once every hour to dance and say hey (other locations dont follow this rule). Went to a birthday party for my grandson and I must say the whole party thing is different now and not as good. When I used to take my kids there it was much more organized. They got rid of the animatronics and now have this annoying kindergarten kid bop nonsense playing the entire time on a huge screen. Didn't like that. Party was from 3-5 and we sat there til almost 4 before the server even came over and said anything. It was just odd. Then at pre I sept 5 she comes over and starts moving everyone's stuff instead of saying hey go tell people to come move their stuff. Shouldn't be touching and moving stuff like that. I mean the kids had fun that's all that mattered but I'm glad I didn't pay for it. Also when we were leaving my 11 year old and I walked right out. No one manning the door to check our stamps to make sure I wasn't just taking a random kid out. Don't think that was safe in this day and age. read more

My son had his birthday party here. Not only was this location clean, the employees were friendly and helpful. The party was so organized and the kids had an absolute blast. The other parents even mentioned how easy and fun it was. So much better than when I was a kid. And I think the price was very reasonable for what was in the party package. read more

I'm from out of town and we were waiting for my wife who had plans in the area, so I took my two young daughters here on the evening of Sunday, May 15. It wasn't too busy and we had already eaten. We were just coming in for games. Since my daughters are 2 and 4 years of age, we're limited in what we can do here, but they really like some of the games. Full disclosure: I had had worked for CEC on and off for years, both as a cast member and as an assistant manager. I've seen similar evidence of this at other locations, but this location makes me think that the corporation is not holding the individual stores to the expectations they did about 10-20 years ago. As I walk around this place that isn't very busy, I just want to clean the tables. I think I did pick up trash off of the floor, because no one else was doing it. Old habits die hard! I just can't stand seeing an otherwise nice place look terrible because things aren't being cleaned as they should. Many of the tables weren't bussed, the floor wasn't swept, and the games were not being tended to. I saw the game guy once in about 1.5 hours. The men's bathroom was terribly dirty, which was unfortunate when my 4 year-old had to use the stall. We lost a coin in one game and I waited about 10-15 minutes for the attendant to show up after my request at the front cashier station. Another boy put a coin in it while I was keeping my eyes on my daughters and not on the game and I told him I'd hoped an attendant would show up. But no one ever did come over. It just seems that they were too short staffed, or the management's expectations are low for the cast members. Not sure. But I had wished for a better experience, because I truly believe CEC can still provide a great service, with good food and a fun time for children. I'll still go to CEC, but I won't seek out this location again. read more

First of all, let me remind everyone that this is what it is - a place filled with screaming kids that play fun games to win cheap prizes. That's the business model. Don't give poor rankings because of the fact that it's crazy or loud or contains a clientele that you don't like or are prejudiced against. That's not fair. That has nothing to do with the way a business performs. This location is well-managed and is pretty clean as well. The bathrooms do need some attention. The pizza was good for what it is, but is a overpriced in my opinion. Games are age-appropriate, fun , and clean. Only 1 token per game which is very nice. My kids and the guests at the birthday party had a blast! The ladies who were in charge of hosting our parties were helpful, nice, and took care of everything. my husband and I have 7 children four of which are grown now and 3 at home. we have been going to chuck e cheese for 30 year and never have had a problem until now; first of all,prices over the last 5 or more years have probably doubled but yet we continue to support this business until now. tonight at the fair lawn location we were greeted very rudely right off the bat by Alexis who presented herself as dishoveled and unkind as she was not even awnsering the simplest question and only moaned or mumbled under her voice. unfortunately Alexis was the same person we had to check out at the prize station. she was extremely rude, acting agitated and bothered by any thing at all that we would say or ask. so much so, that she had to be asked 3 times how many tickets something was (it wasnt directly under a sign) and still could only find it in herself to point at the 500 ticket price, adding a dirty look since the store announced that they will be closing at eight pm and it was 8:01 pm, I thoght that it would be a helping gester to take the two 6.00 dollars Cotten candys because my son had 1200 tickets. however, Alexis basically growled at me and said she didn't have any cotton candy even though there was some right there that I could see. I continued to be nice and simply asked about the bags that were in sight she said those cost 600 and we sell the 400 ones here. I asked if I could chip in the 2 dollar because all the years prior they always counted the tickets at a penny and everything that cost money could be bought with tickets. she did not acknowledge that I was only trying to explain my frame of thought from past experienc at chuck e cheese. she because angered and defensive, yelling at me actually in front of my child and other children waiting.thenn, she proceeded to tell on me to her manager or coworker and informt of me said that she would have to take over for her because I am to difficult and won't listen to her by asking about the cotton candy.my son had been exited because we never had 1200 tickets before and I askied if I could add a few dollars and but something for 1500 for him as there was nothing for 1200 for him- she refuse. she started makeing up prices and said he did t have enough untill her coworker had to tell her the real prices-Alexis yelled out "well I can't see the ticket price from back here". we had to spend some so we said we can buy some suckers and she just grabbed a handfull and range the rest of he tickets up to be done with us. we had never been treated this badly and are disappointed in Chuck E. Absolutely disgusted with the behavior of the young ignorant woman behind the ticket/prize counter! She is a small minded person that was so unbelievable rude to my 8 year old little cousin. She told him that a prize he picked was "really for a girl". This is not her decision or place to decide this for him. His parents were right there and they allowed him to pick the exact prize he wanted. She does not have any right to dictate or decide for him what prize he gets or does not get. This place used to be so cool as a kid. The way they have it set up now is that so everything requires you to buy tokens. There is no ball pit, no tubes, no slides. It is a casino for children.
