Chicken fried steak coleslaw jalapeño cheese n Mac and onion rings Fried Pickles

Food and appetizers were great Service was friendly and server was very patient Music was a mixed variety that was pleasant to hear light is great and not too dark and not too bright. Had the chicken fried steak

Nice atmosphere, surrounded by many tv screens. You enter and seat yourself. Staff was friendly and service was decent. I ordered the 2 piece chicken tender basket sub parmesan truffle fries for an extra $3. The chicken tenders were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Truffle Parm fries were delish. Chicken fried chicken and fried okra with mashed potatoes were deliscious, chicken fried chicken was crispy and moist as well. They also have a game room, fun place with decent food. Would recommend!

Came here on a Saturday evening to Check it out. Nice average bar scene, come in and there's a sign saying seat yourself so I did, waitress came promptly with menus. Food was above average. Would definitely return.

First time visiting for an after work happy hour. Laid back spot. Drink was fruity and strong. Very nice waiter. Fast service. We loved the truffle fries!!!!

12 wings for $15 + $1 carrots and celery

Christian's tailgate can be best described as your good ol' neighborhood run of the mill sports bar. Beware, since they're located on a one way street, their roadway sign is AFTER the actual entrance. So if you miss it, you got to go down the street to bust a U. Pretty aggravating since there's only one entrance. Inside, there are multiple TV's around the area, but non that garner a huge "wow" factor. The ambience shows your typical dimly lit, a little bit grunge, dive bar. There is a games area, but it almost looks haunted since they keep the lights barely on there. I've been here twice in the past week to capitalize on their happy hour specials. $3.50 domestic drafts and $2 tacos on Tuesday is definitely a pretty good deal. Unfortunately the HH drafts only include your typical and generic local beers like bud, coors, miller, michelob, Shiner, etc. Their $2 tacos actually is quite good for what you pay. With choices of shrimp, fish or beef, it comes with pico and some dressing. TBH a beer with a few tacos, at the price you pay is well worth it. Nothing too mind blowing, but good for the price you pay. I also got the 12 wings for $15 with the $1 extra for celery and carrots. The wing flavors were pretty decent and elected to get mango habanero and lemon pepper. However the wings itself were overly cooked and noticeably dry on the inside. It wasn't a big issue since they allow you to douse ranch on it, but it was pretty obvious. Came back on a Friday to do their $0.75 oysters deal. They claim its all day on their online menus, but they got some small print saying it starts at 2 pm on some banners inside the restaurant. I got there at 6 pm and they already sold out. SMH. Christian's Tailgate isn't my first place as a bar by far. But since its nearby and if I really want to watch a game, perhaps a few cheap beers just might do the trick.

I knew not to expect great food walking into a sports bar for lunch but I thought I might get lucky. First time at this location. Walked in just before noon and place was pretty empty. I was told to sit where I wanted as I walked in from a waitress across the room. Picked a higher table near the bar and the chair had a short leg that made it rock. I moved to another table and the chair was good but the table was sticky. The kind of sticky like it was wiped down with a dirty towel. My waitress came and took my order and I went with wings fried okra. The food came out in decent time. However I asked for lemon pepper wings and my wings had very little seasoning. On top of that they were over cooked. The fried okra was bland and just sad. I wanted to say something but one, I'm on my lunch break and don't have time to wait for a correction. And two my waitress was training a new hire. Making sure to remove this place from my lunch spots.

Fried fish and beef Tuesdays - Tacos

I've been glancing over and passing this establishment for years, assuming it was not a place for me. A friend of mine, mentioned it to me one day and said the food was pretty good and it was a cool environment. I was shocked that this place is literally less than 5 mins from me and someone else made the discovery. So I decided to step in last Taco Tuesday and was blessed by their fish and beef tacos!!!!!! Ya boy took down 6 of them and a couple of drinks. The bar service was attentive and friendly. The food and drinks were on point. I shall be back!

It's good! They're known for their burgers. It wasn't the best burger I've ever had but it was decent. The fried pickles were also good. The staff of friendly as it's a good place to watch a game. This location is perfect for Jets football fans. They gather here to watch games.

100% recommend this place. I stayed at the Best Western 10 ft. away from this bar & grille, and I'm glad I did. Got quite a few options of beer on tap, and a great food menu. Sadly I didn't get to try much food but the little bit that I did was great. One night they had karaoke and a DJ which was pretty fun. Great friendly servers, what looked like owners or managers always walking around helping out. The heart attack fries were splendid, may be one of the best "loaded" fries I've had. Super good. As well as the onion rings were a bit greasy if I remember right but also very good. They were never very busy when I've been but I also have only been after hours. Wish I would have tried more foods but I do recommend this place off of my experience!

They managed to keep the same relaxed neighborhood vibe people love while giving it a much more modern, polished, and upscale feel. The updated design, lighting, TVs and overall atmosphere look incredible and make the space feel fresh without losing its personality. They still have the spinning drink wheel! The outdoor seating especially feels elevated now and makes for the perfect Houston brunch spot or night out. One of the best parts about NextDoor is that it's connected to Hungry's, which means you get full access to their menu while enjoying the lounge atmosphere. Being able to order everything from cocktails and appetizers to full meals while at a bar is a game changer. The food is consistently good, the drinks are strong (especially the frozen options) well-made, and everything comes out quickly. What keeps me coming back year after year is the consistency. The staff has always been welcoming and attentive, the crowd is chill, and it never feels overly pretentious or chaotic. It's one of those rare spots that works for everything, whether it's happy hour after work, date night, catching up with friends over drinks on the patio or a solo adventure. Love seeing a longtime Houston favorite continue to evolve while still delivering the same great experience that's kept me coming back for years. Definitely one of my go-to spots on Memorial Drive. My only suggestion is to tell the younger staff members to be conscious of their conversations while guest are dining nearby. I love people watching but I heard a lot of things. It appears Hungry's uses the bar area like a break/training room or to do other tasks like rolling utensils in napkins.

Local sports bar, with plenty of outdoor seating and daily specials. We stopped by last Friday to…read moresit on the patio and unwind after work. We ordered the mango margarita and old fashions. Both drinks were pretty good and surprisingly strong! There's a few games outside too like giant connect 4 and Jenga. There's lots of fans around to keep the area cool and comfortable even though we were outside in the Texas heat.
