Woke up next day and seen there was a seperate $71 charge In my account. I tried contacting the bar was unable to get ahold of anyone. The next day seen that the unauthorized charge went from $71 to $91. had to drive all the way back to Headliners to speak with manager. The bartender stated manager was not in and to leave my contact information and they would call me and I have not heard from them. If I closed out my tab at $51 And left the bar there should have been NO more charges to my card at all. Hoping to get this resolved asap.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO ANYONE. & Judging off the reviews, looks like Suzann is rude to a lot of customers that come here. Whoever the lady with the short blonde hair with glasses who was serving on 5/19 in the 1PM hour was extremely rude and lacks basic customer service skills! I believe her name is Suzanne as that what's shown on my receipt. She was very impatient and cut us off when ordering. She then argued with someone in the party I was in. She shouldn't be working if this is how she's going to treat customers. Shame on this business for having an employee like this.

The manager did apologize and offered us a free hour of Virtual darts, which was actually pretty fun (honestly more entertaining than the simulators). Still, the pricing felt steep -- $13 per person for pool and $30 per hour for darts is ridiculous. Overall, nice idea and setting, but not worth the price.

We were hoping to grab some food, drinks, and catch the WNBA games while we were there. From the moment we walked in, the hostess and bartenders were extremely welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, we were really disappointed to find out that they didn't have WNBA League Pass--even though the Dream vs. Mercury game was actually listed on their clipboard of sporting events for the day. So, we ended up sitting in a sports bar watching the game on our phones. That was probably the biggest disappointment of the visit. Walk-On's is a sports bar, and practically every TV was showing preseason NFL games. Those games don't even count toward the regular season, while the WNBA game we wanted to watch had actual playoff implications. I would really love to see Walk-On's invest in WNBA League Pass and give patrons the opportunity to watch women's sports too. Women's sports deserve space on the TVs in sports bars just like men's sports do. Everyone Watches Women's Sports. Thankfully, the food and service were good enough that we stayed and still had a great time. I ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos with chips and queso, and they were fabulous! My date ordered the redfish tacos and said they were amazing, and our friend had the gumbo. The crackers served with the gumbo tasted a little stale, but that was really our only complaint about the food. We all had drinks, our bartender was really cool, and overall it turned into a fun, spontaneous outing. We would definitely come back--but Walk-On's, get that WNBA League Pass! If you're going to be a sports bar, let us watch all the sports.

This weekend the table tops along the window were replaced with booths. There are no TV's to the front or rear of the booths so now you have to sit with your head turned the whole time to watch a game, Neck fatigue and pain. From what I remember the tables were 4 toppers and that's what the booths are. So why the change? Other than that the wait staff has always been friendly and accommodating with requests. The items I have ordered have all been flavorful and served at proper temperature. Sometimes at a busy time your food can sit but not the case so far. Beer always good and cold. So if I'm ever late and can't a table in that area I'll look elsewhere.

They managed to keep the same relaxed neighborhood vibe people love while giving it a much more modern, polished, and upscale feel. The updated design, lighting, TVs and overall atmosphere look incredible and make the space feel fresh without losing its personality. They still have the spinning drink wheel! The outdoor seating especially feels elevated now and makes for the perfect Houston brunch spot or night out. One of the best parts about NextDoor is that it's connected to Hungry's, which means you get full access to their menu while enjoying the lounge atmosphere. Being able to order everything from cocktails and appetizers to full meals while at a bar is a game changer. The food is consistently good, the drinks are strong (especially the frozen options) well-made, and everything comes out quickly. What keeps me coming back year after year is the consistency. The staff has always been welcoming and attentive, the crowd is chill, and it never feels overly pretentious or chaotic. It's one of those rare spots that works for everything, whether it's happy hour after work, date night, catching up with friends over drinks on the patio or a solo adventure. Love seeing a longtime Houston favorite continue to evolve while still delivering the same great experience that's kept me coming back for years. Definitely one of my go-to spots on Memorial Drive. My only suggestion is to tell the younger staff members to be conscious of their conversations while guest are dining nearby. I love people watching but I heard a lot of things. It appears Hungry's uses the bar area like a break/training room or to do other tasks like rolling utensils in napkins.

The locals seemed enthusiastic about this spot, so we took their recommendation and went. It is not the cleanest, nor does it seem the friendliest upon entry. The drinks and food are on the cheaper side, which was nice. But there is no such thing as Southern hospitality when you walk through those doors. Though my friends and I were able to get seated and get comfortable, there was an extreme turn of events shortly after being there. There was an altercation involving a bartender, the manager, and a customer. I watched a young black male patron get confronted by the manager and from my point of view, it seemed that the customer was trying to de-escalate the situation and explain what was happening. The manager seemed to have no patience for this and started physically assaulting the customer - hiting him in the head, shoving him, etc. I don't know if the manager had friends there or security personnel, but the customer ended up being harassed and assaulted by several other people in the bar. They could have easily let him get his drink and possibly escorted him to another section where he could have been away from the scene or simply refunded his money and asked him to leave. Honestly, from the times I've visited the South, I've never encountered such a disgusting and disturbing interaction. Nor do I think I've ever witnessed something so vile and cruel at an establishment, especially when it was escalated by the staff. I will not be returning, and I would be very wary if you decide to visit this establishment.

They acted giddy and happy to help us put everything together, reassuring us that they would be there to support us on our big day. That all changed the moment they got paid. On the day of the event, we only saw the owners twice, and neither time was to help us. When I walked up to the owner to thank him for having us, his response was completely unprofessional: "Are you kidding? This is for you, you paid for it." The only other time he approached us was to aggressively complain about someone taking up two parking spots--and it wasn't even one of our guests. They also explicitly promised they would check on us throughout the event to see if we needed refills on water or drinks. They completely ghosted. We never saw them, and our guests were left without service. It has been three weeks since the event, and we haven't received a single follow-up call or text to ask how things went. They got their money and completely checked out. Nice place, but terrible owners and even worse service. Never again will we book with them.
