My favorite place in the Charlottesville area for pizza, and they always have plenty of single slices available.

My family tried this place for Pizza when we visited Ruckersville for a wedding back in May of this year. We ordered a cheese pizza and a sausage pizza to go. When we ate it back at the hotel it wasn't good. The crust was not cooked and the cheese was barely melted. The sausage pizza had some sausage meat. I thought both looked like and tasted like a frozen pizza. It was expensive for that price. I wouldn't go to this pizza place in Ruckersville if you want pizza. read more

Was not happy with this pizza. Meat lovers was$30 and did not have that much meat on it for the price. The Hawaiian was not as pricey but lacked sufficient toppings. Picked these up and when I got home they were not fully cooked, cheese was barely melted. I was disappointed. read more

The Worst of the Christian's Pizza... Is still fine. The crust is crunchier and the pizza has certainly been left out longer. This could be a symptom of its location, but restaurants should try to adapt and overcome. All that to say, the pizza slices still taste good and the staff is always friendly. There door says they are open until 9:00. They had their big ass sign lit up, so you could understand our surprise when we stopped in to get pizza at 8:10 and they were closed. The lady then, very rudely, told us to check their website. And... their website says they are open until 9:00. 8:00 on a Friday night is absurdly stupid and they don't even have their shit together. This place is still the best in the area. Their Margarita pizza is awesome. No one can beat it. It is truly New York style. Some places advertise NY style but there not. This is thin crust and fresh toppings. I always stop when I'm in the area. The owner is great and provides excellent service. read more

So it was my son birthday, I ordered 6 large pizzas that was disgusting! No sauce, no cheese and the pizza was dry! I end up having to get Tacos from Taco Bell because no one would eat the pizza‍ I called to talk to the manager and he wasn't available so they took my number down and said they would call back... let's just say I'm still waiting on that call. Not the same. For many years Christians was the best pizza on 29N. Over the past year or so they no longer provide the same quality. Take home pizzas have been consistently light on cheese. When I asked them to make sure there was enough cheese, they charged for for double cheese. Have also had pizzas range from under cooked to over cooked. Over the past few months and during this period o Covid, employees have not worn masks consistently. On one visit, not one staff member was wearing a mask. Oh, I wish they could make pizza like they used to and stop skipping on ingredients and mask compliance. read more

Best pizza I've ever had in my life. They have mastered the "crunchy on the outside, doughy on the inside" style. Nice thin crust but not slimy or floppy. Toppings are loaded on and good quality. There are 3 or 4 locations in Charlottesville and all seem to be good and consistent in my opinion. read more

BEST PIZZA I'VE HAD IN MY LIFE!!! And I'm not exaggerating because I've had pizza from New York. My signature pizza is black olives, mushrooms, & pineapple. It sounds gross but I promise you you will not be disappointed, especially the way they make it! One slice fills me up, but I always get two just in case. It's so good even after I'm full I can't stop eating cause the amount of flavors and juices you get when you take a single bite is just...AMAZING! The best pizza anywhere! Christians pizza is like gourmet pizza, focus on the ingredients with great crust Krisp. It really stands out from the other pizza in the area and is so well known in the area. Alittle pricey but well worth it. $4.00 for a slice. Avocado feta is the best tasting slice. Yum! read more

I have been eating Christian's Pizza for years now and have had pretty positive experiences with the restaurant and food. Today I called to order carryout and they said they would have it ready in 25 minutes. I went to pick it up at the time and the staff member asked me what I ordered, digging through receipts to find the order. The staff member found the order and continued to work without saying anything else. There was no further communication when the order would be finished, or reason given for why my order was lost/delayed. It took 20 more minutes to pick up my order and there was still no explanation given. I was pretty disappointed by how I was given no explanation for the delay or why my order was lost. When we opened the box, we found that the crusts were burnt and the broccoli barely cooked, which is not the Christian's pizza quality that I am used to. If we were given more honest expectations or even a explanation on why our order was lost/delayed, we would have understood. Just very disappointed by one of my favorite pizza places in town. read more

We love the Christian's downtown, but our experience just now seems to mirror that of some people at the location on the corner. We called over an hour ago and placed an order for 2 pizzas. We were told it would be 25 minutes. When we arrived 30 minutes after ordering it became apparent they had not entered our order. We understand that mistakes happen. However, they lied and said it would just be a few more minutes. Then my wife watched them pull a cold cheese pizza off a shelf and stick it in the oven for a few minutes. When told it was supposed to be half pepperoni, they lied and said they had put it on. My wife watched them put the pepperoni on and then asked if it had been put in the oven (she knew it hadn't). First they lied and said yes it had. Then they said it hadn't but the pizza was hot so it would be fine. All the while, our specialty pizza was rushed and the broccoli is basically raw and the cheese barely heated, so we are reheating it at home. We would have appreciated honesty about the order not being placed and given the option of leaving or not. That would have been much better than paying full price for "fresh" pizza that we're having to bake in our own oven at home, after having been lied to. read more

Stopped by here a couple of times now. Their pizza isn't too bad and the prices are decent. Unfortunately I thought the cheese pizza was lacking in flavor and amount of cheese on it. The meatball pizza was great though and the pepperoni/sausage was insanely good. Same with all though, just needed a bit more cheese to be solid. It's a lot like a cracker with pizza sauce and toppings. The toppings were fresh and good quality and the pizza sauce was fine, but when you put wet stuff on top of a cracker it gets soggy. I hate soggy pizza. read more

Visited Christian's pizza for the first time. The inside is a little worn but comfortable. I created my own pizza of spinach, feta cheese, green peppers, onions. I must say the ingredients were very fresh and overall the pizza was very tasty. I enjoyed every slice and took home the leftovers. I will definitely go back in the future! read more

I took my wife an kids here one night due to our craving for pizza and how close it is to our house. I was pleasantly surprised to see the selection of pizzas to try. I opted for the artichoke/spinach/mushroom combo and a slice of chicken Parmesan. My wife got a sort of Greek pizza and my kids of course got pepperoni. I liked both my choices but I think the chicken parm pizza was amazing. The artichoke pizza almost had too much artichoke but it still was good. The service was good.
