Christian's Pizza will always be my favorite and go-to late night pizza spot at UVA and in Charlottesville. Their slices are baked fresh upon arrival and taste so good. They also have loads of unique toppings and pies to choose from! My favorite slice at Christian's will forever be their Avocado Feta Pizza (AvoFeta). A couple other favorites are the Margherita, Pesto Tortellini, Classic Cheese, Mushroom on White!

Convenient and fast pizza after a night out. Christian's is not the best in the area or on the corner but it gets the job done. The restaurant stays open late and most of the customers on the corner are college students. The pizza is baked well and has a nice thin crust. However, it's greasy and the individual slices are expensive.

Great food for a great price! The crust is very crispy and the toppings are very flavorful. The wait time is also very quick.

Crispy thin crust pizza by the slice. Approx 8 different types to choose from. They toss it in the oven after u order so it's served fresh tasting& hot. Floor, tables and bathroom were filthy which somewhat ruined my experience.

Great late night eats. I probably chose the most simplistic pizza tomato mozzarella and basil. But it still taste amazing the tomatoes were fresh and and so was the basil. You could defiantly taste the acidity and sweetness of the tomato. The pizza had a nice crunch on the bottom even with the juice drippings of the tomato. They have a great variety of pizza. Some interesting ones were their Mediterranean, tortellini, and chicken parmesan. overall a great place to grab a quick bite and I'll definitely be returning for another Alice or two the next time in cville.

As a college kid who has been at UVA for the past 4 years, Christian's is many times the spot to go to after bars and before going home. I've ordered the avocado feta pizza at least 10 times in my life and it never fails to impress. Christian's makes really unique pizza combinations and they are always of high quality on a solid, crispy crust. I am also always impressed and have a lot of respect for the owner and worker staff who is constantly trying to manage at least 100 drunk kids on the weekend. Yet, they deliver our food fast, piping hot, and with ease. Through my 4 years, I've never had a problem. Some other recommendations for pizza include the tortellini pizza and chicken parmesan. If you are in Charlottesville and need a quick bite after going out, this is the place.

Single slices wedged into a box in an attempt to look like a half cheese, half pepperoni and mushroom pie.

In general, I'm a fan of Christian's Pizza and their multiple locations in town, but I recently had an awful experience at Christian's on the corner and will never return there. At 10pm I called to order a pie to go. It was a simple order, half cheese, half pepperoni and mushroom. I was told it would be 15 minutes. I arrived about 20 minutes later and was told it would be "4 more minutes". I then watched what appeared to be the only employee on site, take a few cold slices from the display and toss them in the oven. He then grabbed a few more and sprinkled some toppings on them and also tossed them in the oven. I thought, he can't really be trying to assemble my pie from cold slices, can he? A few minutes later he pulled these slices from the oven, attempted to assembled them in a box, as I watched, and then gave me the box. He said, sorry, I can't make a half and half pizza, this is the best I can do. While he let me leave with this box of pizza for free, it was absolutely not what I ordered and driven over there to pick up. Instead I was given - bunch of soggy slices. Two of these slices had either broken or were half eaten. The "pepperoni and mushroom" side of the pizza didn't contain a single slice of pepperoni. Oh, and there was unmelted cheese all over the pizza. I was hungry and have enjoyed the pizza from Christian's on the corner before so I attempted to eat the only decent looking slice, but it was just awful. I threw away the entire "pie", or collection of slices wedged together in a box. This was an absolutely pathetic excuse for a pizza pie. I will not return to Christian's on the corner.I

Such a great place for a late night slice of pizza! I tried several here and loved them all. The owner is also super sweet.

We each got a pizza and were able to finish both since we were starving. We loved the pizza scissors! Our server was prompt, and we felt lucky to be seated right away on a Wednesday night. Their connecting bar was having a concert outside, with what felt like hundreds of people in attendance. We also learned that we could park in the industrial warehouse lot next door since it was after 5 PM. We'll be back!

Thankfully, got the drink and were called in early about 15 minutes into the wait. That little surprise made things start off on a good note. Once inside, we sat at the bar since there weren't tables available and we were HUNGRY and cold! Even with the weather and a busy crowd, everything felt smooth and relaxed. AMBIANCE The place was small and cozy with a warm vibe that instantly made us forget the rain outside! The cool shallot-shaped lamps over the bar gave off soft light, making the whole space feel super calm and inviting. Sitting at the bar felt right choice for us for our first time -- close enough to the energy of the restaurant and people watching and seeing the pizzas get made but still comfortable! There's a soft buzz but cozy enough to chat and just feel at home. FOOD We ordered the Abruzzo pizza with beef and pork meatballs, fiore di latte, San Marzano tomato, basil, and pecorino. It was hearty and rich but still balanced. We also wanted to try the Prosciutto pizza, which was not the favorite but still good. The San Marzano tomato sauce for the Abruzzo was the star of the show. We were sad we didn't order another pizza with the tomato sauce to switch it up but oh well, another time right?! Loved the floppiness, the tomato sauce flavor, and the crust! Have to love the scissor-plate idea -- very clever and so easy. And size of these personal small-sized pizzas perfect for 2 people so we could have room for dessert and not have leftovers! We finished with the Zeppole "donuts" which were fried ricotta donuts tossed in cinnamon sugar with a hint of lemon (which I LOVED the lemon here and cinnamon sugar worked perfectly!). They were light, warm, crispy and just what you want at the end of a meal. The food was delicious, though definitely on the pricier side ($16-$18 each for the small pizzas, $9 for dessert. Still, everything felt thoughtful and worth it for the quality!

We came back to this spot and took our pizzas and meatball sandwich to go. The art park has some places you could eat outdoors, though some are marked off for other businesses. For a 100% takeout, it wasn't the smoothest experience. They ran out of some things, they ran a bit over the projected order time, and they forgot my beverage, which thankfully I realized before I'd gotten very far. The flavor delivered as I would have hoped, with pure tomato tang, fresh basil, and a delectable charred crust on the core pizza I got. Adding a vegetable sandwich was a good decision in terms of taste, but either the preserved peppers they use or some other ingredient was so salty it took me a while to recover from even eating half of it. I do give them credit for offering sparkling water at a reasonable price. And of note, the budino dessert they offer, while described as pudding, is something that I learned is actually vegetarian (albeit with dairy and eggs), and delivered more excellent flavor. Overall, the amount I got for the money was not great, and while there were ample quality ingredients, I would sooner go back to eating in.
