She was very friendly and helpful and stood out among all the other luxury store employees. Everyone at Dior was very professional and made me feel welcomed. There is a wide selection of items here. Ended up purchasing a cream colored bag for my wife and a pink scarf as well. Mai showed us how to wrap the scarf around the handbag and it looked beautiful. Located inside Ala moana shopping centermall level, Christian Dior store has been around for many years. They renovated the store not too long ago so inside is very nice. I love that they have a lot of sitting area so I can relax while my wife is shopping. My wife loves their shoes, handbag, so she shops there every now and then. The sales person are usually very friendly. They served us bottle water while we shop and give us suggestion to the product and let us try out everything. They also text us new product when they arrive. I consider Dior is one of the middle value designer brand. They are not super expensive but it's also not the cheapest. Dior falls under the LVMH umbrella, along with Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Tiffany and some other luxury stores. The store is beautiful, clean and bright. They have a men's section and a women's section. They're most known for their Lady Dior and book tote bags. It seems like they have different designs every season. Outside they have the Dior Cafe. There are only a handful of Dior Cafes in the world and one just happens to be in Honolulu. Try the açaí bowl and cappuccino. It contains rose infused syrup. read more

I happened to be on the Dior website and saw that they had ABCDior mitzah scarfs! I was completely in love with the J one and since I was flying to Oahu I was able to check the in store stock and also make an in store appointment for the following day once I was on the island. Karen from the Ala Moana store contacted me to confirm my appointment. Upon arrival my sister and I were immediately greeted and introduced to Karen. She presented the mitzah to me and allowed us to look around the store at our leisure and offered us bottled water. My sister found a cardholder in a color way that was just released earlier this week. This Dior does have Hawaii pricing do depending on the item it is cheaper than website pricing. My mitzah was $240 in store and $250 online. Their mini lady Dior bag (that I did not purchase because my wallet would be angry) is $5.2k in store and $5.5K online. I was in town visiting from California. I told my husband I wanted to go into Dior, but then I decided against it. He then said, "Don't forget the prices will be cheaper here than back home, so don't pull one of your numbers and go back home and order online when we can get something a bit cheaper here in Hawaii." He was right, so we turned around. I entered the store at 3:58. The doorman greeted me, but no one else did. The sales associates (SAs) were busy with clients. I entered in wanted a saddle shaped card case wallet, so I went to the case and stood there. I told my husband I would give the associates until 4:01 to acknowledge me. I didn't get acknowledged until 4:08--so I didn't stay true to my word. Makiko came up and apologized for someone not helping me, but she asked how she could assist. I pointed out the wallet and she pulled it out to show me. Then I asked about the wallet on chain and she was a goooood salesperson. She was explaining why a WOC would be the better choice. There was a cheaper WOC option, but she explained the cons of having the smaller version. At that point, I was about to get the WOC. I told Makiko I wanted to talk to my husband and she said to take my time. Then, I decided to ask about a medium Dior book tote with strap. One of my mainland SAs let me know the tote would be available January 4th, 2024; Makiko confirmed this. She also said the store got four of them and someone purchase one that day. She said she'd bring it out for me to see. I fell in lovvvvvve. She explained that I would have to put the full price deposit down, but she could ship it to me for $60 (they will ship free over $5,000-they should ship everything free!!!). When I heard my husband say, "Ohhh, that's nice. I like it." I knew that was the bag! Anyway, in the end, I purchased a book tote and a wallet that just arrived that day. I love shopping at this location. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating. Makiko my SA is fab and so is Diane the manager. I've always been offered water-sparking or still at my visit. The store is well organized and has many pretty display items. The lounge chairs are comfy. I also like that they use a wireless scanner to make your purchase. No waiting at a register or counter. The packaging is always so lovely and your purchase is wrapped with care. I always receive the best service! I recently came for an event. This was my first time shopping at a designer store. All my other items have been online or gifts, so I wasn't sure what to expect in person. My husband and I dress extremely casual, so I was slightly nervous about being pre-judged. There was initially no wait, however there was a small line when we left. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted with a big smile by an associate (from a distance, she was helping someone). The same associate who greeted us was the same one to help us, Lee. I came for earrings but she also helped us find a fantastic necklace to match. She was extremely personable and knowledgeable, making the shopping experience enjoyable for us. She also had eyes everywhere - constantly scanning the store to ensure people were tended to and display items were returned to their correct locations. Need zipper handle repair. Went 3 times, they said service manager not avail. One visit, they said will cost $500. I said go ahead. They took pix and still no reply. $500 not good enough?! Currently there is a promo where you pay No tax plus Hawaii Price (10% avg lower price on most items) and that is as good as it gets. Each time I go in this store, nothing but hellos. To my surprise, I was stoked that my sales advisor immediately recognized me even with my mask on. I had to ask him (Siu aka "C") if he remembered me and he said yes that's why I waved at you as soon as you walked in. That made feel special lol Most times, I'm just dressed in athletic wear and most times, I just window shop but they have never treated me any less. Coming from California, I have never received a stellar service like we had at Dior of Ala Moana Center. As you know, I like to dress very casually and lol, maybe I could be categorized as a bum. So we went in to Christian Dior shop here at Ala Moana. Once, we entered the store Sujung approached us, greeted us and showed us around. We were not looking to buy, but courteously Sujung handed his card for us to keep. I was really impressed with his professionalism, never once he looked at us with the corner of his eyes. Very sincere. So we went to eat at Shabuya. Afterwards, I told my wife to go back to the store to purchase something. My wife just wanted the cheapest handbag because she was not planning to buy anything, but due to Sujung's professionalism, I told her to get whichever handbag that she liked. We ended up buying a $2500 bag. It was well worth it. After the purchase, two days later, Sujung sent us an email and text message to thank us for the purchase. I am impressed!!! She showed me the same size and color in different items and realized it wasn't for me. I've been in retail for a long time, I understand customers service and I know This Dior and many other luxury retailers depend on Asian clientele especially in Hawaii where 80% of business is from tourism. But at least hire some people that can speak decent English... The girl that sold me jewelry misunderstood when I said to her "I'll think about it" she responded saying "you buy? You pay credit or cash? You want to buy shopping bag?" She also could not answer questions that I asked such as "what kind of metal material is this made of?" "Will this jewelry tarnish?" "Are the pearls real or resin?" You would think luxury stores Like Dior would hire some one sophisticated enough to answer basic questions....but no, I did not get any of my questions answered, except a scared tactic response from the sales associate who said "this last one, no more", then she went to check in the drawer, and believe it or not, there was a couple of that product left. She took my number and even my Instagram to get in contact me, should the item come around. And what really made my time here special was how much Coco cared. I'm sure the scarf was only a few hundred dollars, but her effort made it seem as if I was spending a million dollars in there. For the amount of time i was in there, we got to know each other so well and my oh my, Coco really is the sweetest and went so above and beyond to help me. I really wish they had the item I wanted. We were recently in Hawaii for our 20th wedding anniversary from Australia. We have been here before and love Alomoana Shopping Centre. My daughter who is nearly 19yrs old had wanted to get a Dior Card holder on this trip. Obviously she didn't want her parents to come into the store with her. She walked in, one staff member glared out her the entire time & followed her around like she was going to steal something. NO ONE offered her help and she felt that intimidated she left. When she told me I was furious as this was the one thing she really wanted to purchase. I entered the store & no one asked me if I wanted help. Eventually I asked if I could speak to the manager and a sales assistance said I am the supervisor. Not sure if I believed her but I would imagine the store would have a manager as it was during the week. I explained regardless of how people look (she was presented well) & how she was treated it was unexceptable. Also they had lost a sale. Instead of offering to invite my daughter back in and the "supervisor" help her with her purchase and apologise to her personally she only said oh...sorry about that. DIOR U may be high end but Lily our daughter felt like Pretty Woman....she felt she wasn't good enough to shop & left Hawaii without her beautiful credit card holder.... This review is for the doorman who used his own discretion to reject me at the front entry. There are multiple entrances at this location. I went to the women's end first and the doorman kindly pointed me in the direction of the other entrance for the men's side of the store. I thanked him and made my way to the other (main) entrance. Upon my right big toe entering the threshold of the establishment, an older man steeped in front of me, asked if I had an appointment (which I did not) then told me to leave and go back to the other door where the women's section is. I chuckled to myself because at this point.. it's just funny/sad. I go back to the original gentleman (the nice one). I explain the situation and he looks to the doorman who rejected me and gave him a thumbs-up. Presumably to indicate "he's all good".
