Someone edited this video before Christenson Electric sent it to the Insurance companies. How can this happen when the video was in their hands all the time. When the red van backs out it is very clear that his front tires are turned extreme left. Why then does Liberty Mutual Insurance claim that the van did not turn left but was in motion to back up when the truck plowed into it.
Liberty Mutual Insurance said that the driver of the van told them "I did not turn left" and two Christenson employees who witnessed this lied, telling different versions to different people

Note the Black line above the Blue line in the Pic, and compare the Pic to the Video. The van past that long line in the pavement proofing the van traveled twice the distance of the silver truck in the same time period. He made very sharp turns. This proofs that the video was screeched, good job to Christenson Electric for the fine Post Editing. Very Criminal?
Can someone please help me show that this video was edited and can not be the original video that came from a security camera of this pixel resolution. This video was sent to the Dept of Consumer and Business Services by Ameriprise insurance on a computer disc after they said it was not edited.
This video was recorded by a security camera that Christenson Electric owns, the red van is also theirs. This video will show that you can take a 640X480 pixel resolution video and edit it to change the outcome. The parking lot in this video is over 40 feet wide not counting the parking spaces or the warehouse driveway. And shows the red van turning it's wheels far left as can be seen in this video. Then it enters a driveway 40 feet from where it pulled out and then makes a sharp right turn before pulling in front of the silver truck. The size of the parking lot can easily be seen from Google Earth, as well as the vans relationship to where it pulled out and where it was going. The address is 4810 N. Lagoon Avenue, Suite 200, Portland, Oregon 97217. The turn to the left is much more severe than shown since the van started turning left at the halfway point of the space he pulled out of making the turn towards the driveway almost 90 degrees.
You would never know the parking lot is that wide when previewing this video.
Liberty Mutual Insurance said that the silver truck "attempted to pass the van on the right while in motion to back up"
Liberty Mutual Insurance is Chistensons insurance so you can't blame them for accepting this video. You can blame them for not being aware that this video just simply does not look right. The Time is wrong and so is the video speed. A quick look at this video makes the truck look at fault. Remember the van traveled almost twice the distance as the truck in the same amount of time, when the van turned left and came back around. After you see the parking lot from above in Google Earth this all goes together. This edited video hides that very cleverly. Remember that the van is headed straight towards the camera so the speed of the van and distance traveled can not be determined. This is why the video was sped up. Again very clever editing.
But, Ameriprise Insurance insures the silver pickup and said "the other party made a slight turn to the left" and put the silver truck at fault. If the van made a slight turn to the left then why did he turn his wheels maximum left and enter the driveway almost 40 feet from where it pulled out. Ameriprise can not figure out that the van is going straight towards the camera that is above at roof top level and the video is stretched to a different aspect ratio than the original.
A look at Google Earth or Street View shows the sharp angle that the van would have had to make. The roof top camera can also be seen.
It is very clear that some one edited this video. The video properties shows that it is a 640x480 pixel resolution. this can not be edited out. The video sent to the insurance companies was stretched, cut and sped up in some of the frames. It is no longer the original video. Why was the original video not sent to the insurance companies?
Ameriprise is one of the lowest rated auto insurers out there. The low ratting may be that the claims reps are not properly trained. They don't even know what a 640x480 pixel resolution video is. Yet they make decision that are entirly above their knowledge level daily.
So if you want to cheat the insurance company, don't worry some will let you
