Assessment fees were not disclosed verbally or on their website. They wanted to charge $240 to remove a light bulb which took 15 minutes of the technician's time. Office manager agreed to cut the bill to $150 - so generous! :-( Will not be a returning customer! I wish I could give less than a star rating! read more

Great to work with and definitely will recommend this company. Needed to install an EV charger and very quickly I got scheduled to review the scope of work. Very competitive quote provided to re-feed my sub panel and installation of the EV charger. They are able to quickly schedule the installation without long wait. Both electricians that came to work on the project was very nice and able to get the panel re-feed nicely while minimizing the sheet rock opening. Overall was very satisfy with the job. With all these glowing reviews, we had to give them a shot, but unfortunately we ended up extremely disappointed. Just to get an estimate was $145, it isn't fun, but relatively typical, we'll take it. Labor is $145/hr, so it makes sense to us. They show up at around 10am. The estimate comes in at $800, which includes parts, labor, working on two circuits, and a city permit fee of $75 each circuit. That leaves us about $650 for parts and labor based on the estimate. About $300 higher than another estimate we got from another company for free, but they're here now, so let's just get it done. Then we learn they don't have the necessary parts or equipment. They spend the next hour driving around to get parts. They say the parts are only going to be around $125, so we're thinking 2-3 hours labor + parts + city fees...seems reasonable...we should come in right under the $800. A little way in to the work, it looks like they can make just one circuit work, so the city fee will be half, just one $75 charge. Now we're thinking we'll come in well under the $800 now, since the labor is almost done, the parts cost is known, and the city fee will be cut in half. We estimate in our head around $635 (3 hours labor @ $145/hr + $125 + $75). Job is done. It is a little after 2pm. Time to write-up the invoice. What? It looks like we're going to be billed for the hour it took them to go get the parts for the job. I suppose we should have just had them come back another time, so that they were prepared from the start. So now we're at around 4 hours total, that's like $580 + half the city fee ($75) + about $125 for parts. Around $780, right? Looks like the estimate is about right. Wrong. They said parts would be around $125, but they were $210. Ugh. Okay, but that's $85 more and we saved $75 on one city fee, I guess that's OK. Now we're at $865. A little bit higher than estimated, especially when we thought we were going to come in under, but not too crazy...but we keep going down the invoice. We were wrong again. Turns out the $145/hr quote for labor was if there was only one person, but the second apprentice person costs extra, $75/hr more. That's another $300 that was not disclosed to us upfront. All said and done, the total was $1164 and some change. But we got a meager discount and it was *only* $1100. $300 more than the original estimate, despite half the city fees. $600 more than another company's estimate we received. Never doing business with them again. read more

So, it was Saturday afternoon and I had just discovered my water heater was leaking. The water heater company I contacted had me double check the circuit and discovered it was going to need to be upgraded, so I would need to also find an electrician. I was making my way through the Yelp listings, not having any luck and getting worried. Yelp showed that Conduit is closed on weekends, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. I just happened to catch Chuck in the office. He originally said he could get out to me Tuesday or Wednesday, but when I explained to him about the leaky water heater and that I couldn't get it replaced until someone upgraded the circuit, he said he could do Monday and in fact jumped in his truck and drove over to my house right then and there to take a look at the situation and make sure he knew what would be needed. He quoted me $500, which seems perfectly fair for a rush job running a new line in a crawl space and when he was done, the price didn't change. Chuck was super nice and did a great job. He didn't once mention that he was going out of his way for me. He just seemed to actually care about my predicament and want to help. I recommend Chuck and Conduit Electric 100%. read more

We needed a small job done and some of the electrician company's even rated good did not get back to us by phone , I called Conduit, and Chuck Parker got back almost immediately, friendly and professional telling me it would be no problem . Conduit was prompt in getting a great guy by the name of Pat out here , he stopped by ahead of time to look at what we needed which was simply a plug in outlet for a WiFi under enclosed closet stairwell ( odd spot ) but needed . I am always nervous when there is any cutting done on a wall Especially with wainscoting on other side , "easy", said Pat . Pat was back end of week raring to go , this guy knows his stuff and such a nice guy positive energy guy , he did a top notch professional job . I am feeling so elated! Now when I walk into my bedroom and hit the switch the light comes on!!  The lights there and in a couple of other places including an outside  light failed unexpectedly!  I was worried about the cost of repairs and who could I trust to do a good and honest job.  I  called around and checked reviews and couldn't really find anyone I felt I could trust. So I asked my good friend of 40 years and he recommended Conduit Electric. I looked them up online and they had great reviews! First call I spoke with a very nice gal named Rosy who tried to troubleshoot over the phone. I thought how honest is that!  Christina the scheduler (also very nice and friendly) called back  and made an appt for us with Shane the Electrician. He showed up at the appointed  hour and set to work. Within an hour he found the faulty wire!  I was so impressed!  He was  smart, professional and courteous and yet very kind and  friendly.  He checked and doublechecked everything . I couldn't believe he finished the entire job in under an hour.  We are all at the mercy of the technician when the electricity goes out . Its so wonderful to know that I can count on  Shane and Conduit Electric if anything ever fails again.  And if it does I wont hesitate to call.  I know how honest they are and what a good job they will do.  I feel so lucky to have found them!!
