I called Affinity to upgrade our electrical panel that was max'd out. Affinity is a family owned business with son and son in law also in the business. We have an 82 year old house that has been modified over the years. Russ came out the same day I called and gave me multiple options. The prices were fair and schedule was good. Great communication throughout the process. I gave them a small change asking to run a new line up into the garage attic for a future EV charger on the day of install and Russ quickly gave me a quote which I though was fair. I called a couple of electricians yesterday off of Yelp and Russ from Affinity Electric was able to come out and get me a quote the same day. The job was scheduled and completed the next day. We had a barn light over our garage that was on it's way out so he replaced it with a commercial grade wall mounted light with a dusk to dawn sensor added (looks soooooo much better!). Also he installed two more electrical outlets on their own circuits in the garage/shop so when we do work out there the breaker won't get tripped regularly. Russ is very personable and helped me to come up with the perfect solutions for our home-based business. Russ and his team are great. A few years ago, I did a complete remodel of my home that included almost all new wiring and a new electrical panel. Affinity did all of the electrical work. I'm still very happy. A couple of months ago, I hired Affinity to do the electrical work required to install a whole house backup generator. Again, I was very happy with their work. At my recommendation, Russ has also done significant electrical jobs for my niece on her first home (installed a new electrical panel and fixed the wiring issues found during inspection), and for my brother (large hot tub installation). I normally don't write reviews but felt I needed to say what a great experience we had with Affinity Electric. We are getting new garage doors in a week and needed an outlet put in the garage. We had been stood up by 2 previous contractors and were down to the wire. Nick came out to give us an estimate and when he found out the situation he said he would ask the office if he could work over (it was already 5:00), they gave him the ok and he did the work the same day . He has high standards and does things the right way, even it takes more time than expected. If he notices something isn't where it should be, he'll make recommendations, but leave the choice up to me.
