Alex was receptive, professional, and thorough. The two additional high electrical outlets he installed in our toddler's bedroom are perfect. While Alex was creating an in-wall media channel for cable management in the living room, he came across an unexpected cross brace between studs that was attached at a 45 degree angle. He went above and beyond trying to get something to cut through it from the media entry point a foot higher. I felt awful. We worked together and got creative and I authorized a small hole in the sheetrock in order to get directly at the brace. Alex made a very small hole and got the work done and the patch job was quick and easy. Took 3x the time it should have if we hadn't stumbled on the surprise. Thank you, Alex! read more

I purchased a bathroom fan and was overwhelmed at the complexity of the instructions. I reached out to Mike's Pro and they were available the next day! The electrician was polite, professional, and fast. He was able to get it installedand gave me a few tips for efficiency and the best use of the fan. Great workmanship and excellent service. They are awesome and super flexible on schedule (they offer nights and weekend appointments) and you can tell they really take great pride in their work. I believe Mike owns it Alex is his main tech....we had Alex on-site and it was truly an A+++ experience. We have already referred a few friends to them. And, one last thing Alex was super good with covid/masking up and booting on botties so he didn't bring dirt on carpet. Very happy customer here :) read more

This is miscategorized on Yelp - Mike is primarily an electrician, not a general handyman. I wish I could review Yelp for refusing to change the way they categorize businesses - I would give them 3 stars for not listing this guy correctly. To be clear, I didn't work with Mike since I was looking for a carpenter, but he seems very responsive. read more

Alex, our tech, was tidy and professional (wore a mask and foot booties the whole time). Mike was super responsive and was able to get me scheduled ASAP for a new appointment after I made a scheduling mistake which I greatly appreciated. Alex was on time and was a pro at mounting our Frame TV. He made sure we were happy with the placement and was able to accommodate our request to put in a new recessed plug. Hired this person to install a new smart door lock, smart thermostat and video doorbell. Booked me for 3 weeks out which was fine, but on the day of, he no showed with no communication, and has not responded to my messages the next day either. Consider the communication here to be disappointing and sub-par, regardless of his actual service work. I could have scheduled someone else during the 3 weeks I waited and had the service done by now. Bummer. read more

Mike did a great job mounting the tv + soundbar and concealing the associated cables. Unfortunately, I had timed it coming back from some minor surgery, so I was pretty out of it. But, Mike, was able to get the tv hung to the right spot without issue. We also changed the scope slightly from what we'd discussed online. I appreciated that he reminded me of that and the lower price coming with it when it came time to pay. read more

I had to chase her down to place an order, she seemed very un-motivated to sell lights. I paid for the lights, in full, and left. I didn't hear back from them for a month, so I decided to walk in there and see what was going on. I spoke to the front desk person. I explained that I hadn't heard back from them regarding my lights. She looked puzzled, then started rooting around on her cluttered desk, and said "oh, there is is!", and picked up a package, which had been sitting there for god knows how long. I explained that I paid for 3 lights. She looked disinterested, and told me she would call the supplier the next day and give me a call. Another month past, no phone call, so again I decided to go to the store. The same front desk person was there, and she looked up my order, one of the lights she said had been discontinued, and the other she wasn't sure why it hadn't been shipped. She promised to call them the next day. Another month past, and I returned. She hadn't done anything with my order, so I requested, and was given, a refund. 3 months wasted. Zero effort made to fulfill and order that I had paid for. AVOID!!

We'd called around and got quotes and had people bid, and almost everyone flaked out or wasn't responsive. Not the case with Skylights NW, a referral I got from a glass contractor I worked with last year. They were responsive right away, no BS, didn't try to push too hard to get me to replace all of them (when I'm planning to sell and am not interested in doing so). They came in higher than some of the other bids we got, but made up for it with a solid warranty and following through on their communications in a timely manner and showing up as scheduled, which was extremely valuable to us. We appreciated how quickly they got to our project and their communication along the way. They got us a bid and got the replacement installed within just over a week.
