With all the rains we had in the last few weeks we discovered that it was raining INSIDE the window of our office. Long story short...our entire roof needed to be replaced. Thankfully Tyler came out to do an inspection and confirmed we needed a new roof. But out of all the roofing companies we had come out to give us a quote.....Tyler was the only one that offered to put a tarp up because there was more rain on the way. A little caring and kindness goes a long way with me. All the estimates were similar in price, so there was no question that Tyler was going to get the job because he put that tarp up for us. We were very happy with job....took the crew 4.5 days to finish it and they cleaned up at the end of each day. I would highly recommend this company to everyone. They do excellent work and they actually care about their customers...which is a rare thing now days. Hire these guys - you won't regret it. read more

We had a wonderful experience with Christiansen Roofing from start to finish. The representative who came out to give us our bid was very personable, professional, and took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. We never felt rushed and truly appreciated how clearly everything was explained. The crew was hardworking and respectful of our property. Each day they made sure to clean up thoroughly, which meant a lot to us. Most importantly, our roof no longer leaks, and we have complete confidence in the quality of the work that was done. We were also pleased to know they used high-quality products made in the USA. We are extremely satisfied with the entire process and would highly recommend Christiansen Roofing to anyone in need of roofing services. We're also very thankful to the person who referred them to us! read more

We just had a new roof installed by Christensen Roofing and were very happy with the experience. There was additional repair work required on some fascia boards and a rafter tail. The roof and all the repair work looks great. This is the second house where Christensen Roofing has installed a new roof for us and they always do a great job. If we ever have a roofing issue, Sid Christensen is our first call. Jim B read more

Excellent roofing company! The whole crew was very professional and friendly. The project managers stopped by every day to check on things, and there was a foreman as well that was working on the job named Jose' who was great! Even the owner Sid stopped by a couple of times. Very good attention to detail, did a great job, and the price was good for the project after getting a couple of bids. Highly recommend! :) read more

We have had an excellent experience with Christensen Roofing on a re-roof of our two commercial buildings in Escondido. Of the three estimates we received Christensen's was the most comprehensive and competitive. The work was started as planned and finished ahead of schedule. The owner, Kinau, and the supervisor, Dan, were always available to answer any questions we had. We were kept updated by phone and videos. The roofing crew was very considerate during the process and made it possible for work inside the shops to continue. We have been very impressed by Christensen's honest and personal attention to our project. Christensen not only sells roofing, they sell service. Davis Family read more

Well, after a week of non stop rain, we developed a waterfall in our house. Thanks to the Corona virus we were here to experience it in all its glory. Once again, Christensen Roofing came to the rescue. It has been a few years, but the quality, price and workmanship are all still top notch. This time, we had more than just the leaky part fixed. I figure at this rate the whole roof will be new in about 5 more years. For roofing needs I highly recommend! read more

We just had our roof redone by Christensen Roofing and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Kinau was very responsive and easy to work with. The roof looks amazing and was completed on time.! We will definitely be using Christensen Roofing for any projects in the future. read more

I highly recommend this company. We were referred to them from our neighbor who used them for their roof replacement. We had a leak above our office before the rain got bad this season. I called two companies and Kinau from Christensen Roofing came out right away with his crew and repaired it. We never heard back from the other companies. When the hard rain came we discovered a different leak in our Master bathroom. It was determined that we needed to replace our roof. The paper underneath was bad and there was some wood rot that caused holes underneath the paper. It took some time for us to get the solar company to remove the solar so we could replace the roof. We stayed in communication with Kinau the entire time and he said his crew would be ready when we gave him a date. The day the solar company showed up to remove the solar, Kinau had his crew there first thing in the morning starting on the front part of the roof while they were removing the solar from the back. They were at my house first thing each morning and worked very hard. They were very organized and cleaned up everything. The roof looks great. They used double paper underneath and replaced all the bad wood and cracked tiles. They are very honest and straightforward about anything that needs to be done. They made sure we were 100% satisfied with their work and we are. Thanks again to Kinau and his crew! Great work! Ken and Patti Smith read more

With all the rain we got this year my 34 year old roof finally needed replacement. Christiansen Roofing was super efficient, came and gave me a very reasonable quote right away and started the job soon after. They were absolutely professional, did a great job and did it in a timely manner. Aside from what a great job they did, they are really nice people! read more

Saved in the nick of time, our leaky roof has been replaced by Keanu and his team of superior roofers right before another rain. We appreciate the prompt estimate, thorough concern for quality and great communications throughout the job, as well as reasonable pricing. Sid Christensen and his crew did a great job fixing my roof and taking care of my roof leak. They also found another spot that was the next part that would've leaked. They took pictures of the roof with the tiles off and after the underlay was replaced. They are very reasonably priced and trustworthy. I don't think they would try to sell you a service that wasn't needed. I will definitely use them when I decide to reroof my whole house - or fix another leak. read more

Honest and absolutely amazing to work with, they stood by their warranty after 12 years! They went back to the house more than 12 years later to replace shingles that were damaged without any hassle at all. Because of our good experience with their warranty work, we used them again for my parents house and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their pricing was competitive with our other estimates and their customer service and attention to detail was the amazing. And in addition to that, in the middle of the rains, they did me a favor and went outside their normal work area to fix a leak at my friends house. Top quality people and business, hard to find these days! read more

With good reviews on nextdoor for Christensen Roofing I decided to call them to fix a couple of leaks in my garage. I had called multiple folks but I got the most reasonable quote from Sid at Christensen Roofing. He also replaced all flashings to aluminum as preventative maintenance as concrete was falling apart. He was very prompt in his service and his guys did a good job. The leak is gone (for now) and I got 2 years warranty on his work. After the job was done, I did notice a couple of things that needed fixing which were inadvertently missed. I followed up with Sid and he was able to promptly send his guys again to fix it and they did. Also, they did extra work for me without charging extra, they attached the chimney cover which was loose and blew out the leaves which was much appreciated. Overall, I had a very positive experience with Sid and his team. I highly recommend them for roofing repairs. read more

Tyler bid a fair price, but the best part and a deciding factor is that he got a crew over to us before the big storm last month that brought flooding to the county. It was a small (couple of hours job) that fixed a roof leak that we knew would be a big problem if the work hadn't been completed before the heavy rains. Thanks Tyler! read more

Christensen Roofing did and exceptional job re-roofing the house and upgrading the attic ventilation, we are very pleased. The crew showed up on time, put down a beautiful roof, and cleaned up everything when complete. Sid when out of his way to made sure we were completely satisfied, he even hunted down the color of the shingles (that were not easily available) to make sure we received what we desired. Meeting and working with Sid was like being with a old friend. If you need a new roof give Christensen Roofing a call, you will be happy with the price and quality of work. read more

We are upgrading to solar. I had two solar quotes that had roof replacement at 30% higher than Christensen quoted. I then had three roofers come out. One was the same price as the solar and the other was almost the same as Christensen. The easy with the contract low pressure made me comfortable to choose them. I delayed 90 days on them and finally pulled the trigger. The price was the same and they were able to get me scheduled around my other projects. The day they removed the old roof, it started to drizzle in San Diego of all places. The crew worked until 6 pm to make sure there was no rain damage. The roof was finished in 3 days. The final product looks great. read more

We noticed a leak in our ceiling due to the 6" of rain that fell in 1 week. We needed someone to come by quickly to help us dissect the leak and received a recommendation from our neighbor to call Sid. We called him Friday afternoon and he came by our home the following day by noon. He was very helpful, figured out the leak, gave us a fair bid and stated they could fix the leak Monday. We agreed and his crew was out Monday morning at 8am, had the roof off, repaired the leak, replaced the roof tiles and cleaned up all by noon. They were efficient, professional and clean. Thank you Sid for your the quick turn around and professional work. Would highly recommend Sid to anyone read more

Great roofing contractor, the owner Sid is very easy going and a pleasure to work with. Took the time to explain the details of my new roof as quoted and during the lift and relay process. Sid and his crew did a great job and would gladly use them again. They showed up on time and when done for the day did a very good job of cleaning up. Also unlike a few companies we got bids from Sid did not ask for money up front, so it was like don't pay till your happy. This says a lot about a company and that the job would be done right. Under state law contractor are only allowed to get 10% to start work, we had one guy we got a bid from what wanted 75%. When we got the bid we also asked for a few references and all the people were happy with the job. He also included a copy of his workman comp. insurance. Great job, Bruce read more

Christensen Roofing is definitely a 5-star rating ! My roof was in terrible disrepair . . . After soliciting six roofing bids to tear off and replace my roof, Christensen Roofing checked all my boxes. I researched each company's license currency, insurance status and customer reviews. During the bid process, I was presented with lowball sales tactics, with inflated pricing added to the fine print of the contract; super low pricing from contractors without licensing or expired insurance and a couple of roofers not knowledgeable about the two layer underlayment requirement for low-slope roofs. Dan, from Christensen, knew the two layer requirement and called it out immediately. Kinau worked with me on selecting and finding the roofing materials that satisfied the aesthetics, radiant heat reflectivity and overall quality that could withstand the San Diego sun and Santa Ana winds. Like the company, Christensen's roofing crew is top notch. Jose was the lead and payed attention to detail and kept my property neat during the entire project. Christensen Roofing has been around for forty years because they have guys that know what they're doing. They talk the talk (share their years of knowledge about roofing) and walk the walk because they are professionals that promise timelines and deliver a quality roof that they stand behind, giving you peace of mind in their workmanship. read more

I was very pleased with Sid & his crew & the work they did on my roof. They removed the old roof quickly & were done putting on a new roof within a week. We needed to replace our roof paper and some broken tiles, and replace rotted and termite damaged wood throughout our 2 story home. After getting estimates from several other companies, I was most impressed by Sid Christensen. He is honest, straightforward, knowledgeable, experienced, and won't play games with pricing or products. No gimmicks, just fair pricing for honest, quality work. How refreshing! Sid himself went up on our roof to inspect the tiles, and examined all the eaves and fascia boards around our house to get an idea of what needed to be done. He then drew up a fair estimate and walked me through each item, point by point, answering any questions or concerns I brought up. He even came out a second time to speak with my husband. The work was completed ahead of schedule and for a reasonable price. His team was fast, considerate, and tidied up after each day's work. The workers paid attention to any input I had regarding the job, and were willing to ensure my satisfaction with the final details. I am very particular regarding the aesthetics of my home! I am relieved and satisfied to know that the work Christensen Roofing did on our home will keep it safe and secure for many years to come. read more

Sid called after I left a message on his machine. He called back and made an appointment and was right on time. He was very professional and gave me a fair quote and told me when he would start the job to fix the roof leak and was there on time with his workers and fixed the leak and left everything in clean and good order. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Thanks, Sid, I will recommend you to all my friends. read more

I contacted Mr. Chistensen to perform roof work in regards to a home inspection report. He verified the inspection findings and gave me an estimate for repairs/time-frame. Cost most reasonable. Time-frame good too. During the work, Mr. Christensen kept me informed regarding progress. When he found broken flashing (a completely unexpected discovery) he immediately informed me of situation and additional cost to repair. He waited for approval before completing the additional work. What I appreciated: his honesty and integrity. He took the time to keep me fully informed of situation. What I was most impressed by: He stopped by on a Saturday to complete job. And, at no additional cost, he painted the flashing on the chimney to match the flashing on rest of the roof. Nice touch! read more

We had our roof redone by Christensen Roofing a couple of years ago. The work itself went smoothly, nothing worth remarking. Recently, we had our house furnace checked by SDGE, and were told the ventilation cap on the roof was not in proper position which causes potential problem to ventilation of the house. We then got a roofing professional over to check on the ventilation cap on the roof. Without being told anything about our roof replacement work done two years ago, the gentleman stated that the vent cap was broken during roof replacement, and that the broken cap was screwed back with only two screws, leading to its tilted position. We contacted Christensen Roofing about this but got no response. read more

Awesome Roofer!!! Because I've completely remodeled my home, I realize that "Quality Workmanship" is a top priority. Sid and his team, with Rafael - who is an amazing lead, re-roofed our roof. It looks fabulous. It is the best re-tile on the block with the trim that looks like crown molding and the matching cement added under the tiles to keep birds and rodents out. The roof looks better than I could have imagined. Who knew a good looking roof could make such a difference. But in addition to the workmanship, to me, it is equally important how a contractor responds to the unexpected and the follow-up items.. There were two minor issues that needed looking into after the roofing (a/c unit and wood waterproofing in a certain area). I let Sid know about these issues and he took care of them in a timely manner. Most contractors would not have followed through to make sure that all issues were resolved since the main job was complete. Sid helped resolve these minor fixes. Now all is good :-) With Sid and his team, you will get a top-notch roofing job and attention to follow-up issues, if any. Look no further for your roofer!!!! read more

Sid and his team were amazing. Their demolition of my existing roof went very smooth, and they did a great job cleaning up every day. Once the roofing was removed we had several dry rot damaged wood to remove and replace, and they did an excellent job of replacement. Great that they could do the rough carpentry and the roofing. Finished product, could not be happier, it looks beautiful. Sid communicated all the changes and additional work very clear and they went above and beyond on the finished product. read more
