Corned beef hash, scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes with a single pancake. It was delicious.

Checked out this local favorite and I wasn't disappointed. Friendly service, typical diner food breakfast selections and fair prices is what I found while eating breakfast at Chris' Diner. I will definitely try it again with the family.

My usual "Clinton St. Diner'' was unfortunately closed today. So, decided to blindly give this place a try. And wow.. Overpriced Pig Chow! The eggs & toast were, ok? The orange juice was good... Overall, not a good first impression. No clue how this place is even open. Maybe, desperately hungry customers? The black stuff on the plate is burnt remains from the skillet. The fact that this plate was even presented in front of me had me feeling as if I was some sort of stray mutt or pig. I've never went out to eat breakfast, and then have to go home to cook so that I can eat breakfast. Btw, I don't even write reviews. I went out of my way to write this.

Place came highly recommended by a guest at the hotel we were staying , he advised us not to eat at the hotel restaurant. So Saturday Morning we decided to try Chris Diner . Food : absolutely delicious , the home fries were actually nice and fresh and not something like some places where they just sit there and get burnt. And everything came super fast Place had good vibes and it was crowded from the minute we walked in till the minute we left , will definitely go back there if I ever visit the area again . Service : Libby was out waitress and she was the nicest thing , making such a pleasant experience for us . So it was a win win .. great service , great vibe and great food . If you even go to Binghamton you definitely should check out Chris Diner .. 5 stars across the board .

Freshest, Most Delicious Breakfast Sandwich I've EVER Had!!! And don't get me started on these Home fries

We tried this diner, it was ok. Nothing special. The service was good, food came quickly. There is no ambiance, just clean. The blueberry pancakes were large, definitely not light and flaky. The sausage and gravy was not great. Prices were average for diner food.

Very good breakfast spot in Binghamton, NY as evidenced by how insanely busy it was!! This is your basic diner-kind-of-place that all the locals go which are always the best places for breakfast food! I was staying at a nearby hotel with 15 other women for a weekend get away and we came here on the last day right after we all checked out. We took up 4 tables (2 pushed together) and Maria was our server. Even with how slammed the restaurant was she took very good care of us and everything was tasty and came out in a very reasonable amount of time. I'll be sure to hit this spot next time I'm in Binghamton!

This is a cute little diner. The food was great & and the service was good. I definitely recommend this place as I'm sure I'll return during my 13 week stay here in town.

If you asked me to guess where COVID-19 started, I'd guess it was here. Truly, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The first red flag started back in the parking lot, when I saw one of the cooks taking a cigarette break and "scratching" his nose. Immediately upon entry, I knew it was going to be bad. The decor was retro, but more retro in the fact it hasn't been cleaned in 50 years. The tables were cramped, the ceilings were low, the walls were dirty and yellow, and there was a thriving population of flies. While the food was cheap, believe me, my stomach payed for it later. The waffles and pancakes were dry, flavorless, and tasted like they came from an expired packet of Bisquick pancake mix. I didn't try the eggs and potatoes, but my party said they were just as bad. I really would've liked to support a small, family owned diner like Chris', but truthfully I don't know how this place is still in business.

Reasonable prices for great food. You can sit anywhere. Everyone is nice. They only take cash, but have an ATM in the diner.

Anyways the food was great I got here right at 7 after a long and grueling 16 hour shift so I was very hungry. I ordered an order of French toast and the Greek gyro omelette. The French toast was delicious and one of the items that I would argue is a staple here It's among my top three favorite French Toast (my mom's being #1 of course). Now when I read the Greek gyro omelette I really though why would I put taziki sauce on this but when I say it was the most delicious thing I could've done the sauce just took the omelette to a whole other level it was so good. Inside at 7 it's a group of regulars maybe 10 people total and the server knows them all by name. She was very nice I didn't happen to catch her name. I paid $25 and I'll include what I had a hard time finding anywhere online the breakfast menu.

I love their souvlaki sandwiches for lunch (with chips) or dinner (with sweet potato fries & soup). Lots of good breakfast options too, with satisfying portions. We came towards the end of the lunch rush (1-2PM?) and were seated immediately. The ambiance is hip and buzzy, with lots of colorful decor. The menu had some very tempting options, even for vegetarians. We started with the buffalo brussel sprouts, a stroke of genius. I'd never thought about dousing this tasty veggie in hot sauce and blue cheese, but it makes sense. This was a very tasty app, and the sprouts were roasted perfectly with crispy outer skins which provided the crunch needed for a good buffalo dish. The special that day was some kind of french dip sandwich which one of my dining companions got. Another one got a cajun catfish sandwich and graciously offered me a bite. It was flavorful. For my main, I got the spring roll bowl and decided to add tofu. It had noodles, peanuts, a sweet thai chili sauce, and lots of veggies. It was MASSIVE. Prices are a little high but the portions definitely made it worth it. I could have taken half home as leftovers if I'd wanted. The restaurant also has a coffee bar which we decided last minute to partake in instead of venturing out into the rain to find a different cafe. This was such a convenient option because we didn't have to fight to find parking or brave the weather to go to a second location. I did a pistachio latte. Someone else at my table got a Mexican hot chocolate. I treated myself to the homemade whipped cream. The coffee hit the spot. Throughout the whole experience the staff was wonderful. Our food came out quickly, and the servers were very friendly and joking with us. I'd come back if I was in the area.

At no time within that hour did anyone come over and acknowledge the fact that it was taking over an hour to get our food. When I finally asked to see a manager, the host responded with "well. the manager is really busy, but I'll see if she has time to talk to you." When the manager did come over, I was the one who had to suggest that maybe she do something for our table. She ultimately comped our drinks. Really not worth the hype. I don't understand why everyone says this place is so great.

They do have other menu items so figured that would work. First, I was a bit blow away by the prices but had heard the portions are huge so figured that would make up for it. Just know, most of the Mac & Cheese dishes here are about $20 for a full order. On the surface that seems absurd but the portions are massive. I know for a fact with what we order we'll get 2-3 meals out of it easily. As for the food, I'm a bit MEH on it. Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you SHOULD do something and that goes for Mac & Cheese. There are at ton of different varieties and we got a good sampling between Shrimp Scampi, Rodeo (think BBQ pulled port) and Chicken Bacon Ranch. We also got their Friday special which was fish fry (and they only seem to do fish on Friday's). The fish was really the winner here, it was fantastic and gives you a decent variety with fries, Cole slaw and plain mac and cheese on the side. It was easily the highlight of the dinners. The Mac & Cheese was OK. The CBR was the best of the three and the Shrimp Scampi lacked flavor. For the price, I'd expect to be blown away. None of us felt we'd come back and ever the M&C again but could be convinced to visit for the fish. It doesn't really matter that the portions are huge of you aren't thrilled with the food. We'll eat them but it isn't something we'd look forward to. One other thing, with M&C being the ONLY thing you get it is just a LOT of the same thing. We also got the Nacho appetizer which was good but small and others do it better. Bottom line is that are better choices around and that's that great thing about this area. Despite its size, there are some really good choices for dinner but I just can't recommend this one.

Presentation was great. I like the rectangular plate with fries in middle. Unfortunately the actual sandwich was just too salty. Not flavorful salty but just plain old salty. I feel bad when good staff has to serve mediocre food. In Mooney's defense they are famous for their Mac n cheese not their sandwiches.

Anyways, we ordered using the screens, and ordered the pick two option. Order arrived in a timely manner. They just made a mistake and swapped our sandwiches (which wasn't the worst thing because the main difference was avocados). The bagel was really nice and the soup also hit the spot. The staff was decent (or perhaps I just expected them to be terrible based on the reviews =) ). In general, I love this location as it's well-lit and is spacious. HOWEVER, Two things: - it was strange to me that paper cups only were available. I would have preferred a microplastic-free coffee. - I grabbed some almond milk for my coffee and I hear something blob into my cup (I want to think that it's just the milk sitting out there for too long).

Worse if you are in a hurry and driving somewhere. Forget getting butter on that bagel! The whole idea behind having take out is you TAKE IT OUT AND EAT IT! Some places will, if you remember to ask, butter your bagel BEFORE packing it away but it is hit or miss. I've sort of given up on this and I don't even remember if they let you ask on the kiosk anymore. This seems to be a corporate directive and I've complained to corporate who seems to not care one bit. Every blasted Panera I go to does the same thing with the only variance seeming to be the hard as a rock butter vs maybe a bit softer butter. I mean even if you wanted to butter than bagel you really can't because the butter is solid and impossible to spread. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS PANERA! BTW, the staff here is great. This isn't a knock against them just the way Panera corporate trains everyone. I will say this is a newer location and I sometimes feel they are still finding their way here. If I had one comment for the staff is they could engage with the customers a bit more, the contrast between this location and the Vestal location is astounding. Those serving from where they are prepping food are great and seem efficient. The ones standing out front seemingly couldn't care less if you were there and almost never say hello or welcome you in the morning. P.S. Kudos for opening at 6AM.
