I was there on Valentine's Day, and they were slammed but had enough staff on the floor for it; the food was quick as usual and everyone was still very friendly. I also love the atmosphere here. The building is one of the converted houses on 4th St, and there are different dining rooms, some with lots of windows, all filled with interesting decor, and there's also a very nice patio during the warmer seasons. The only problem here is, unless there's a back entrance I don't know about, I don't think the building is wheelchair accessible; you have to go up a few stairs to get to the main entrance.

There was no 20-minute wait this time (I guess they were less busy) but it was the same vibe. There might be better Chinese places within greater Bloomington, but sometimes location convenience (this place was minutes way) is the key restaurant choice factor. There is also one interesting quirk with Dragon Chinese Restaurant in that they don't accept credit cards in person, but did when we ordered over the phone. We ordered a wide variety of dishes, including my favorite (Kung Pao Chicken), plus egg and spring roles. Everyone got what they wanted, with sharing encouraged. Food quality was very good and better than my average Chinese restaurant experiences. The portions were also generous and enough to feed the family for Lunch the next day.
