Realy thought this location was gonna be a tough sell for me just because of how close it is to that chicken place where they also happen to serve some incredible salads too but despite all that I gotta say this excellent business chain never disappoints. And the fact is Chopt has quickly become one of my favorite Salad spots with all it's super fresh locally and responsibly sourced ingredients. Add to that the fact that their premium Salads are never boring and loaded with combinations that you get to customize to your own individual likes, c'mon what's not to like about this place right? My usual go-to meal is based on variations of their Mexican Caesar Salad but I've been wanting to try something different so I took a look at their menu board. I decided to go with one of their seasonal options, Chili Lime Caesar Salad: with Aji Verde, Chipotle Chicken, Croutons, Queso Fresco, Red Bell Peppers, Pickled Red Onion, Romain, Cabbage, and Cilantro Blend. Take it from me it's tangy, spicy, delicious, and nutritious plus it really filled me up. I almost didn't have enough room for the Brownie [Almost]  Lol Come And Get Your Munch On!! read more

Placed an online order so it would be an easier pickup, but unfortunately it wasn't the case. Got there and my boyfriend went in to get the food, he asked for the order and they said they were making it, but then realized that they had given our food to the wrong person; this led to us having to wait 10 extra minutes for them to get us our food. Now, my boyfriend had asked for heavy dressing on his wrap, yet the guy who made it put barely any dressing on it. I had asked for braised chicken instead of chicken tinga on my bowl, yet when I started eating it I realized they gave me chicken tinga, which i do not like. Both the bowl and wrap were mediocre in comparison to places who have a similar business model. I had decided to give this place a try instead of going to Just Salad, and I regret doing so. read more

Our first time here and we were excited to try it out. We are on a salad kick lately for health reasons. We were the only ones in the restaurant. We were not greeted at all as we stood in front of counter. No hello, no smile, nothing. Finally we were acknowledged, told the employee it was our first time there and still nothing, straight face, seemed annoyed and bothered. There was another employee and same bad attitude. The salads were good, but unfortunately, absolutely will not be returning! read more

I'm not a huge salad person, but my wife is. She had been to Chopt with the kids and wanted me to try it. This past week, we stopped in on a Thursday night. The location is in a shopping center with a huge parking lot. The first thing I noticed is that this place was very clean with lots of seating. You can order wraps, bowls, or salads, and customize with all the ingredients laid out in front. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Ranch Salad and my wife had the Blissful Harvest Bowl. I have to say, the salad was very good! It was also huge! It had a little spice to it and the chicken was tasty. My wife substituted kale with arugula and added cauliflower rice to her bowl. While I say I'm not a huge salad guy, this place was very good. I've been to other salad franchises and this one has been the best. Very friendly service too! read more

Came here with a few co-workers with the idea of getting a healthy lunch. The counter person scooped all of my voices into a large bowl and then, before I could even say now- dumped everything and started chopping it up into a big cole-slaw looking mess. I wish that I'd have known what was going to happen or I would have stayed out with "don't chop my salad." Annoying texture aside, the salad was okay- but waaaay too expensive for what you got. read more

Ordered: Kale Caesar Wrap (~$10): with panko fried chicken (+$3), kale & romaine, aged parmesan, crispy shallots (instead of croutons), and creamy Caesar dressing Aya's take: What a redemption from Chopt! My first experience was seriously lacking but I swung by this time to try the Kale Caesar Wrap. I added panko fried chicken which was a great move, and again it wasn't crispy or well-breaded (so I'm assuming that's just how they make it?). The wrap was super filling and I loved the crispiness from the shallots. It was a nice substitution from the croutons which would've made this a bit too heavy for me. They also gave me creamy Caesar dressing on the side but since it was already coated well in every bite, I didn't even need it. Super satisfying and definitely recommend giving this a try! read more

The experience was bit nerve wracking because I'm not sure how exactly it works but the young man took good care of me & was very patient taking my order. I wish I knew his name to give him a proper shoutout. The salad was really good and the ambiance is very relieving due to the light colors and light colored dining tables. read more

Looove their wraps. Service was a bit slow but I'm gonna blame corporate for that. Seems understaffed as they had one gentleman having to do everything. He was working hard and super nice, just wish they would properly staff the stores read more

Nice choices. Fresh bowls. Interesting combinations. We like this place. It's different.

I wasn't super impressed with my experience at Chopt. Salads are pricey! A preset bowl is around $12 or $13 and doesn't include too many toppings. To add on additional toppings is 80 cents per topping, so prices can get pretty hefty if you add on a few things. And for the price my salad barely had any toppings or chicken. It was mostly just a bowl of lettuce. My husband and I also both ordered bread with our salad and didn't get any. Chick-fil-a (right next door) makes a great salad with so much chicken / toppings, so it'd be tough to consider getting from Chopt again in the future. read more

This was my first time ever trying Chopt and upon walking in,I was the only person in there other than one other sitting down already eating. I stood at the counter for 2 minutes before even being acknowledged. Once i was finally acknowledged I was asked if I was picking up. I told them i was looking to order and she just pointed to the salad toppings area. I then walked down there and waited another 2-3 minutes for someone to come and help me. The man who helped me was absolutely rude. The salad, which I paid $19.96 for, was mediocre at best. I didn't even finish it because it was so bland. Safe to say I won't be back. read more

A bright, clean interior; TVs with rotating menus at a legible height; lots of indoor seating for ample social distancing options; and online pickup shelves that are easy to spot from the entrance. Chopt is a fast casual restaurant concept that combines standard menu items, seasonal specials, and a huge variety of fresh salad fixings for those who want just to commission their own salad. I've loved the flavors at the one in Florham Park, and this one is much closer to me. I deeply appreciate the easy-to-find calorie counts on every menu choice, and the ability to vary how much dressing is in my salad. On days when I want to treat myself, every salad is available as a wrap too. They use containers of recycled materials for their salads, and they offer complimentary bread with each order. It's too bad that parking is not easy. With the opening of the Uncle Giuseppe's grocery next door, the lot is packed seemingly round the clock. read more

Best salad I have ever had! Fresh crunchy and perfect salmon! Now I need one up in Sussex county!

Here's the deal: Chopt is always consistent with fresh quality salads! This location is a great addition to the area. Base salad is $10-11. The protein and or avocado add on can make the dose closer to $15.00. I do feel the salads are Big enough to share or save for next day! It's a go to place for a very good salad!!! read more

Great salads, fresh ingredients and friendly staff. Just opened near where I work. Beautiful restaurant. Used to go to florham park but this place is closer and I can park on the Side and pick up my Togo order from the big shelf. Nowadays they give you a massive salad which is a good bang for your buck. I get the Cobb salad and switch out the grilled chicken for fried chicken and get 2 dressings on the side. My wife usually eats the other half if I can't finish it. read more

Really wanted to love the salad but was not too fond of the meat option. It looked precooked and out of a bag meat. Many of the options were all mixed in together. I just felt that turned me off. The dressing was good but could not taste the protein or avocado in the bowl. read more

Salads were great , Service was great , Place was nice & clean. I had a very good experience here at chopt. The staff was awesome and made me feel super comfortable here. The only thing I didn't like about my visit here is that there's no way to give a tip to the workers that worked so hard and took care of me. I feel like in 2022 everyone should be able to be tipped. I will definitely be back thou & I hope the tip system at chopt is fixed cause the service there is GREAT ! read more

Chopt Creative Salad Co. - My favorite part is watching the salads do a Live mix in front of me. - Salad Near Me - Morris Plains, New Jersey

Extremely happy that an alternative to fast foods has suddenly appeared in Morris Plains. I loved my salads chopped small and the quality, freshness and variety made us order two nights in one week. The dressings are delightful and the chicken is delish as well. Try it once, you will not be sorry. Prices are not cheap but we ate it for two days so in the end it was well worth what it cost. read more

Don't do it...$15 bowl of lettuce. Salad was supposed to have chicken and avocado...sparse chicken and not an avocado in sight. So many other options nearby (deli's, etc.) that are heavy with the proteins and other accoutrements. Really underwhelming and feeling ripped off. Definitely not going back and vehemently oppose anyone else wasting their money here... read more

This is a relatively new spot in the area. I came in because I was craving a salad. The workers were really nice and assisted me with all of my questions. I enjoy having access to fresh ingredients. I created my own salad because I didn't see a salad that accommodated my pescatarian needs. You get 4 free ingredients not including the lettuce and everything after is an additional charge. The first couple times I created my salad I added grilled shrimp, the shrimp unfortunately was not grilled it seemed more boiled. So the third time I went, I didn't get any shrimp. My salad was still very delicious and a great portion. It left me full and satisfied. read more

I wasn't expecting much with this place as I thought it would be just a healthier Chipotle but I was pleasantly surprised! I got the Mediterranean Warm Bowl and had some chopped Romain added to it. It was bursting with fresh flavors, I especially like the dressing. Plus the portion size was more then adequate. The staff was also great. Even though it was busy the manager took the time to talk to the people on line to ask them if they had any questions about the menu. Great lunch experience over all. I will most definitely be back! read more

I like the concept, but I personally am not a fan. I ordered a build your own salad, with romaine, beets, goat cheese, apples and chicken. For $15 after taxes, this salad was 99.9% lettuce, which was completely wilted. There were literally 3 TINY pieces of chicken, and 2 small chunks of goat cheese - I counted. I couldn't locate the beets or apples...you're better off ordering salads from a local pizzeria. I'll give more than 1 star because the dressing was delicious, but they only give you about a 2 tablespoons worth when you order it on the side. read more

I am Highly Disappointed. After coming here for years, my Wife and I ordered two salads. We both waited over an hour. The service was terrible. One dude with glasses had his rainbow underwear showing, doing online orders. The kid helping us gave my Wife half the bowl and a bread the size of a quarter. Despite waiting, I was asked if was ordering anything when I was clearly next In line. 22$ on kids meals literally. read more

Love Chop't with their selection and freshness. Had their Cobb Salad with buttermilk ranch, but switched out the blue cheese.

Went to Chopt today for the first time & I was pleasantly impressed. The staff was very nice and welcoming and there were a lot of unique options on the menu. Easy stop off the highway and loved ordering online so our salads were ready as soon as we arrived. Plenty of parking in the shopping center and lots of space to eat inside or outside. Also convenient that there's a water station easily accessible to diners. Typical Chopt, salads were exactly as ordered. They forgot the bread but I'm sure would have given us some if we'd asked, but the salads were more than enough. read more

Eat here if you want to be sick for the rest of the day. Not only did I get sick but my friend got sick as well.
