A welcomed addition to the Parsippany area! It's great to see the expanding variety of cuisines on 46. We walked in, the workers were very sweet and welcoming. The place is very clean and gives plenty of room for socially distanced dining. We ordered the mixed gyro, spicy chicken sandwich with a side of medium fries and onion rings. The food was delicious! It was made fresh and quickly. The gyro had a good balance of meats, lettuce tomatoes and onions. Usually places will have very little and poorly seasoned meat- not the case here. The chicken sandwich was crispy and spicy. The fries were awesome! Huge box for medium fries. They may be replacing some of our usual spots for sandwiches and gyros.

being a fan of gyro and 'NYC chicken over rice'- decided to give it a try. though it was late, we called and asked for closing time- it was 11 PM. we were the only ones in there. there is a Bangladeshi couple who run this restaurant and they were very courteous. We ordered- Chicken over rice - Chicken was too red (too much color while mixing?), and my friend did not like it much. Chicken + lamb platter Falafel over rice Lamb over rice - and chicken wings - too salty all platter/ rice plate- it was good except meat portion was less, and why they have cut in tiny pieces. rice-salad side- it was good, but I am still not sure why meat was less on my platter. my expectation was something else. I was disappointed with the portion. yeah, you can try if you want. for me, it's 3/5

I was thrilled to see a new Halal platter restaurant open in the area, so I stopped in for lunch today. Unfortunately the moment I stepped inside I got a bad vibe. There was nobody there. Nobody eating. Nobody behind the counter. Nobody was even in the kitchen (which is in full view). Also, there was no smell of food or cooking. The grill and gyro spit where both empty and showed no sign of recent use. The serving area in front, which contained what I assumed where the ingredients for either the platters or sandwiches, looked like something from a failing Subway franchise. After yelling a quick "hello?" a nice lady emerged from the back. I was ready to head out the door, but I was honestly curious about the empty kitchen and absence of any cooking food, or even a cook. This was the middle of what should be the height of their lunch service. I asked her if they had the gyro platter, which is what I originally had hoped to order, mentioning that I didn't see anything on the gyro spit. She stepped to the side and retrieved a bucket of meat from a small food warmer, and explained it was all premade, and they reheat it. Clearly, it had not been prepared recently; the kitchen was spotless and there wasn't even a lingering essence in the air of food being cooked. I said thank you and departed. Frankly, the only thing saving Halal Platter King from a 1 star rating is I didn't actually eat anything and the lady was nice. If I see more positive reviews maybe I'll give them another shot.

First time coming here. Ordered the Chicken and Rice Platter. I think the food was pretty good. I would have liked more of the salad fixings, but other than that the food had good taste and just the right amount of spice. I would come back again and try other things.

The chicken wings had a good crisp, the side salad I asked for was fresh, the cheese steak roll was pillowy soft and was nicely cheesy, and most importantly, the gentleman behind the bar who took our order was a fantastically nice guy The cons. The garlic parm sauce on the wings were a bit lacking and the amount of meat on the cheese steak was only half enough to really fill that long roll. And the most irksome thing was the 2,23 % "technology fee". No offense but WTH is that?????? If it was to use the credit card, it wasn't explained at all. We were discussing burgers yesterday and Habit came up. I'd never eaten at one. He wanted one. Perfect. Pulls in at 8:45, takes a few minutes to figure out the ordering kiosk. I will therefore note this is an issue to anticipate. The order itself didn't seem to take too long. As for what came home with my friend: * Intrigued by the dragonfruit limeade. Would be something to keep in mind if I find myself at Habit again. * I enjoyed my burger. The patty was the weakest part, very plain and underwhelming. But the portabello mushroom and associated toppings? Mwah. That all made the sandwich. But the best burger places know how to make the meat score points. * My friend got the tempura green beans. Apparently those were just OK, maybe not tempuraed enough. I noticed when looking at the sides, every dipping sauce costs money besides ketchup packets (m'eh) and none of them really looked that interesting to me. So the upsides? Good value, tasty mushrooms. The downsides? Limited selections, uninspiring burger meat. I'll call it a strong 3 stars and if I do end up here (or another Habit) I will reconsider.

I remember it being an all-white plain fast food place, similar to the vibe of Five Guys. Well, this one's different, and maybe that's why it's one of the few Fudds still around. Much classier inside, wood paneled and amber lit. There's a back room for large parties or extra seating, or a cozy up-front section with comfy benches. Warning: the benches are low. Second warning: Fudds is still a place where you enter, walk up and order, and wait for your food. No table service. Some things don't change. Like the value. I ordered an ultimate bacon grilled cheese burger. Subbed elk and the price barely went up for that dark, meaty flavour. Ordered rare, they advised that they can't go below medium rare. Understood, and I went to wait. And wait. I could tell they make things fresh to order, and with a large 6-person order that came out just before mine, I'm sure that was the bulk of the wait. Burger arrived, I threw my veggies on for nutrition, some onion petal sauce for the fries (yup, just what you'd want to dip your onion rings into), and for good measure added cheese sauce to the four cheeses on the burger. Why not. Verdict: What a glorious burger Fudds makes. Even though they missed my request for a bun instead of the default Texas Toast - again, maybe thrown off by the large order before me - still delicious from beginning to end. The meat was indeed nice and dark pink inside, something most burgers fail to achieve. Deep rich elk taste throughout validated my upgrade. The fries are also top-notch - thick cut, seasoned well, and most importantly, unlimited! I went back for thirds, tried some different sauces each time, discovered the Cholula on the third attempt and realized I should have been slathering my food in that the whole time. But, with that, this was an incredibly long-overdue return, and I promise it won't be twenty-*mumble* something years before the next. I am so glad that not only has Fudds survived, but they've saved a location most convenient to me.

Our order of onion rings was quite expensive and we only got 7, very small rings. This was not enough for me and my husband to share as we had planned. The fries arrived soggy, but the cheese sauce was tasty at least. The burgers similarly seemed to have corners cut. The lettuce and tomato barely covered half the burger, and the burger was falling apart when it arrived. Since it was already falling apart, we decided to disassemble it and re-heat it, as it was cold. There was also no option to add pickles, which I would have appreciated. Because I got a fat sandwich, not a burger. But what a great menu variety to choose frome! It's the tastiest fat sandwich I ever had. It actually looked skinny when it showed up on the tray, but it turned out to be much deeper bread to compensate. Very high quality ingredients and seasoning compared to the infamous food trucks. My friend and I agreed that the fries are excellent, nice and crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. However, I regret to inform you that Cheese Fries are really Cheez Fries, without actual cheese on them. (I bet I could order that... for an additional fee. The 50 cent upcharge looked too good to be true.) So now, the unfortunate reasons the 4 stars has dropped to a 3. First, I agree with what many others have said here - this is the wrong environment for Denville. You're walking into an industrial setting. The raised roof reveals some rough edges to the top of the bathroom and above the kitchen, both of which feature various objects stored on those tops. Really poor design unless you're a test kitchen. And design alone wouldn't be enough to deduct a star, except the service was a bit of an issue. There were only two staff present, and they were both cooks, which means one of them had to stop cooking every time a customer had a request. Service was still fairly quick and friendly, but I really can't think of another time I have experienced something like this. One star will be given back with either of the above reductions fixed. If all is fixed... I will come back, order an actual burger with actual (upcharged) cheese on my fries, and reconsider.
