I went to the grand opening to try their chicken sandwich. They were only serving chicken sandwiches and fries that day. When we went there was a line out the door. When you go in, it was an empty space and just the counter. Maybe this is done on purpose for the event, but would be nice to have some tables and chairs for people to dine in after ordering. The menu and advertisements had inconsistent typos. The chicken sandwich (aka smackwich) wasn't bad. Good portion of chicken, coleslaw, and sauce to give it a good balanced flavor. The fries were standard. The price is comparable to JC prices. You can choose your preferred spice level. We got mild and it was true to taste. I forgot to take a picture of the food, my bad! I recommend if going, getting 2 smackwiches with fries is probably the best value deal they have.

Stopped by on Sunday afternoon to check out the opening of Parsippany's newest addition to our already diverse and fantastic food scene; Saprize Saprize. (As you've probably already figured out the name is a fun misspelling of Surprise Surprise). Quite a turnout, as the lines were long as everyone eagerly awaited their free, introductory Saprise Saprise sandwich. Always a great idea by a new business! We do have a couple of relatively new Hot Chicken joints that have opened in Parsippany, but they all offer a different take on this growing, popular menu. Saprize Saprizre is Chicken and Mediterranean fusion take out, small counter top eatery (no tables) that blends Nashville heat and Mediterranean flavors. Basically a halal/ Mediterranean street food. Besides the aforementioned hot chicken sandwich, the menu included such choices as chicken & gyro platters, falafel & salads, rice platters with spiced meats, and more. Plenty of parking in the Greenhill Plaza on Parsippany road. Best of luck and success to this new addition to Parsippany. 93/29/2026

Beautiful... Was there at the grand opening. Free food was free and delicious. It was a big line and the line was going fast.

Lamb, chicken, falafels, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, rice. So much and so yummy!

Saprize Saprize is a big surprising variety of absolutely delicious middle eastern food. The prices are reasonable which is rare these days. The service was great and the vibe is awesome. Great place to stay and eat. You will not be disappointed

The restaurant is located in a small strip mall on Rt 46 East in Parsippany. I've heard the chicken cutlet sandwiches were very good here, but I was in the mood for meatballs. The meatball sandwich was unbelievable! Loaded with meatballs on toasted bread with a delicious sauce, I loved it! There were so many meatballs, I had to eat some before I could eat the sandwich. The guy working behind the counter was very friendly. There were quite a few tables and it clearly looked like a lot of "regulars" here. I'm really glad I finally stopped here. If you're looking for some great Italian food, stop by!

Decided to try this spot out for lunch when I was craving a sandwich. The setting is basic, actually totally different than what I expected. Lands somewhere between a sandwich spot and grandma's Italian eatery. I'm always excited, so maybe that was off-putting to the guy behind the middle of the room counter, but who cares- I ordered two of the most gigantic, delicious fresh tasting sandwiches- I've had in forever. Go get you one.

Lunch panic averted -- and what a find!…read more I didn't bring lunch to work and was deep in the "what am I going to eat?" struggle when The Great Wazu popped up in my search. I'll admit, seeing that it was primarily a sandwich shop made me hesitate since I need gluten-free options. But I was thrilled to see they offer gluten-free bread -- and even more relieved when I spoke to the incredibly kind server who walked me through their celiac protocol. As someone who worries about cross-contamination, that conversation alone put me at ease. I originally planned to grab something quick and rush back to work, but I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the place is. For a strip mall location in Parsippany, there's actually plenty of seating, and the atmosphere feels welcoming and comfortable. Bonus: tons of parking, which is always appreciated. The menu has so many tempting options -- sandwiches, wraps, salads, chips, sweet treats, and beverages. Once I saw they had gluten-free bread, I may have gotten a little carried away and ordered two sandwiches: the Walnut Cranberry Chicken Salad and the Italiano. No regrets! Both were generously portioned and packed with flavor. I was especially impressed that they use four slices of gluten-free bread per sandwich -- which is thoughtful since GF slices tend to be smaller. For the price, that extra effort really stood out. I also grabbed a side of coleslaw and their homemade potato salad -- both fresh, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the sandwiches. Friendly service, great gluten-free awareness, generous portions, and lots of variety -- I'm so glad I found this spot. I'll absolutely be back to work my way through more of the menu.

Sandwich was solid. Tried the roast beef insanity which was popular on yelp. Sandwich was under $15 and was fairly substantial. Easily enough for me. Several tables inside. Its located in a place with ample parking.

The young man that charged our order was the sweetest and served everyone with a smile. I wanted to taste Pierogis as I always heard about them so I ordered a variety of them with sour cream. They reminded me of steamed Chinese Dumplings but with different fillings...beef, cheese, mushroom & sauerkraut, cheese & potato. My favorite was the potato & cheese. Hubby had an amazing fresh & huge Chicken Cutlet sandwich...yummy! Last the prices are truly reasonable.

This place has been a go-to neighborhood deli for years, and it's easy to see why. It's a quaint spot that's built its reputation on consistently fresh, high-quality sandwiches and genuinely great service. People in town don't just like it, they respect it. It's one of those places locals will recommend without hesitation, and once you go, you get it. This is a small, classic deli where you order, grab your food, and go. Honestly, that's part of the charm. It feels authentic in the best way possible. Just a solid, well-run spot that focuses on doing one thing really well: making incredible sandwiches. Everything tastes fresh, the portions are generous, and the quality is exactly what you want from a true Jersey deli. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Places like this are getting harder to find, and Longfellow's has managed to stay a staple in the Morristown community for a reason. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's 100% worth the stop.
