My husband is a big fan of this and like every week, we come here for our lunch. and we have a fixed order- adana & chicken adana (Combo one-called lunch special) it serves one soup, Hummus, Salad & Drink with the main course the quantity is good for a single person. lamb Adana platter for lunch- one of the most flavorful meals. The Service from the beginning was OUTSTANDING. Very pleasant, and prompt, and we never ran out of water which is AWESOME. They were always checking on us, clearing plates, asking us if we needed anything. It was really really great. You can tell they take a lot of care to make sure their clients are happy. The atmosphere is really beautiful. Everything is really clean and warm and inviting.

Shepherd's Salad

Got take out that looked as good as it does when you eat in. Got a shepherd's salad and a mixed grill that came with brown rice, warm pitas and 2 different sauces 1 hot and the other cucumber creamy.

My favorite Mediterranean restaurant. It was a special day, and I brought my friend. Got the table, settled, and ordered the below items Baba ghanoush: this time instead of hummus, went with baba ghanoush. A mix of eggplant, Yogurt - comes with Pita pieces of bread - great, 4.5/5 Garlic Butter Shrimp: so recently I had this item in one of the Argentinian restaurants, there they just serve 6-7 shrimp sauteed in butter and spinach - that's it. Here in Bosphorus - it's small shrimp, full of spices and salad at the side. sumptuous And then our favorites. Adana kebab And chicken Adana Comes with rice and salad. Would recommend, start eating as soon it lands on your table. It tastes great when it's hot. It's on skewers, properly cooked with spices, it's juicy, melting in the mouth- it's too good. Service was good, lovely, cute restaurant, staffs are very friendly and will answer all of your questions patiently. Lovely meal. 4.5/5

Kunefe

So thankful a buddy took me here when visiting him in Parsippany. Bosporus' Shepard Salad was truly delicious! And the portions! Was two meals for me and the kunefe was flaky, honey, cheesy greatness as a dessert. Prices were very reasonable and the service was was great also. 10/10 would recommend.

Great find! Cute place with a friendly and welcoming staff. The food is so good. The Ezme is different than at any other place I've tried before- bursting with a zesty flavor and texture, it has a tangy spicy taste. Served with toasted pita bread, it's delicious. The grilled chicken and lamb platter is served with rice, sautéed purple cabbage and salad. Highly recommend.

I must say I will forever wonder whether they make the bread in house or not. Look at all those holes. So evenly spaced. Is that a bread formatting roller or... I can't even imagine. I will note that the bread here is not really worth it, which is unfortunately the star that breaks the camel's back because the rest of the food is worthy. (I was here with people so did not have a chance to photo more of it). I tried the beyti kebab because it is not a menu item I've ever seen elsewhere. Something different! A nice change of spice from the usual kebab selections elsewhere (like adana), so clearly they are authentic with their spices. They were willing to bring it out with a hot pepper to go with (the spiciest they could get was just that little bite, but it's something) and there was a lot of very tasty food between the meet, veggies, and rice. Desserts are excessively pricy unfortunately and service was a little too slow to justify staying for that as well. I have to say, I appreciate homemade food and delicious entree, so 4 stars wins the day, but there are little bits to work out and do please do something about the bread... hot and fresh is best!

Not what I ordered

Get this all the time. New lady on phone messed my order up and gave me chicken gyro instead of lamb gyro. Called to make things good and she didn't seem to care at all. I normally don't try other places and stay loyal to one place but you guys lost a customer today. The taziki sauce was all water with no flavor today to. The pieces of chicken are so dry. I don't think the A team was working today. Very disappointed and most likely won't be back for a long time. Pizza for dinner tonight I guess

Me and my wife came all the way from Queens New York to try this place. The owner and servers are well professioned in their job. The food was amazing we ordered Kibbeh (must try), cop shish kebab and combinations. Food was well cooked and delicious taste. I will definitely return back to this place again. Also, the outdoor seating is perfect like inside.

Kunefe (small, $7.25)

I've had this place saved in my collections for a few days and today we finally decided to order delivery via GrubHub from here. We went with the mixed grill w/ the gyro ($29.95) and a small kunefe ($7.25). The mixed grill comes with a combination of shish, adana, meatballs (kofte), chicken or gyro. Kunefe is a scrumptious dessert with cheese - if you've never tried, you HAVE to have it at least once. Let me tell you - THE PORTIONS ARE HUGE! We shared both of the items and still have some left for tomorrow. The delivery was VERY FAST and the speed honestly caught me by surprise. The meat was very well seasoned, juicy (not dry at all), and DELICIOUS. The kunefe, as I said before, is AMAZING. The small was more than enough for 2 people to share and they have an option to order a large one. OVERALL, the service was extremely fast. The food was all delicious AND the portions are very big. I recommend this place 100%!

Amazing. Go here. Seriously, I don't have to say a word past that. The employees were all great. They loved doing there job, made recommendations, enjoyed making me try new things. The food that came out was seasoned perfectly. Try anything and everything on the menu. The jalapeño hummus was great. They will make it with more or less spice. As you like it. I also had a spicy pepper side dish. It was great to add it to my meal. The chicken and lamb dish for the main meal was so tasty. THis place is a great find. It's small and you may need reservations but definitely worth it.

My mom and I enjoyed our food from start to finish.

She is remarkably accommodating, patient, and attentive. I had a few questions about the menu and some specific dietary preferences, and Susan went above and beyond to make sure my order was perfect. Her warm personality and efficient service truly elevate the entire dining experience. As for the food, the shawarma was seasoned perfectly, juicy, and packed with flavor. I have to say, this is by far the best Shawarma in NJ! The ingredients were fresh, and the portions were generous. Between the top-tier food and Susan's exceptional hospitality, I highly recommend Amin's Shawarma.

I ordered the chicken shawarma and fried fish platter, falafel balls, and banana pudding. I basically judge a place based on their falafel and these were SO good! The platters were giant portions and I ate the food over 2 days. The service was great, the woman running the front was honest and said the food would take a while because they were really busy, but she made it within 15-20 min so it felt just right. And whoa, that banana pudding is one of the BEST I've ever had! Small eat in area as well, but probably more of a pick up/takeout spot. Either way, Amin's is a win!!

The two times I've been in, they've brought out samples of thier menu items to try. They have a decent sized dining area for dine-in, and the take-out area is right as you walk in the side door. Here you will also find a grocery area with Lebanese essentials. The selection is sizable, and offers items you won't find in a regular grocery store. I stocked up on spices, and coffee. Prices are reasonable, and portions are generous. Luckily, a table had just opened up, and as a result, we feasted on the Moroccan cigars (very good), and the outrageously delicious flatbread (with three of the five mezze options). Our selected mezze options were the labneh, spicy feta, and the tzatziki. All were delicious, but the labneh stood out the most. I love labneh. The flatbread was served fresh out of the oven with a drizzle of oil and condiments. It was moist, aromatic, and steamy. Weeks later, I am still thinking about that damn bread. Yum. Since it was my first time, a friend and I shared the Nazareth lamb kebab potpie and the black angus ribeye shawarma. Both were tasty and the portions were substantial. Other friends had the Moroccan style halibut and the charcoal grilled ribeye skewer. The skewer was extra impressive because the skewer...was a SWORD. Everybody enjoyed their meal. With limited space in our bellies, we pushed forward by sharing the kunefe with pistachio. The thing about me is I can't say no to anything containing pistachio. I loved it just as much as the flatbread. 10/10 Overall, I was impressed. The flavors at Esh were enticing and the ambiance is trendy enough. A word to the wise: Esh serves what I imagine folks enjoy regularly in the Middle East for a fraction of the cost. When you visit, be prepared to spend $100+ PP. Fairfield isnt the Middle East, it's Connecticut.
