I gotta say I really do love Smashburger! Some locations are better than others, and I have found that for this one, dine-in food is much better quality than if you take it to go. I always get their Colorado burger as a single with their smash fries on the side. This time, since I took it to go, it was a bit greasier than when I've had it at the restaurant, and the fries weren't as crispy. The service is always good since they're pretty quick with getting the burgers out . This location has a lot of seating booths, and some nice TVs where you can watch sports if they're on. read more

Foods pretty good and consistent. Burgers are tasty and fries were fresh. Place seemed relatively clean for a burger spot. Quick service and nice people at the store. This is my second time coming here on a Wednesday when kids eat free and we purchased adult meals and kids meals. I even asked the guy about the Wednesday kids program because they changed me last time and said they couldn't change it, and the guy confirmed. Pretty Solid Smash Burger although I still can't believe I like a place where they squeeze all the juicy goodness right outta their patties but for some strange reason I just do. The shop is located in a strip mall with the Target and Michaels. Clean, and two unisex bathrooms are a nice touch. I ordered ahead of time on the website and the service had it ready right away when I wanted to pick it up. Quick and easy from that perspective. The truffle mushroom Swiss Burger was excellent still, plenty of truffle flavor. However they seem to have changed the fries when I ordered smash fries which still had the excellent salt and truffle flavor, but now they're more regular fries instead of being the thin shoe string and that made them a lot harder to eat as the inside no longer had much flavor. That's disappointing, I hope that is an exception and not the new way of doing fries. read more

Don't like my burgers smashed.Don't understand why anyone would want such a mutilation of a burger.

We have been by here a few times with some people. Everyone always enjoys their meal. Whenever we come by, the staff at the counter is always pleasant and accommodating. Indoor and outdoor seating ( love the outdoor seating with umbrellas too nice touch - ) The burgers and Chicken fingers are always good, and fries - especially those smash fries - yum. I can't wait to try their version of the onion rings soon, too. The place is always clean and has napkins and condiments always on the indoor tables. I never used to like sweet potato fries until a recent encounter and have been craving them A LOT. Not a lot of places make sweet potato fries, and when they do, they don't always taste good. But Smashburger makes AMAZING sweet potato fires! I usually order 2 orders of them and they're gone within minutes. Don't get me wrong though, their smash fries are amazing too with the unique seasoning blend they use but I'm just so happy that there's a place in the area that serves delicious sweet potato fries at a convenient location and affordable price! Also as an edit to my last review, the burgers don't taste as salty as I had mentioned and they have also recently switched out of using plastic container packaging for their burgers. The service at this place is always amazing! The staff is always pleasant! I mean they really act like they are truly happy to see me! They normally have the games on and have a few hugee flat screen TVs on both ends of the dinning area. I love the burgers and chicken fingers! Didn't even get the chance to order and eat. Walked in to chaos of construction. Tables upside down. TV not working with the menu. I asked for a paper menu because I've never been here & have no idea what they even offer. Nope didn't have that. As I was coldly told by a manager. My son orders a burger. Today, I tried this new-to-me shop and was greeted by Steve. He was friendly and, since I wanted both an eat in burger and a take out chicken, he was very accommodating too. A second Smashburger review. This location actually used to be a Five Guys, but when Five Guys moved a couple miles east down Rt 46, Smashburger jumped in...and I'm so glad. As I said in my other Smashburger review if you look at my Burger joint list, I've tried a lot of burgers...and I really love a good burger. And Smashburger gives me burgers to love. What THIS location showed me is how well each location sustains the consistency of the franchise. I still do like Five Guys, but I think Smashburger simply makes a superior burger. I LOVE the very fresh toppings they use, especially using fresh, bright green jalepenos, fresh lettuce, delicious tomatoes. Smashburger's regular and sweet potato fries are SO much better than the pile of oily fries Five Guys dumps into your bag. Yeah, you definitely get MORE fries at Five Guys, but they aren't as good in my opinion. Do I need to mention again that Smashburger's shakes are AWESOME? Ok, I just did...A burger joint that doesn't offer shakes is simply not providing you with a great burger experience...they just go together. Peanut butter and jelly, steak and potatoes, Burgers and Shakes...perfect together. This was by far the worst service at a Smashburger location. I ordered online and food was not ready, which is understandable. I then waited for 25 minutes while the staff stood around, not helping other customers. After 15 minutes, I asked how much longer. The one staff member went in the back and when they came out, never told me how much longer. As I continued to wait, the staff stood around. Other customers seemed just as frustrated as I was. The milkshake and fries were great. They use real ice cream for the shakes - not that thickener crap MCD's uses. The burger, in my opinion, wasn't great. don't see why this chain has such a hardcore following. It's smashed so thin it falls apart, and the seasoning is thicker then the burger. So you get chunks of seasoning. It's really just 80%bread. 10%lettuce/tom/mayo/ketchup. 5% seasoning. 5%burger. I wasn't crazy over the burger, but it just wasn't my kind of thing.
