Chopt in Buckhead is one of those places where I don't even pretend I'm going in to order something simple. LOL. I already know I'm building my salad exactly the way I want it. My usual starts with arugula, romaine, and kale, then I add grilled chicken AND Norwegian salmon because apparently one protein just isn't enough for me. From there it's egg whites, hard-boiled egg, cucumber, grape tomatoes, jalapeños, pickled red onion, red bell peppers, olives, aged Parmesan, feta, crispy shallots, and Parmesan crisps. I have them mix everything with the Creamy Caesar and skip the bread. Yes, by the time I'm finished adding everything it's basically a $28 salad. LOL. But it is HUGE, filling, and has enough going on that I actually feel like I ate a meal and not some sad bowl of lettuce. What I like most about Chopt is being able to customize everything. I want spice, crunch, protein, cheese, vegetables...all of it. And somehow once they chop and mix everything together, every bite has a little bit of everything in it. The Buckhead location is convenient when I'm in the area and want something quick that still feels like an actual meal. Could I build a cheaper salad somewhere else? Absolutely. Would it have my salmon, chicken, two kinds of egg, two cheeses, olives, jalapeños, crispy shallots AND Parmesan crisps? Probably not. read more

I'm a salad freak and I love the premade option they have and the toppings they offer for a day I want to get creative! Staff were so nice and helpful, this is why I'm loving ATL! The place was clean, bright, and offered wifi for our working lunch which was helpful. I had the Mediterranean tahini bowl with brown rice. It was a late lunch so I opt for something a bit on the heavy side so I didn't need dinner and that was the best choice! I've started a new diet based on eating for my blood type, so I've had to find a lot of creative ways to eat fish. I came to this plaza for CAVA but left with Chopt! It's super tasty and flavorful. It's like a buffet line of items to create a salad. I ordered the Norwegian Miso Salmon Salad as-is but added carrots and cucumber. The staff are super friendly and welcoming--they greeted me when I walked in and even asked how my day was going. The inside is quaint and actually pretty big, and there are chairs lining the building outside too. They also offer a military discount! Everything is so fresh! I am reviewing this location because of the amazing customer service and the quality of the food. The service and food quality is always consistently great and the restaurant is always clean. My go to is a bowl or a wrap. The salads, I have heard, are also amazing. I like that they have seasonal features as well, allowing me to try new things on the healthy side. I also like that I can mix my grains with salad when making a bowl and the amount of options to choose from. This is the best CHOPT. They are so patient with my daughters as my 5 and 8 year old pick out their own toppings for their salads. My 8 year old went to another Chopt and said it wasn't as good and refuses to go to any others except for this one now. The inside is clean, food is fresh, and people are friendly. Parking is free. We loved our experience today, as always. I tried the carrot miso dressing today and it was delicious- when I said I hadn't had it before, the gentleman staff member offered me a sample to try, first. They were extremely rude. From the moment we walked in, we were met with eye rolls from what looked like a child. When we asked a simple question, she sucked her teeth at us. This is one of those places that's too healthy for me. Went here on a whim, after ordering my hot donuts from next door, I thought I need balance. I had a kale mixed salad and it was loaded. Chic peas, chicken, tortilla chips, etc. It was alot going on. I did not like it. I feel like it's a place you sacrifice taste to be healthier just to find out it's not even healthy. I came here with my husband for dinner. I got a grains bowl and my husband got the caesar salad. I made a falafel bowl with multiple toppings and then two dressings. Mine was very tasty! The portion was large as well so I have enough to eat again. My husband go the mexican caesar dressing on his salad and it had a. ice little kick to it. When we came in they had a big line all gathered in a clump around four registers numbered 1-4 but it turns out you go all the way to the end to order (there is no sign to order there). Despite there being lots of workers in the back, this is not a friendly place. No one said hello or welcomed us or asked us what we wanted. Very rude and indifferent. The salads are OK but expensive for what you get , and if you want to do a custom one be prepared to pay. Also, you don't control the quantity. You pay by the menu item. You can't say more of this or less of that and then pay by weight. The protein is REALLY SKIMPY! I feel ripped off....AND I'm still hungry! Others in my party felt the same. Also, there is no option for sides, like a roll or soup, so prepare to leave hungry and unsatisfied but $12 poorer per person. Too bad. I had high hopes for this place. read more

They started out so good but quickly declined. Seems each time I ordered last few times there was something wrong. From dressing NOT on side, to completely wrong items, to being handed bag with two salads that had opened up and dumped in the paper bag. then there is the stale bread, and having to search for the chicken in my salad. then the lettuce had some very brown looking chunks of lettuce that was supposed to be green My last visit was today, no more aggravation. TLDR: Find the biggest bowl in your house, add a handful of limp kale, a teaspoon of salad dressing, and mix up your own depressing experience rather than letting Chopt do it for you. Tonight was my first visit to a Chopt and I'm disappointed. My husband and I chose it because we wanted a quick, but healthy meal. The menu looks great and it's cool to be able to see the toppings in front of you but that's the only positive comments I have. The staff didn't greet us or even look at us when asking our order. I had to tell them 3 times that I wanted the Mexican Chicken Soup & it was still left off my order. My husband retold them the type of lettuce he wanted multiple times and the person would reach for something completely different until my husband corrected. The proportions are a joke. My Harvest Bowl didn't even fill half the container and for $15 I expected my husbands salad to be more substantial as well. Also, I didn't even realize this, but most Chopt restaurants cut up the ingredients after you order. Here the ingredients were pre-chopped and already slivered inside their respective containers. I have come to Chopt a few times now and I really like it. I am usually the type of person who does not get excited about salads but this place makes it exciting. I personally like the warm bowls because they have lettuce + mixed grains so they are like a salad but more filling. This time I came for a quick lunch and I got a warm bowl with falafel, carrots, wonton chips, carrots, lettuce, grains, avocado, pickled onions and sesame ginger dressing. It was so tasty! Note that the picture I took is after I ate half of the bowl. The portions are big so I save half of it for home. The price was $12 because I added avocado which is extra charge. You can also order on the go and pay through their website and when you get there you just pick it up. I have tried other salad places and this one is by far my favori They have seasonal salads and warm bowls that change every month as well. I think this is a great place to eat healthy and have a delicious bowl. You can also customize your salad/bowl which is nice. Overall I love Chopt and I hope they open more locations in Atlanta. read more

The product here is amazing, but the service is terrible. I'll start with the good. You walk in, look at the menu and realize that there are so many good choices that it will be a difficult decision. This is my kind of dilemma, one where I know I can't go wrong. I finally decided on the Mexican Caesar Salad and it did not disappoint. The lettuce was delicious, and the dressing was amazing. The warm bowls look really good too. I think I'll try one of them next time. As for the service, the employees just don't seem to care. There are too many of them behind the counter and you don't know who's talking to you or asking you what you want. They just go through the motions and don't want to answer questions or help you out with the menu. It seems like they'd rather be anywhere else. And if you want to make any changes to customize a menu item, you'd think it was the end of the world. I'll probably go back, because the product is just that good. But a little change in the attitude of employees could go a long way towards making this a place I'd go all the time. This place is not cheap for a salad. I'm a big fan of Chopt. Their salads are so good! There are many remade salads to choose from, or you can create your own. Personally, I love the kale caesar salad and I add different things to it to make it my own. Portions are huge! You definitely get your money's worth and the ingredients have always been fresh from my experiences. If you come during rush hour, expect a long line. To avoid this, I decided to place an online, curbside pickup once. I had to wait 15 minutes past my pickup time for my salad and it was missing ingredients. Frustrating. Do not order through their app. I ordered a salad online and arrived early to pick it up via curbside. I counted at least 6 people walk in, orders and leave with their food before I ever received my order. The food was correct but it was mediocre in my opinion. I love the concept and I'll definitely give it another try but I will not be ordering through their curbside EVER again. I've also doordash at this location multiple times.
