I visited Kale Me crazy in East Cobb for the first time and I tried their Power House smoothie. Although requested to leave out the cashews - it did not disappoint! The smoothie was fresh , flavorful, and avocado gave it that smoothness I love in a ... well , smoothie. No pun intended. It tasted like quality ingredients. The location itself is clean , inviting , seemed to be well ( my first visit ) maintained. There's enough seating for the small space indoors and especially outside, which makes it a great spot to relax or enjoy healthy food on the go . Next time I visit I will try a sandwich as well as another smoothie . I didn't realize they offered other options until I stopped by. The cashier was so kind and professional. I had seen this place a few times at a different location and the name caught my attention (I am a sucker for word play). So when I happened to be in the neighborhood of this location and feeling pretty famished, I decided it was time to give it a try. Mind you, this was not a decision I came to lightly because I was borderline hangry and my favorite fast food guilty pleasure, Popeye's, was right across the street. But after a brief battle, the angel on my shoulder defeated the devil and I opted for the wholesome, health-oriented option rather than the greasy goodness that tempts me incessantly. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and grabbed a bottle of sparkling water to wash it down with and a cold-pressed beet juice for later. As soon as I placed my order, I started to wonder if I had made a mistake. If I didn't like the food, I risked regretting my healthier choice even if it was better for me. Luckily, however, that never came to fruition because the quesadilla was really yummy. I really enjoyed the flavors of the feta with the sun dried tomatoes. The beet juice was not really my cup of tea but that is more my personal preference than a knock on its preparation, though I do think $10 is way too much for any cold-pressed drink. I didn't realize how much it was until after I paid for it, but even if I had liked it, I think that price is a bit too hefty for what you get and would not recommend it. We had a great experience when we came here 10 weeks ago! When R suggested that we go to Kale Me Crazy, I made a face at him like he was crazy. Honestly, kale is one of my least favorite vegetables to eat because I don't care for the texture of it at all. Because of the restaurant name, I believed that Kale Me Crazy put kale in everything (or just about everything) that it served up. R goes to restaurants that I really love, but he doesn't, so I guess I could go to Kale Me Crazy one time if he wanted to go there. Kale Me Crazy, a super food cafe, is a soon-to-be national franchised chain of restaurants that support your healthy lifestyle through the use of fresh, organic and raw foods. This location is in Gateway, a mixed use area with other various small businesses nearby. Parking was easy for me to find since there is reserved parking for Kale Me Crazy in front of the store. We walked in, and were immediately greeted with a hello and a smile by one of the employees at the order counter. We told her that this was our first time eating at Kale Me Crazy, and she took the time to tell us what food options were available. After debating in my head what I really wanted, I ordered the Tuna Wrap, which was house-made tuna salad, vegan mayonnaise, olives, carrots, lettuce and sriracha wrapped in a spinach tortilla. R ordered a single Salmon Toast, which was sustainable smoked salmon, avocado, pickled red onions, dill and sprouted bread. During the ten minutes that we had to wait for our food, I took some pics. This place is upscale boutique-ish, very sleek, modern and clean. Windows on the front face of the store allow a lot of natural light inside. Inside, there weren't many tables, and there was a long, high counter (like at a bar) with tall stools where customers sit near the order counter, and a smaller high top table against the glass window. I noticed that many customers order online and make them take out orders. In addition to the dining area inside, there were two tables outside. We sat down at the bar, where the employee served us our food. Presentation was great! The tuna tasted like ... tuna. The carrots and lettuce were fresh and crunchy, and the olives provided added a slight vinegary flavor that went well with the spicy sriracha. R loved his Salmon Toast, and he got a lot of smoked salmon that had a great aroma. Btw, for those of you who love kale, there's kale in the Quinoa Bowl, the Kale Salad and the Vegan Wrap. We will certainly be coming to Kale Me Crazy more often now that I know they don't put kale in everything they make. :-D read more

So I haven't gotten a chance yet to go in person since COVID happened. I actually really discovered this particular location only after. The good thing is they have delivery. The confusing thing to me is the pricing. On the website it shows something else completely different, but when I order for delivery (through Uber eats), the prices seem more inflated. So I'm not sure which one is actually the real current price. Or if I go and pick it up myself will I get a different price. Example is the quinoa bowl, which I love, when I have ordered it for delivery it's been $15.30 and the Power House smoothie is $12. On their website it lists both of those items as $11 and $10. On a positive note, I absolutely have loved everything I've gotten from there. Their smoothies are some of the best I have had anywhere hands down. The avocado toast has been really good. We have also really enjoyed the quinoa bowl and the vegan wrap. Everything is really filling and the portions are very generous and the food tastes so fresh. I could eat there just about everyday but the inflated prices pull me back from doing so and also stop me from giving 5 stars because of the inconsistency of the prices I've seen. I'm never coming hack here again!!! Not when there is competition right around the corner. First, I had only raves about this place. Now, after visiting here many times now I understand why others review are not good. They open at 9am. I arrive at 9:23 and there are no chairs ourtside to sit on and the door is propped open with a chair all ghetto like. I order a acai deluxe bowl to eat there and was given a to go bowl that clearly has less ingredients. I brought this to the attention of Kayla or Taelor (which is what my receipt said) and she assured me that was not the case. Another person also go an acai bowl with a regular dine in bowl. I went over to them and brought her to look at the difference of amount of bananas from mine. Clearly I was correct. The circumference is not the same from a circle to an oblong bowl shape. I'm not a mathematician but I don't have a lack of IQ either. The customer service has been absolutely terrible all around and not customer focused. The smoothies and acai bowl have huge chunks of ice in them. I also asked the girl about the big chunks of ice in my bowl and what I'm supposed to do with that and all she says is she didn't make them. That wasn't my question! Obviously I wasn't looking for a real answer to that but more if an apology for the terrible service I received all around! Also, I see that they are cutting back on ingredients all together by putting less on the plate. When I went to see the other persons normal sized dine in bowl, their bananas were sliced super thin. Looks like they are trying to cut cost and keep more profit. The owners of this place should be very ashamed! What a waste of my money and i left hungry. Never coming back again!! The prices are already astronomical, but that's not my issue. I chose to support KMC yesterday by purchasing a protein smoothie. A small cup for $12!! I then asked the guy making my smoothie if I could have the little bit of left over smoothie mix in the blender in a small cup. His response was ABSOLUTELY NOT...I was very shocked. I said am I not paying for the ingredients used in the smoothie? I should be able to have ALL of the smoothie I paid for. Tropical smoothie allows this all the time. The worker then lets me know that I actually paid for "the cup" lol I can not make this up. This flimsy plastic cup that probably takes LESS than a dollar to make, I paid $12.00 USD for it and not the ingredients in my smoothie. Nevertheless I will never be back to KMC!!!! read more

This was a quick to go lunch for me, and it was an excellent choice! I wasn't super hungry, but I knew I would be if I didn't eat something. I got the deluxe açai bowl, which was very good. I got it with bananas, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. A lot of good flavors, but it was $13, which is steep. If I hadn't been staying in a hotel, this is something I could've made in my blender at home. I love fresh fruit and good granola, but that's a lot of $$$ for a deconstructed smoothie. read more

Outdoor seating is also here too. Service - Honestly, I've never ever had a bad experience at any KMCs. So safe to say, this place sticks to that. I love when shops catering to health-conscious consumers acknowledge that fruits and veggies are only as good for you as the conditions they were grown in. My problem here was the insane amount of single-use plastic. This is to be expected at smoothie places, so I went prepared with my own reusable cup and metal straw. However, the man taking the order declined to accept it without giving any reason, not even "COVID" ---which would be a dated excuse anyway now that we know COVID is not really spread through surface contact. He just said no, and asked for the next customer. For that reason I won't be back. It's great to provide healthy food to nourish our bodies ---but how about providing eco-conscious containers that don't contribute to the destruction of the planet and the death of sea animals. I happened upon this place by accident. I was hungry but couldn't figure out what I wanted, so I was super happy to find a healthy place to get something quick. The vegan wrap was superb! All the veggies were super fresh, and the tortilla itself was delicious! The tahini added just the right touch. I decided to give the lavender activated charcoal lemonade a try, and I am so happy I did! The lavender is subtle, the drink is not gritty, and it isn't too sweet or too sour. She warned me that the location was tiny. She was right. There were 3 barstools on one side and a table for 2 on the other. Most people came in, ordered, and left. It is definitely a good place to order and go. I ordered an acai bowl. I hadn't had one before, so I didn't know what to expect. A lot of times the pictures and reality are completely different. This was not the case. What I received looked exactly like what was on the menu's picture. A LARGE bowl of goodness. Again, I didn't know what to expect, but it was sort of like a smoothie, with some tasty bits mixed in, granola, banana, and coconut on the top. I live in Sandy Springs and could not wait for this location to open on Roswell Road. I had visited there Atlanta location several times, on my way to a hair appointment that is a few blocks away. The service at those locations is great. I have been to this location twice and have not been pleased with the service. I will not return to this location. A short while ago I walked in and sat at the counter and two white men came in after me. I was not greeted at all. When they sat down, the young lady immediately took their order and waited for them to place their order even after they said they did not know what they wanted. This is my third time trying out Kale Me Crazy (KMC), but my first time at this location. KMC offers an assortment of health-food options including juices, smoothies, wraps, and salads. I've only tried the Grounded smoothie, which consists of almond milk, hemp protein, raw cacao, banana, hemp seeds, brazil nuts, dates, cinnamon, and raw honey. The flavors combined in the grounded smoothie are great; however, my visit at this location left me rather disappointed. Apparently, the smoothie did not blend fully and I was left with small pieces of something extremely HARD...almost like tiny pebbles. :( Unfortunately, I was not able to continue to share this drink with my 3 year old due to the risk of him choking on the small pieces. The grounded smoothies that I've had at other locations were blended well and I did not have this problem. I may give this location another try, but today's visit was rather disappointing. read more

I was on a healthy kick at one point a few weeks ago and have since derailed, but Kale Me Crazy was a good way for me to attempt being healthy. I had my first acai bowl and it was delicious. Upon entry, I was looking on the wall for a menu, but it wasn't there, so that was a little confusing. Nobody was there to greet me, but I figured out on my own that they use paper-menus. Here's what I had: Fire Fighter Juice - carrot, apple, ginger, celery and cayenne. I was under the impression that it would be juiced on the spot, but instead they brought it out what was pressed already in a sealed plastic bottle. I'm a fan of carrot/apple-based juices with ginger, because I like that burn. Honestly, this was a little more expensive than Arden's Garden, but I don't remember Arden's having that ginger or cayenne kick. Acai bowl - So tasty. This was more liquidy than I expected, but I really enjoyed the texture. It wasn't completely smooth like a smoothie because it had the chunks of banana and granola that I stirred. I really loved the coconut in it and I think there was some raw honey in it too. I shortly went to a Jamba Juice the same week to try theirs, and Kale Me Crazy's was definitely better in terms of taste and quality of ingredients, despite being a dollar more. Honestly, I think of Kale Me Crazy as a healthy treat once in a while. I don't think I could go frequently because it's expensive, but it's a good place to go if you feel the need to restart on eating and feeling healthy. This place is pretty cramped. I came during the lunch hour and all the bar seats/stools were filled up. There's no menu on the wall- rather, there's a handful of paper menus in a glass vase that you can review to see what you want to order. I ordered a chicken pesto wrap and a tropical tripping smoothie. The smoothie was pretty icey and could have used more coconut yogurt or coconut milk. Additionally, the fruit wasn't all blended. The pesto wrap would have been better if it hadn't been so salty. The oil from the pesto was all over the paper wrap making it messy to eat. I probably won't be coming back anytime soon as I wasn't blown away. Spending approx. $20 for an icey smoothie that isn't fully blended and a small, salty and oily pesto wrap isn't worth it in my opinion. read more

So first off, the ordering experience was just uncomfortable and I don't want to say solely because I am of person of color but more so because of the unprofessional customer service. Secondly the attention to detail wasn't really there, I ordered my food clearly stating that I wanted my tuna wrap grilled with avocado and ended up getting a slither of avocado and a cold soggy wrap,pretty much disgusting. I was so disappointed.... just thinking about it is getting me upset again... I paid $42.82 which was pretty unreasonable considering the fact that my meal did not meet such standards. I for one am a loyal Kale Me Krazy customer and have been to almost all locations in the state of Georgia and I must say this is by far the most unpleasant and unprofessional one out of them all... Again such a disappointment but I will still be visiting other Kale Me Krazy locations again, just not this one.
