Meanwhile, just across the way, McArthurGlen is sucking up all the oxygen like the loud, flashy cousin who shows up at the family reunion with new teeth, discount luxury, and a better Instagram account.  That's the place people actually go--destination shopping, outlet energy, crowds spilling out of every corridor. CF Richmond? It becomes the afterthought, the "well, we're already in the area so maybe we'll swing by" mall. The mall equivalent of a consolation prize - maybe the pageant winner will retire and CF-R can have a chance to reign like a real mall... Maybe not. And then there's the parking - OMG!  Years of construction, half-blocked entrances, the slow-motion nightmare of circling levels like a frustrated shark just hoping for a space to open up - that isn't blocked off!  A mall can survive a lot, but it can't survive making people miserable before they've even stepped inside. Honestly there aren't enough spaces. The mall is pretty cramped. There are random small business throughout the corridors. The only real reason to visit this place randomly is for the 2F food court. This one is really hard to visit, as they are only open during business hours, and are closed by 1700. Not only that, but not every place is open every weekday. For example, on Monday, probably 5 of the 12 places were closed. Can't eat dinner here - lunches and afternoon snacks only. I've been told there are quite a few gems here. By the look at more recent reviews, it seems like they're still working out the kinks and the line is still 30-45 minutes. Maybe by this spring they'll figure it out?
