Whenever I'm in a different section of town and starting to get hungry I usually check Yelp to see what places are close by that I might be interested in going back to or trying out for the first time. Some of the places I might have enjoyed were either closed on Saturday or didn't stay open past 2 or 3 p.m. I had just been at the Natural Grocers and then drove over two Soncy to get a label printed at Office Max. When I looked on Yelp this look like it might be a more expensive place until I read the reviews and looked at some of the photos and realized it's more of a fast food Asian place. I decided to give it a try so I drive back over to that area. I would say it was typical fast food fair, nothing fancy, pretty decent, excessively sodium filled, decent quantity of food for the price. The vegetables and fish tasted good and the rice was actually far superior to what I had had a week earlier at Pei Wei. Pei Wei's rice was downright crunchy and chewy but the rice at Chop Chop was very moist and enjoyable to eat. It didn't stick together like it would have in a genuine Asian restaurant so it was a little tricky to eat with chopsticks because it kept wanting to fall apart when I would pick up bites, but I made it all the way to the end of the plate without having to switch to silverware. A manager type person stopped by to see if everything was okay which I thought was great. I had no complaints except maybe that the condiment bottles were on the Sticky Side. That is fairly common in restaurants but I don't consider acceptable because it seems to me that sticky containers would be serious germ catchers and multipliers. At the end I was looking around for a place to take my plate and a pleasant young man offered to take it for me. I would give them five stars for service. I was looking for an inexpensive meal and this one came to under $10 so I was satisfied with the price and what I got for it. It's not gourmet food but I would still recommend it to others because it wasn't bad food at all. I might even want to come back and try something else another time. read more

Foo used to be good now they are really dry. Cashier has bad service while helping me she was talking to the guy behind me. I was standing her for a minute before she stared at me and I ask her if I could have my cups for my drinks. Then while we eating the manager walks by a couple of times staring at us and ask if we ordered two meals. We love eating here always. But in the past couple of months they keep the dining area so cold you can't eat your food in comfort. The food gets cold before you can eat it... even eating fast. Let me start off by saying, I do like their food. But I have noticed recently that they seem to give you less meat and the steak seems to be of lesser quality than it has been in the past. They also have a TERRIBLE habit of not giving people the ginger sauce they ask for on deliveries. I like Chop Chop....just wish they would step their game up a bit. read more

Food here is amazing! The service is great and really quick. My only complaint is the dining in experience is not great. The chairs are extremely uncomfortable and the music is really loud Christian gospel music which is very out of place and strange. Stopped here while traveling through, glad we did. We did takeout and the staff was amazing. Nice clean and when you walk in you could smell the food, which is enticing and you know it's gonna be good. I ordered the jalapeño wonton, amazing! The egg roll was great, crispy and seasoned well. Me and husband share the traditional steak which was on fried rice, zucchini. The meat was very tender, rice was soft and moist. Usually I enjoy the food here but today it was not palatable. I ordered the large original specialty with Steak. The rice was mushy and it tasted rotten like it was left out overnight (I've eaten rice my whole life). Steak was hard (and not enough) and the veggies were overcooked. The food was horrible. My husband ordered plain fried rice dark but not salty and I ordered shrimp fried rice with onions only. My rice had all sorts of veggies which I don't like and I told them that. So both of the fried rice was super salty so much so that we couldn't even eat it! We will never eat there again. Stopped by drive through this noon as we had not been by in awhile and it was convenient. Order taker needs order repeated four times to get it. Teriyaki chicken, 2 spring rolls and one water. When asked if it was difficulties with the speaker, he reported he was dead in one ear (which had the earbud in it). Order carried out by young lady singing and sauntering but well fixed if we have a recession She was carrying her gold with her, or rather on her. Gold ring through the nose (both nostrils, we grew up ranching. . .we know what a nose ring is for), ears, eyebrows, lips. Personal self expression is fine, but we were concerned about hygiene. She reported she had forgotten the spring rolls; good for her to notice at the car quite a distance from the order window. She returned still singing and reported the box had opened and our lunch was in the bag. She was right. Our lunch was IN and ON and ALL AROUND the bag. Not much was left in the box. I was starving and looking for something to eat on a cold night and this place didn't answer my prayers. The Teriyaki chicken was bland and they give you generic packets of teriyaki that didn't really coat or make my Teriyaki chicken any good. I ordered once at work due to the recommendation by a co-worker. Got the steak it was good. I ordered takeout the other night and the rice was mush and the veggies were also mush from being over cooked. It reminded me of a pureed diet that a nursing home serves it's residents since they have no teeth to chew. In short they are horrible. They get one star since they can cook the steak. One of my favorite fast food places. We eat here a couple times a month. The only part that is not so great is the drive up. I'm giving a 5 star for the food and service, the drive up is very crowded and you have to go in the back, turn around then fight your way out if it's busy. read more

I orders 30 minutes before I got there it wasn't ready the I wait for 45 more minutes because the managers and cooks keep grabbing my ticket and push it to the back. That's real shit.
