We went on a Sunday afternoon and got two each of the regular and chili oil scallion breads. Once I got to the cafe, I ordered the banana pudding matcha latte. We sat on the bench outside to eat our bread and noticed that it tasted just a *little* like it had been sitting out for a while. I wouldn't describe it as stale, it just didn't have as soft a texture as we expected. However, it tasted absolutely delicious. I'd recommend getting both flavors if you can. The chili oil one wasn't spicy, in my opinion, it just had a kick of chili flavor. The banana pudding matcha latte was a little less successful. The pudding was great, but it just sat on top of the drink. When I mixed it into the matcha, it still wasn't coming through very strong and the drink tasted almost entirely of matcha. It was disappointing because I love banana so much. I think I'd be better off just ordering the banana pudding in the future. I'd like to come back here on a Saturday to see if the bread is a bit fresher, and I'd order the banana pudding rather than the latte.

I waited for a couple minutes and then decided to order from the Kiosk. The Upside Down Halo Halo was interesting because some of the ingredients were swapped such as Ube ice cream with the yellow one. I don't know what it's called but I'll have to look it up. Usually Halo Halo's main ingredient is Ube ice cream, which is why it's flipped upside down. Anyways, let's talk about what they also included, they included boba, Leche flan, and other flavorful ones, which I don't know what they're called. I may have to research it. I'm surprised that they included boba, which isn't really usual to be a part of this dessert. They all taste good though. It's like other Halo Halo I had from many Filipino restaurants. There are two locations that are near my home: Union City (which is here) and Milpitas. Even though that the one is slightly closer to my location, I came here since I wanted to try going to places in Union City. I got 2 plain and 2 filled churros and was quoted $20. When I checked my card statement, they charged me more without telling me about taxes or card fees. The churros themselves were oily and not crunchy. They also had extremely light cinnamon sugar coating so they didn't taste great. The filling also wasn't anything special, it was fairly plain and artificial. Very unfortunate for the high price.
