PROS: This shop always has a nice staff and is conveniently located in the heart of Nyack. I understand its good quality chocolate but I don't think the prices are where they're suppose to be OVERALL: I would come to this shop and get something if it was a gift for someone that loves chocolate. As for getting something for myself, not quite sure I'll do that

Super cute and atmospheric little shop of sweets. A joy to peruse and spend some time in. From…read morechocolate creations to tea cups and cutlery to cute house decor, you can find thoughtful and unique gifts for everyone on your list. Tried two dark hot chocolates. The regular dark hot chocolate was simple and sweet. The pistachio dark hot chocolate had whipped cream and crushed pistachios on top. Besides that, there was no other pistachio flavor, which was disappointing and defeated the purpose of getting a seasonal specialty drink such as pistachio hot chocolate. The hot chocolates were more on the liquidy side, and I would've preferred for them to be thicker and to have a more pronounced flavor of chocolate. A bit too sweet for my liking, especially considering that we got dark chocolate. You'll be satisfied and done after a few sips due to how sugary this drink is. Staff are very friendly and helpful. No restroom.

I've been going to Art Cafe for years, and it's still one of my favorite places to go for breakfast…read moreor lunch! I love that their menu has so many options that you don't typically find at other brunch spots, and there are a few things I almost always end up ordering. I am personally not vegetarian but this place is 100%. Make a reservation if you can, especially on weekends. It gets very busy! One of my favorites is the Chagall Bowl, but I always substitute the grain for Israeli couscous. I personally think it's so much better that way! I've ordered it countless times and still haven't gotten tired of it. I also really love their shakshuka, which is such a good option when I'm in the mood for something warm and comforting. Another favorite of mine is the goat cheese malawach. If you've never tried it, I definitely recommend it! The pastry is flaky and buttery, and I love the combination with the goat cheese. It's one of those dishes I don't see offered at many other places, which is part of why I love coming here. But I have to say, one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back is their chai tea late. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the best chai I've ever had. I don't know exactly what they do differently, but nothing I've had elsewhere compares. I honestly wish I could make it at home because I crave it all the time. I also really like the atmosphere here. It's a cute, cozy spot, and I've always enjoyed coming here whether it's for a full meal or just something to drink. It can definitely get busy, but I think that says a lot about how much people enjoy it. Art Cafe has been one of my go-to spots for years, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. If you're going for the first time, I'd recommend the Chagall Bowl with Israeli couscous, shakshuka, or goat cheese malawach. And seriously, get the hot chai. It's SO good. There is no parking directly associated so either do street parking or the lot a few blocks away ( pay to park)
