We were greeted and pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff and the wide selection of options. This is a smoothie place BUT also so much more than that! They offer things like fresh smoothies, fresh lemonades in a bunch of awesome flavors, smoothie bowls, and even crepes. The place itself is really nice and positive inside. They have positivity in everything from the colors they use in their decor and even their counter has saying posted to brighten your day all over it. I was curious about this so we asked more about this place and were both surprised and delighted by the answers we got from staff. This place started as a food truck five years ago that turned into a physical location about three years ago that is one of one. What makes it such a wonderful place is they work with special needs individuals and they also have them intern at this place. That's such a wonderful thing as someone who mentors someone with special needs and has a wife that works with individuals with autism that means a lot to us. My wife is pregnant with our son and we can't wait to bring him here :) we also can't wait to return to try other options. We even thought about the having the person I mentor intern here for some life experience/fun environments. They have 9 different dirty sodas and they come in 24oz (we'd love smaller size options and flights options if possible! The same bakery you know and love from H Mart now has a stand alone location in the heart of downtown Frederick. You can always get the one you want without the awkward and mostly ineffective pointing and direction giving from behind the glass lol. I picked up a nice mix or sweet and savories. The topping options were ok but the setup was odd. They had candy bars but most weren't crushed up. Most of them were mini size bars (like mini Snickers) in their whole form. Not how I want my chocolate/candy on my froyo. Everything had lids but some of the lids didn't have handles so we awkwardly had to maneuver them while spooning out the toppings (you get your own toppings). We got here 1.5 hours before closing so I hope the lids were only on there because they were preparing to close. I personally prefer a "stronger" taro and could have done with it being slightly less sweet (I usually don't add any sweet to my teas, or almost nothing).
