Thus, let us drink beer!" ― Martin Luther God was telling me to make this stop while in the area for work. Cheaper than a six pack or renting a bar stool, I decided to pick up a twelve pack at this distributer to unwind in my room. I had a small cooler so I was able to easily transport the unopened left over beers back home. So this distributer is in a strip mall with ample parking. It's not very big and neither is the selection. I decide to get a domestic since that was all that was cold in their small fridge section. Holy batman this beer is expensive! I paid 25 or 26 for this beer, including a 50 cent charge for it being cold. Really? They were pounders but still, expensive in comparison to other places. Maybe they have no competition. The clerk was nice, but also didn't offer to carry my purchase out. Chivalry is dead in the distributors. Giving a 3 for at least being open and providing the service.

I laugh because it's not like we don't have liquor stores in Virginia lol but I guess it's the uniqueness of it all and maybe the fact that it's a one stop shop with wine beer and liquor - in VA liquor stores are called ABC stores (Alcohol Beverage Control) & only sell liquor. She is always looking for the same thing; some kind of gingerbread liquor that she can't remember the name of lol and they don't ever have it so she ends up buying her usual stuff which is liquor. Again, she could get it in Virginia with no price difference but I guess it's just the fun of road-tripping.
