I went in to buy a phone for Christmas, and the employee named Manju completely messed up my account. Without my permission, she moved my main phone number to a brand-new account. She told me on December 23rd that I wouldn't have to pay for the new account and that everything would be fixed on the 26th. When I went back on the 26th, she suddenly said she couldn't put the phone back on my original account unless I paid more. She also told me my bill would go up "a little," but not more than $120. Today, when I called her back to fix her mistakes, she told me I had to pay $150.00. When I confronted her, she admitted it was her mistake and said she would pay the difference for the first two months -- but then tried to force me to remove two tablets from my account, which I no longer wanted to cancel. When I refused, she avoided letting me speak to a manager, claimed she was alone in the store, and wouldn't provide a phone number or put anyone else on the line. That's when I called Metro Customer Service myself. They fixed the entire problem in 10 minutes. I did NOT have to pay the $150, my original payment stayed the same, and I did NOT have to remove my tablets. What upset me most is that I wasn't the only one -- another customer was already there angry because Manju had done something similar to her mother's account. This felt misleading, dishonest, and unprofessional. I left extremely disappointed. Be very careful at this location -- I would not recommend it to anyone.

I had just bought a new iPhone and had plugged my Metro SIM card into the phone, and instantly that phone became locked to their network without me agreeing to any terms. When I called asking them to unlock it, I was told "No our policy states you cannot have your phone unlocked for 6 months." So I cut service with them then and there. Thankfully the store I bought the iPhone from had my back in that situation and exchanged the phone. I've now gone to a different company and will never go back. Metro by T-Mobile does not get to decide what you do with your device... Awful experience for me and still taints the company for me even now in 2025.

Also, there is a bright spot on my phone on the right side, which affects my wallpaper. I came into this place to have it checked out and see how much it would cost to repair. The tech took one look at the photo and said it's not the screen that's damaged. It's the photo is highlighting a glare in the background. He switched it to night mode, and the glare was gone, so it was clearly the photo I had as a background and not the screen itself. Also, I asked him about the streaks of light on my photos. He took one look at it and said that my lens cover is really dusty. He cleaned it off and we took a photo and all the streaks were gone. I wanna point this out because these are two things that any dishonest repair shop can easily say they will look at it and fix it and charge me $100-$200. Because of their honesty, this was a five minute visit where he did want adjustment and one lens cleaning and didn't even charge me. It's good to know that they are still honest repairman out there. If I do have a problem, I will be sure to come back here
