Not sure this is truly street food (a bit pricey), but the quality and freshness of the ingredients is beyond question and the layers of flavour in each dish we tried was more interesting than usual. A nice amount of residual heat and spices that won't remind you of what you ate for the next 12 hours. Of course, it really is a take-out place so service and ambiance are not of paramount importance - that said, people were friendly and the place was very clean. Butter chicken is WAY too sweet. I haven't ordered from here in the last few months but when I do, I always get the butter chicken. The portion was small, the chicken was dry, and the sauce was so sweet to the point of tasting like a dessert - it tasted like there was ketchup in it. First of all .. it's a gas station story! This little gem hidden in a gas station serving some kick ass curries, Indian burritos was one of the best finds in a while. The place was hopping with take out orders - it's take away only. The food is exceptionally good, palak paneer, butter chicken and the OG Samosa Burrito are all killers. Not everyone is willing to eat at a restaurant located inside a gas station. We were pleasantly surprised. Not really anywhere to sit, there is a shared countertop. Despite this, we really enjoyed the food. The lassi drinks are really delicious. Great for take away! read more

Even though this is a convenience store, it still takes 20 minutes to cook the food. The food was great but I really, really wish there were onions in my chicken burrito. This cafe is located inside the Mobil gas station. It's a real hole in the wall and genius idea of the owners! Gas sation owners don't make a profit on gas sales but off of concessions/ whatever they sell out of their shop, but I digress... onto the food. The samosa burrito is very flavorful and has a nice crunch from the crispy samosa shell. There is a slight kick to it but nothing that will leave you uncomfortable. I also got the butter chicken platter which comes with a curry side and dessert of your choice. Great bang for your buck since the portions are big. The shop also sells unique chips flavors. I wish I could give this place a million stars! The loveliest people, the most delicious food, in the most unexpected place (a gas station!). Bindu (the chef) makes everything in the kitchen inside, and it's the best Indian food you'll ever have. They've made quite a name for themselves in Vienna, and once you try the food you'll understand why. They're super accommodating too! I've seen her make gluten free, dairy free, spice free etc versions of everything - just based on request at the spot by a customer. Truly the nicest people ever! Was so eager to try this place after reading the Vienna Foodies page. What a huge disappointment. Everything was wrong. The rice was clearly day old and reheated. The spinach was almost inedible and tasted like dirt. The chicken dishes were terrible. You can get better Indian at literally any other place. read more

Secret Gem! The food here is soooooo good! The pani puri was absolutely delicious...we all finished it immediately. The papdi chaat and bhel puri were excellent and the kadi chawal felt like the comfort of home. The service is fast and everything we brought home was still as good as eating at a fine restaurant. Didn't expect Chit Chaat to be inside they Exxon Mobil gas station but there it was on Maple Ave. Tried the butter chicken, chicken biryani and chili chicken. Although I am not an expert in Indian cuisine I have had all 3 dishes at many places in the area. The butter chicken was similar to many other places and was perfectly spiced. Not as creamy as I've had but certainly tasty. The chicken biryani was equally good and had plenty of chicken in it. Not crazy about the rose flower topping but easily scraped that off to the side. The chili chicken was unlike any I've had. It was in a brown sauce instead of a tomato based sauce and the chicken was not fried. Honestly looked more like gumbo but had a nice spicy blend of traditional Indian seasoning.
