This is by far the best fast food you can grab inside Winstar Casino. The combos are reasonable and eating at a casino can be expensive. There is so much hype around Kirby's Steakhouse and it is NOT worth the wait nor the money. The buffet is sub par, I would definitely rank the buffet a 2.5 star just due to the selection and the appeal of the dishes. Thursday night is the ONLY night you can get crab and it is $39.99 and mind you, it is Golden Corral type of buffet aside for the crab. Back to Chips N Ales- there was 4 of us and we ate all combo meals, the amount of food and the service was justifiable to the cost. A three combo fried dish was $14.99 and a cod fish combo was only $10.99. You get fries and coleslaw with every meal and we got drinks so total for 4 meals was roughly $71.32. You will end up having some leftovers depending on what you order, but remember fried food is hard to mess up on. The bar was set low and it was great for what we got. read more

Fish and shrimp was amazing . The chicken and the French fries were not good ... Chicken was very dry and rubbery and French fries were wilted and seemed old . We would for sure go back though --- for the fish , shrimp and those awesome Irish nachos . Customer service was good , restaurant was busy but clean .. I wish I could have given it zero stars. Just got back from there. Yikes - rates as one of the worst all time places that I have ever eaten. We ordered the shrimp combo and the Irish nachos. Spent about $22. French fries were cold and very oily. When you squeeze the shrimp - oil drips out. Overall that dish was BLAND - they need to add something simple like SALT. The french fries were on the small side and appeared not only oily - but well done. So let's talk about the Irish nachos. To describe it -it is cheese over french fries. They used the same oily, overdone, cold french fries. They threw some bits of bacon and sausage on it [we found 7 small pieces each] then on top of that was a cheap fake shredded cheese. The whole dish appeared to have been microwaved because only the top layer of cheese was melted but only the top layer. And the oil from the cheese dripped down onto the oily fries - leaving 2 inches of oil in the bottom of the basket. Ketchup was out, napkins were out. We have basically decided that this restaurant is probably like the others there - so we won't be going back to any of them there to eat - we will spend the money elsewhere - especially considering there are other places within 10 minutes driving time. read more

I thought there would be more to it, but it was literally soggy, brown, mushy french fries and gobbs of cheese that was impossible to separate. UGH! We get all the way up to our hotel room and no pot pie... this is after I've already changed out of my clothes. So I call the manager says she will remake it. If you like grease in a basket, this place is for you. The fries were like cardboard, the fish was 90% breading and everything was dripping with grease. It was way overpriced for what we were served. Everything here started off on a bad note when there were just one or two other patron tables in the restaraunt and the first server was very slow with minimal knowledge of the menu. We ordered the fish and chips which were fine but just somewhat on the greasy side. The chicken fried steak was ok, but about what you would get at an Applebeess. Most people that come here are getting some type of promotion deal with the casino. I wouldn't go back without a promotion and probably won't be coming back to this casino anyways(which will be another review). I will mention that one of our waitresses was very nice. After we were done with our food and spent our money, the teenagers that were with us stayed in the booth for a few minutes to watch a BB game and finish their Cokes per the waitress while we went in the casino area. Everything was fine until the manager came out about 15 minutes later and made them get up and leave. They were drinking the beverages we paid for in a tiny side booth with only one other table being occupied in the restaraunt. There was no reason for that whatsoever and the waitress apologized.
