The Burrito Bowl was ok. However, the chips were overcooked and stale. I would not recommend nor will I return.

The service is...good either you get someone extremely generous or extremely greedy. Never an in between here. The food is...good either you get your food to your liking or humongous chunks of fat on your protein choice (not sofritas), huge onions in your gauc and corn salsa. The ambience is meh, chipotle was never really my choice of a sit down and enjoy type of play. read more

The burrito bowl gave me food poisoning all night and was puking all night. had me laying in bed all the next day. I will probably never eat chipotle again because of this restaurant and my experience there. read more

I've had consistently good experiences at Chipotle locations in Charlottesville and Harrisonburg, which is exactly why this review is so disappointing to write. After three separate visits to the Staunton location, all bad experiences. I decided to give Waynesboro a shot on my way home when I was craving a bowl. The first visit was great, which made the last two visits even more frustrating. Unfortunately, the quality has noticeably declined. The rice was hard, the chicken tasted like it had been sitting for hours, and the beans were so dry that I had to specifically ask for a fresher batch. While the portion sizes are generous, it almost feels like that's compensating for food that should have been replaced long before it made it into a bowl. What made the experience worse was the attitude received when requesting fresh food, something that shouldn't feel like an unreasonable ask at a restaurant serving supposedly fresh ingredients. If I didn't live 30 minutes away, I would have returned both times and asked for a refund. At this point, it's hard to justify going out of the way again, which is disappointing considering how reliable other locations have been. read more

So disappointed with this location. Tipped the drive thru and my guest and I drive to our destination and found no napkins but more importantly no utensils!!! We drove all the way back and the attendant had zero sympathy never apologized just said nothing. read more

Chicken was extremely burnt and terribly bitter, by far worst food I've ever had from chipotle. Extremely disappointed.

I have eaten at many locations for many years and this was by far the worse one. Rice was hard/clumpy, not much chicken in the bowl, chips were stale, only had 1 bottle of Tabasco for the whole place and trash was piled up. Won't ever come back here! read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - Trash too full to even throw more away. - Fast Food Near Me - Waynesboro, Virginia

Decided to show up around an hour and some change before they closed and behold they are out of white rice and Barbacoa. Two of the main things people will get. Don't understand how a restaurants most popular item is sold out over an hour before they closed. I guess show up 3 hours before they close to be able to get what you want. read more

Gross, dirty. Nasty Staff was behind counter and no customers except us and it was 4:15 and not busy. Could they clean. Heck no. Nasty! read more

They screw up orders all the time, and good god look at this burrito... I enjoy chipotle but this location is just not reaching what you would expect from a chain. Don't waste your money here. read more

In my recent online order, I received a steak that was unfortunately of poor quality. The steak appeared to have been in a state of deterioration prior to its purchase, and its taste reflected this. read more

Food is usually great, price is good, restaurant is clean, but dear God, the employees are about the rudest I've ever seen. Two days in a row we've gone and received extremely poor and hateful service, seemingly just because it's a day that ends in y. It'll be a good long while til I go back. Life's too short to have to argue just to get the food you paid for. read more

Burrito was barely 4 inches small compared to what they've used to serve. Rice is always hard and crunchy. I've been to this location before and had the same issue with inedible rice. Will not come back. Staff does not care! read more

Fairly poor experience. Restaurant was fairly dirty. Now normally if a place is crazy busy that is easy to let slide. One person in there and 5 employees. Took a few minutes to get acknowledged. Took the food to go, due to the state of tables, then found a hair in my food. Probably won't go back. read more

Food is very good! Wish they had a drive through. Not really sure what else to say. Yelp says I need at least 85 letters?

I used to love going to this chipotle until now. I placed a mobile order as I was on the go and needed to be quick. When I first walked in all of the workers looked at me as if I was stipif and were not friendly at all. I told them I had a mobile order multiple times with them looking at me like I was lying. I finally got my mobile order after many unfriendly looks and comments. To start off, they did not make my bowl correct. I get no rice and use the fajita veggies as a "substitute". I did not have my fajita veggies which was super disappointing. I needed to use the restroom since I was on the go and was in immediate disgust. The bathrooms did not like they have been cleaned in WEEKS!!! I used to work in customer service and understand the amount of people who come in to use the restrooms but I also understand how they should be cleaned. These have not been cleaned in a long time and it showed. After seeing that I immediately lost my appetite and was very disappointed in the service and quality of the restaurant and workers. I am extremely unsatisfied and hope that it is not always this way... read more

Today we ordered on the app 2 brisket burrito bowls and I only found 3 tiny pieces of brisket and 2 others that were pure fat. This is totally unacceptable. We also ordered guacamole separate and it was not green. It had turned a brownish color. Awful!! We pay for something that we did not get. It's the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. Will not order from the Waynesboro location again. Awful!! read more

I walked in and 3 workers stared at me for five minutes, but no one would come help me. A nice young man finally came, but was followed by an unruly female. She handled my food without gloves and when she finally realized what she was doing, she yelled "f***" and ran to grab a pair before coming back. The beans were crusted over and the man tried desperately to mix them before serving them to me (I declined.) The entire store was nasty. there was trash everywhere and beans IN the water fountain (??) I am truly disgusted. This was by far the most unpleasant Chipotle experience I've ever had. I also got over charged but was past the point of caring and just wanted to leave. I am beyond baffled that this place is still in business. read more

The food was on par but the service was terrible. There is nothing more disappointing than hearing the staff complain about their job and how they cannot wait to get off. Another staff member was talking openly about how they had to do community service and were on probation. The same staff member mentioned they were loathing the community service when they got off of their shift. Very little to no customer interaction as they only talked (complained) amongst themselves. The lobby was packed with customers and there was no sense of urgency. read more

Think I'll try the Staunton location next , because my granddaughter and I just left the store on Rosser Ave in Waynesboro VA about a hour ago the service is not even rate worthy especially the two females the heavy one continued to make a order for a customer that wasn't even present when I told her we were ready to check out to after seeming another 3 to 4 mins had one fellow trying to get all the orders out while the other little female female with a attitude was walking around in circles like she didn't have a job to do! The customers behind us was of color two so I would guess the made a assumption that we were together but I told her at the beginning it was me and my granddaughter! They must scrap the bottom of the barrel for the idiots. read more

I go out of my way to come to this location. People here are on top of things, you don't need to wait long and the food is always done right. Great service - worth the further distance to drive! read more

Great service, friendly staff, and always gives good sized portions. Definitely prefer this location over the Staunton one.

The food was decent but the chips had the feeling of leather, no tops for drinks, and 60$ for 3 bowls a drink and chips, also stale tortilla

This place was an absolute shit show. Multiple different sauces mixed together just from being sloppy. Messes everywhere , front of house back of house. Out of multiple staple menu items also. Complete amateur hour read more

We were the only customers and the Kitchen was super dirty as was the drink station. Hope we don't get sick!!

I ordered a bowl on the app today and I asked for the red sauce on the side because it's so hot. I also asked for extra cheese and sour cream. Well... the sauce was in the bowl and no extra anything. And the free chips & queso given to me for signing up for the rewards program was so stale that I couldn't even eat them. read more

Excellent service. I've ordered take out numerous times since this location has opened. It's always been ready on time and accurate. Food is typical Chipotle - delicious. I have no complaints as a local. Hope it continues to be well managed and all will be good. Thanks for all the deliciousness. :) read more

Hours open 10:45am - never ready when open. I have been multiple times and they're out of things during lunch. Short staffed always.

I used to enjoy going to Chipotle for a quick meal that was substantial and reasonably healthy but recently the Waynesboro location has been nothing but bad. The service is never friendly, they are always out of at least three key ingredients, and the rice is never cooked all the way so your burrito bowl is crunchier than their always stale chips. read more

In the normal business world most businesses when they open realize the first impression is everything. When you open a new location you make sure supplies are on hand, staff is trained, and the place is in tip top shape. Needless to say, this location failed miserably. How do you open a New Mexican restaurant without chips? Not to mention no rice, or corn salsa. We walked out and went elsewhere and probably won't return anytime soon. I just hope it gets better. read more

terrible food, only some one that has not idea what decent food is will give this place more than a single start...cold and tasteless food, they won't see me ever again. read more

This location has gotten worse as the past 2 months have progressed. It started with ordering delivery through Chipotle.com - which is fulfilled by DoorDash. They completely forgot the chips, put the queso in the bag though. After calling the restaurant, the manager informed me I'd have to call corporate or I can come in later and pick up the chips... I am a disabled veteran with a small, young child - I ordered delivery for a reason. After 20 minutes on the phone with corporate, they refunded me the chips and I "enjoyed " my cold food. Next, my husband and I order via DoorDash. My husband paid for double steak in his burrito, there was less steak than my 1/2 chicken 1/2 steak bowl! Next, I order online and pick up in the drive thru. I get home with the order and it's just disgusting, words cannot describe what I opened, it went into the trash immediately. The final straw was tonight. My husband went in to order and said the guy making the food was slowly, one by one, letting the pieces of meat fall and counting them. The rice amount was approximately 1/3 of normal. The taste was appalling and the rice was hard. Idk if this location is hurting for money but they are doing it all wrong! We will NOT return to this location and we advise no one else to either, save your money for somewhere else or try a different location. This one needs a real manager that actually knows what their doing, or just shut it down. Completely ruins the brand! read more
