If there was 10 stars, I would give Chick-fil-a a 10 star rating!!!! The food is great and the service is amazing!! They are very quick and organized even during those peak hours. I have been both a customer and door dash delivery person and my experience has been nothing but great with Chick-Fil-A. I highly recommend their Southwest Salad, it's very yummy and has just enough flavor. The place was clean, the food was good (a little overcooked on the sandwich though), and the staff (as usual) were extremely helpful and friendly. I like the mobile ordering process where you don't have to wait in line, can order in advance, and once there you can say what table number your at so they can bring it to your table. No fuss no muss...I could quickly get use to that kind of ordering. It takes all the stress and wait time out of the fast food ordering process. Was super busy on a Monday at 3, but when isn't a Chik-fil-a busy I suppose. Employees were taking orders in two drive thru lines to keep traffic moving and runners were bringing food to the windows to get people out as quickly as possible. As expected everyone we interacted with was kind and patient and the food of course was exactly what we wanted. Worst chic fi la experience ever! Had a few times where the wait was extremely wrong but when I was given my order the staff apologized before I even thought to say anything and refunded my meal or started throwing in extras. It got to be where I would actually hope something would go wrong lol I also worked at one as a teen and know the standards. I brag and say chic fi la vs fast food it's just different the values and quality. NOT HERE! So 1 MY ENTIRE ORDER was incorrect and 2 this is the worst! the sandwich bun was not only COLD not not warm like felt like it came out of a fridge no exaggeration AND here's the kicker part of the bun was soggy and mushy to the touch . It's the grossest thing at ANY food establishment including late night drunk getting left over from the day food from gas stations Iv ever ever dealt with. Was going to deal with the order wrong had pulled off to the park and ride and was eating but taking a bite and holding back getting sick was just too much. After going back and having to stand outside in the rain in upper 30 degrees to wait and speak to a manger who only blamed it on training and made lame excuses that has nothing to do with the bun being soggy was well lame and he lied saying it was too much butter on the bottom bun. There was no yellow, no oil, nothing but like water soggy n straight mush when you touched it. Instead of apologizing and offering a discount or refund it was sorry ass excuses and had to wait again for my food to be brought back out. Usually when I come to this location I use the drive thru but regardless of how I've ordered the employees have always been friendly and I get my food pretty quick. The first time or one of the first times I ate at this location they were helping support a child in the area that had cancer by donating some of the money (or maybe all the money, it was three or four years ago I don't remember if I even knew the exact details) from cookie sales. Place is a complete disaster inside. Crap laying out everywhere. Extremely greasy floors. Employees and management are very aloof and oblivious. You could stand and stare at them for 5 minutes and nobody will make eye contact with you. There is also an extremely rude older gray hair woman who works there. We love Chick-Fil-A and LOVE the Chick-Fil-A at this location in Waynesboro! We have eaten here dozens of times (at least once a week) at various times of the day over the past couple of years. Employees seem well-trained, excited to be there, and interested in serving customers. Food comes out quickly and service does not lag even during peak times in both the drive-thru and inside. Our order is always correct and made to perfection. The dining area, bathrooms, and play area are kept clean. First off, the place was jam-packed with customers. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant. The menu want a pleasant surprise: we split a grilled chicken wrap with Avocado-lime dressing, which was outstanding. But best of all the service was outstanding: totally professional and courteous...and there were fresh flowers on the table! John, the manager, came around to check on us and let us know about their quality standards. Plus, as we were getting ready to leave, John offered us complimentary mints.
