Absolutely the worst KFC chicken I've ever eaten, and I'm 75 yrs. old. I don't think it's just this particular franchise, I think the company as a whole has gone downhill. I ordered at an inside Kiosk and waited for my receipt, the Kiosk said it was being prepared. My order came out, no reciept. The employee was rude, condescending, and unprofessional. She said the kiosks don't give receipts so I asked her to print one, she looked at me like I was stupid and said she can't and walked away. I will be reporting this to the BBB, I am pretty sure you have to provide reciepts on request... More bad visits than good. It doesn't hurt to be nice. Either the drive through speaker needs repairing or folks need to pay attention when they initially tell you to go ahead with your order. There are great employees at this location but when they aren't on holy c*ap the food and service is horrible. It was a beautiful sunny day out. I stopped by this location hoping to grab a quick bite to eat. As I approached the drive through I was spoken to by a very rude voice that I couldn't understand at all. After I pulled up to the window I finally met the very rude person I spoke to at the drive thru. She was everything I expected, very rude! I wish I read all the other reviews prior to my decision to eat at this KFC... I hope this restaurant is able to stay open with how awful customer service is. They do have ac and restrooms to take a sink shower. Thank you KFC for providing public restrooms... I will not buy any food from this location ever ever ever again. Don't. Don't, don't, don't, don't, don't. From the unprofessional service at the front counter ordering to the quality of the food, this place is a solid "Don't." At my son's insistence earlier tonight I took him here, and the man slurring his words at the front counter couldn't stop fiddling with a stapler that his boss told him was an expensive one and he should not break (it was broken)... He took our order, repeated it back several times incorrectly, and rang it up incorrectly despite multiple attempts... It was not worth fighting with him, so we paid him and took the food - completely the wrong order, and of low quality to boot. Never again. read more

If I could rate this restaurant zero stars, I would. First while I know this is not limited to the store, there's no way to edit any of the food using the mobile app, but when I went to pick up my mobile order in the drive-through, the lady was very snippy and told me that mobile orders could only pick up inside. When I did go inside to pick up my order, the lady just had an attitude and the customer service there it's just really bad. I have never had an issue with this food before but the customer service every time I go here is awful. read more

Rude!! Went to pick up an order I wasn't aware that they couldn't pass it through the drive thru window. The lady in drive thru very rudely told me I would need to come inside, which, I didn't mind. OMG !!! How does this place not be shut down? The odor hits as you walk in. The next place was the restrooms to wash before eating... ughhhh nasty!!! So we take a look at the buffet and another OMG!! Dried out everything an this was around 330 PM. The manger was filling drive thru orders the view was obvious because the open kitchen ... he was popping food in his mouth while wearing gloves filling drive thru orders and looking g to see if anyone was watching. If I could have given no stars I would. The food itself is mediocre but from a fast food standpoint usually not too bad. We usually visited this particular restaurant a few times a week until recently. Several months ago this particular restaurant stopped serving grilled chicken because the machine was broken. When asked when it would be repaired, we were told that the owner didn't want to spend the money so they wouldn't be serving that chicken anymore. Ok, thought KFC had to follow a universal menu but not the end of the world. Since then the quality of the food has plummeted. On numerous occasions the hot food has been cold and the cold food hot. Just some examples, Butter packets melted, gravy is either too watery or way too thick, biscuits rock hard and slaw that is actually room temp. When informing employees you get a chuckle and " I'll look into it". Stuffing was removed from the buffet because " we just aren't doing that anymore". The seats are ripped and taped back with duct tape and the restaurant is dingy and appears not to be regularly cleaned. Again I know it's a fast food place but come on. Finally today we gave it one more chance. The restaurant was not busy at all. When we got there there were receipts scattered all over the counter at the registers. There appeared to be three to four people working. By working I mean talking in the back out of eye sight. When someone finally surfaced to pass the cash register they were moving so slow I could have crawled faster. No "I'll be right there " or "hold on guys I'm coming" .. what we get is a hi guys. Meanwhile it's been 15 minutes and someone is behind us waiting as well. Now three other patrons get out of seats and are standing at the edge of the counter with receipts waiting for their food. At this point one guy looks at us and says I've already paid and been waiting here for 20 minutes to get my order. He says " if I were you guys, I'd go somewhere else" .. we in turn did just that. Sad to see what used to be a decent place turn into this. Obviously not caring about their quality or customers. We used to love coming here. THREE TIMES A WEEK love it there. I love KFC but this place it is always something, the food just was not right like KFC should be, kinda old taste.The side of green beans was half empty just not even half full The person at the register did not give my credit card back right off and had to ask for it. One time we went in we had really rude girl inside and she was slamming chairs on top of tables even tho they did not close for a good couple hours, she act like she hated us. Ordered pick up at the Staunton Va location, when my husband arrived the order wasn't ready. Frustrating but as a General Manager of a restaurant myself I know this happens. Instead of "I'm sorry your order is not quite ready I'll bring it out when it's done" he was told instead "It's not done you'll have to go to your car and check back later" . So he did once the order was ready (45mins) as he "kept watch" he went inside the night manager handed him our food and sarcastically says "Merry Christmas!" ....(in March?). After all that we didn't even get all our chicken!! Crazy! So I called and asked to speak to the MOD explained what happened and our experience and was told ok Ill replace your missing piece of chicken.What? ..after speaking more she said she would look into and call me back. 7 days later nothing, so I called back asked to leave a message for her to return my call. What a joke! When I go to KFC, I'm not looking for 5 star anything but, come on! I'm a Door Dash driver who went to pick up an order. the person placed the order at least 30 minutes before I got there. When I asked about it, I was told there was a driver who had already been there and they said the order was canceled even though they still had the order on their screen telling them to make it. I messaged the customer who informed me she in fact, did not cancel her order. so I pull up to the drive thru speaker to tell them to go ahead and make the order. The manager tried to convince me to persuade the customer, who has already waited almost an hour for her order at this point, to take what she had available instead making what she ordered because they were supposed to close in 10 minutes. I told them to make what she ordered and I would wait on it. They took 45 minutes to make her order!!!!!!!!! Never again. NEVER AGAIN. read more

They offered for me to come back and pick them up but I live 45 minutes away and need to get on homework with my kids. I asked for a refund for the amount of the biscuits. They refused saying they can't refund biscuits. Really? Even if a biscuit is not refundable item you could refund something that is of close to equal value. read more

The Buffett was stocked and well kept, everyone was friendly and it didn't take long to place my order. For a fast food restaurant it was a please tell experience. I will be dinning here again :) read more

My husband and I ate there last night. We arrived at the store at 8:39 p.m. The store doesn't close until 10:00. The entire time we were there the crew was doing closing prep. There was one employee who was cleaning the dining room area that was constantly and loudly complaining about her job and yelling to the back of the store to the employees working in the back. She even came over and told us why she wanted to quit and how bad it was to work there. My husband ordered a fill up meal and it comes with a cookie. They were out of cookies because "we didn't have time to make them earlier and now we are working on closing". Again more than an hour before the store was scheduled to close. My husband's chicken was burnt. Also be careful if the floor is wet. I have never seen a floor so slick and I ended up falling. read more

We have tried several times to get food "to go" and every time it's a minimum of a 35-45 min wait. At 5pm to 6pm on any day that just isn't cool. You know it's dinner time. You know you are in a prime location in town. You know you serve chicken. Why would you not have it ready to go at that hour? DO NOT recommend this KFC at all. :( read more

We stopped in to grab dinner at around 6pm on Sunday evening. The staff were extremely loud. One in particular was yelling and wearing cat ears maybe due to Halloween coming up. The buffet was extremely messy and the food was mostly empty even though there were only a few customers. We decided to eat elsewhere due to the noise of the employee's and we did not want to take a chance on how fresh the food would be. It was a shame cuz it is a new building. Went to the KFC on Richmond Rd. In Staunton this afternoon with my family. We all decided to get the buffet, big disappointment! Started out where you get the silverware, only forks, no knives or spoons. When asking for them, was told they didn't have anything but forks. The buffet was awful! Everything looked like it had been sitting there for awhile, dried up food and even the biscuits, that I usually like, were hard! A lot of the buffet food that wasn't dried up, wasn't even there, empty trays or trays where maybe a spoonful of food in them. We waited patiently for the workers to at least bring out some chicken as there was only 1 old piece sitting in the tray. Finally got the attention of one of the workers to ask if they would please bring out some more chicken. No one was working the buffet to replace or fill up the food trays. The restaurant really wasn't busy at all so we didn't think that they were at all short handed. The actual restaurant was disgustingly dirty. The floors were covered with food crumbs and garbage. The tables weren't wiped down when we got there and no one came to wipe any of them down the whole time we were there. I noticed when we arrived napkins and forks spilled on the floor near the registers, was still there on the floor when we left. It will definitely be a very long time, if ever, that I set my foot in this restaurant again! read more
