My friend and I came here for a quick lunch. There was no line which was nice. I did a bowl with brown rice, black beans, carnitas, corn salsa, guac and mild salsa. We did chips and guac as well. Overall pretty good, chips and bowl were a bit too salty for me. The place itself was clean and lots of seating options. They also have an outdoor space which is nice. read more

It has been years (back when I first started college, oh my, I'm just realizing I'm OLD!!) that I have visited with Qdoba. I decided to stop here for a mid-day snack and as usual I was not disappointed!! I did the build your own Nachos and they were heavenly. I chose to order through their app and went inside to pickup. I'm not sure what happen, but I'm pretty sure I ordered a drink but it did not go through, just an fyi for those ordering mobile to extra vigilant that you have ordered everything. So disappointed today, we loved going to Qdoba because they had multi-drink machine. Most of us have seen it, touchscreen with 40 different drinks and flavors...well, if you are like us, then be warned, they DO NOT HAVE THE MACHINE anymore. We were told it was too expensive to maintain. Well, honestly the food was not all that special, it was the drink machine that gave options of caffeine or not, sugar, fake sugar, or no sweetener and random flavors. Also, not even Coke Zero in the machine. No option of no caffeine and fake sweetener. Depressing, so now it is time to go to Wendy's downtown because of the drink machine. If the franchisee reads this, your decision was not wise, while there today, several people commented that they were not coming back as they too came for the drink machine. Bad call, the place did not have much; nothing special with food, design, settings, and no real "experience"; it was the drink machine and now no reason to come back. read more

Full disclosure I am normally a huge fan and promoter of the Qdoba location on Lennox in Charlottesville. Service and food are usually quite good and I go there about 5-6 times a month. Love the staff but I don't plan to visit anymore due to food poisoning I contracted Wednesday April 30th 2025. I went for lunch and ordered a simple chicken quesadilla with fajita veggies and queso. By late afternoon my stomach was a mess. Sick as a dog the next 2 missed work days. Probably cost me around $700.00 in lost work time not to mention endless bathroom trips and puking my guts out. it's now Sunday and I'm finally feeling better. I saw another review on google where a couple were also poisoned around the same timeline. It's too bad, I was a huge promoter. read more

I've been to our local Qdoba a few times. Most recently got an adobe chicken bowl to go. I was actually surprised at the quality of the bowl. The toppings and the chicken had great flavor. The toppings were fresh and the portion size was adequate. I came in wanting to try a burrito but I'm the type of person that can't stand stuff falling apart in my hands. I was hoping to find a press so they can grill it. Call me crazy, but a man wants what a man wants.... Pass the knife and fork. read more

I haven't had Qdoba in years so I decided to eat here over some other places. Pros: - used the app to order and saved $5! Woohoo! - surf and turf bowl was tasty - good amount of guacamole was given Cons: - bowl seemed a little small and my hunger right now is proof it was. - I only saw one type of hot sauce and it wasn't the spicy kind. Overall I enjoyed the taste of the bowl but felt it was small. Would give this place 3.5 but since the app gave me $5 off...I'll bump it up to a 4 rating. read more

My mother once said, "If ya ain't got nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all". Well, I am NOT my mother and I will mention this one thing. I ordered a chicken burrito with beans, rice - the whole she-bang! I bit down on something hard and crunchy. I had no idea what it was. It was a black bean. I though, "How odd". I picked up the fork and moved around some of the filling to get me some more CRUNCHY black beans. I noticed it was the whole burrito. They weren't raw, but they weren't cooked. Hard enough to worry about a tooth. I took it to the counter and explained the "sitch" to the "dude" behind the counter - who's job it is to fill and roll a burrito and got into an argument about whether or not the beans were cooked. He did not want to make me another one. I found out why. The entire bean batch was under cooked and crunchy and he didn't want to be wrong. So I slapped that burrito down on the counter and it exploded all over the counter and I never went back. I guess mother was on to something. Ps. This was quite a while ago so I'm sure that "dude" is long gone. read more

We always appreciate coming here for a meal. It's a favorite for our kids. It's a relaxed atmosphere so it's easy to bring them and they love the big coke machine. The restaurant never seems busy. We usually eat out on the fenced-in patio and the kids can roam a bit while we take longer to finish our meals. The food is good and the restaurant and bathrooms are clean. They have a rewards program and we've earned some bonus meals from that. Easy spot to grab lunch or dinner. read more

Came for a quick lunch and ordered a chicken bowl with brown rice, queso, guacamole, fajita veggies, black beans, pico de gallo, roasted corn, jalapenos, and tortilla strips. Service was fast and ingredients were fresh. It was fine lunch and a convenient location (right off 29 in front of Costco). There is an outdoor seating area. For the price, I prefer other places in the area with more complex flavors. However, they do participate in the Attractions book, which if I'm using the BOGO coupon, they would get an additional star for value. read more

As much as I love Chipotle more than Qdoba, I thought this location had super fresh food and great service! Everything was super fast and clean and I felt like there was an abundance of fresh meats and vegetables to pick from. It's a great place to stop for some quick but healthy food in Stonefield, especially if you want to avoid the long lines at some of the other places. read more

Foods is good. Place looks clean. Got chicken bowl, was fresh & cheesy. Chips have a little lime hint on some of them. Beware if you come in on crutches when it's wet out. Floor is slicker than a cats behind. Nearly fell & broke my other leg. The music is not good. Sounds like adult kids bop. Also kept hearing I feel it coming for like 2 minutes straight! Very disappointed with this place. Went in Today around 4pm. staff didn't greet me at all I had to say hi to them. Their faces were exhausted from seen a customer coming in. Food was cold and mediocre. Didn't bother to heat up my tortilla. What pissed me off the most was the manager saw what his employee just had done and did nothing to fix the problem. Manager just laughed and giggle with the other staff. These 3 kids working today are not taking their job serious. I've eaten at many, many Qdoba restaurants around the country. This is, hands-down, the most poorly run one I've patronized. We come to Charlottesville a couple times a month to go to Costco, which is right behind this Qdoba. We'll often stop here after shopping. Over the past year, this store's service has become terrible. The vacant looks the stoners waiting on you give you when you ask for a burrito never cease to amaze me. There is usually trash overflowing from the trash cans, tables are dirty. Today, they were out of white rice in the middle of the day. A couple months ago, when we were there, they were out of taco meat. I'm not sure what's going on in this store but we won't be going back for a while. read more

UGH. I really wanted this place to be a place I could get some good food at. First, let me preface by stating that I grew up in Charlottesville, but lived in San Diego for 15 years. So, I realize I'm spoiled. Coming back here to live I didn't even expect to find any good Mexican style food. BUT my husband was all "it's pretty good" so we grub hubbed it. GUH. The tortillas taste like, well, nothing, the meat was GROSS and whatever that adobo sauce is was terrible. :( I'm hopeful to try some other local spots and find some legit tasty food. read more

Got some Qdoba catering with some friends last night. I actually found that making bowls with their catering is better than their actual bowls but for about the 3rd time, there was not enough rice or meat. While I think their food and timing is good, we have told them we need more rice and meat for our number of people and they continue to get it wrong. I'll certainly eat there again but my friends and I will not be having their catering again. read more

Very disappointing place to eat. Went in at 12:30 lunchtime. There was one table with somebody eating. No line at all. I should have known right there to turn around and walkout. But I was hungry. Got the tacos. How can you go wrong? Right? We asked for some queso and he put about 3 to 4 drops on each taco. Right at the top center of each taco. Then we ask for cheese. He put a very light sprinkle at the very center of each taco. Im thinking this must be some very tasty cheese and queso sauce. We get to the table to eat. The meat in the tacos is cold. The taco tastes like it just came out of the fridge. Can't you throw them in a microwave or a toaster oven first? $3.50 a taco. Won't be back. read more

He tried to talk to us in a flirtatious way and I caught him staring at our asses and boobs... We feel disgusted, so unprofessional. We will NOT be going back. Located in the Costco elbow. The two times I went there in the past 30 days the place was deserted. The restaurant was squeaky clean and the staff looked me in the eyes and were friendly. The ingredient bar was clean, appetizing and fresh looking. I can't think of anything sub-standard here, or anything to complain about. I will be going back, as eating this kind of food helps me stick to my very restrictive diet. read more

So today 6/7 I went by to pick up lunch at 1130. Their hours have them opening at 11 but their door was locked. I could see 3 people working inside so I knocked on the door thinking they had forgotten to unlock it. One of the women looked up, saw me & waved me off. I then called the store on my cell phone & the same woman who had blown me off answered( I could see her answer on her cell) I told her I knew they opened at 11 but their door was locked. She said "there are not many of us here so we are opening late--probably not for another 20-30 min"! Really? I have never seen but 2 people in there grew when I have swung by to pick up lunch. By now if your a fan of my reviews you may have noticed a trend, I like to build my own food. This is because we cook at our house. In the case of Chipotle sometimes you don't have time to prepare the amount of food you wish to demolish. In that pickle you should just come to this Chipotle unlike the one on the corner, this one has parking. On top of the parking, it has a nice inside but it's not always clean to sit. The tequilla lime chicken that doesn't taste like tequilla but does have a nice neutral base to good food. Building a burrito, has limits but here, they will make sure it all fits. I weighed a burrito from here once and since I don't want to get anyone in trouble I will say, for my gluttony I should have stopped half way through and eaten it for two meals, instead I finished the thing, it stayed wrapped, I was able to pour chalula hot sauce on it as it went down, and the rice was perfectly salted. While I do feel bad for the people who have claims to getting sick, I think it's kind of interesting that the incubation period on food bourne illness is 24hours, if they were all sick it's likely something they all share or a soap residue left on a cooking surface.
