Skip this Chipotle and drive to the one in King of Prussia. I love Chipotle and its one of my favorite go-to's but this location is not clean. After a few visits to this location, and trash all over the floor, I'm over it. The portions are small and the food was cold. Had a craving for rice and queso so decided to head to Chipotle for lunch. Began ordering just went with a bowl. Rice beans chicken and that's when I realized this location is not like other Chipotle stores. All of the product was low. The guacamole was brown and the queso was definitely sitting there awhile too as you could see it beginning to set. I was there and I was hungry so decided to try it anyway. Once I dug in, I found the the rice wasn't cooked and everything was just slimy. I'll never be getting good from this place again. Place wasn't clean like your traditional Chipotle's either. It all started with the ardmore chipotle "of course"... I get to the front of the line and the customer in front takes the last of the rice so i think in my head hmm now i get to have fresh rice... WRONG. One of the many incompetent employees told the line cook to make more rice... I was furious not only did i ask for a double wrapped and SHE clearly made it a single but you didn't think to ask for more rice ahead of time instead of just running out and THEN asking for more... i mean who trains these people the management is a nightmare. So i bite my lip and almost decided to go to wawa but my stomach has already made up its mind. Light after Light I finally make my way to the Wayne Chipotle Location. First thing i notice as soon as i walk in is communication, everyone on the line is talking and helping one another theres energy and look i have no problem with talking at work its fine just make sure that you are paying attention to the customer and your job which they were all very professional and capable of doing. Next thing I look for the rice and Oh man theres a lot a full batch so I'm excited... they ask me what i want i say double wrapped burrito please and the kind lady knew exactly what i wanted. Next thing i know I'm into a conversation with the line cook who by the way is a model employee and deserves a raise on the spot. When in my work i love engaging with the customers In customer service its part of the job and and not only the line cook but the rest of the workers there actually wanted to talk to me i was shocked" but in a good way. He then asked me how i was doing and he actually gave a #### about my experience at chipotle. I was offered chips and quac as compensation for my trip to ardmore lol which was incredibly kind. And you know what else i saw that amazed me, the line cook made a fresh batch of chips and guess what HE TASTED IT!!!.. now i don't know about you but i cook a lot and i know that if you are a chef or even a line cook one of the first things you need to know is what the food taste like this is very important i mean how do you know what you are serving if you don't taste it. I give this place 5 stars for their customer service and the food was incredible. All of the employees were excellent and saved me from giving up on chipotle. I will be taking my business to the Wayne and NOT Ardmore from now on. read more

Every Chipotle I go to I always have to get the 3 flour tortillas filled with barbacoa, cheese, hot salsa, and cilantro. Really reminds me of Mexico! This Chipotle is on par with most other locations. However, I did have an experience here when they first opened and one of the guys putting the tacos together put hardly any meat on the tacos. I then told him he could put some more meat on there... and he said, "You want double meat?" And I said no, I want the normal amount of "meat" that is put in the tacos. He gave me some serious attitude. Nonetheless every time I have since been back, portions have been back to normal. read more

I am a huge Chipotle fan, it's fast and delicious actually I might even go get Chipotle today. The staff is friendly, you can order online and come and pick up your mother load burrito without having to stand in line. Great food that is very consistent, but service and convenience are the worst at the Wayne location. Typically long waits at lunch and dinner times (30 to 40 min in line) and app no better (just tried to place an order at 6:50 for a salad and burrito and pick up time was 8pm!). Called the restaurant and told they were busy and that's why it would take so long. Get more help, better processes and throughput! Chipotle has always been one of my go-to places to grab food. Their portion sizes have always been more bountiful than I've seen from Qudoba, and the staff here is always friendly and courteous. However if you're planning on purchasing a burrito from this location in particular, I would recommend a bowl. As the last several times I've gone in for this purpose, the manner in which this burrito was wrapped... could use some improvement. As little care was taken to ensure that the contents of that wrap remained in the burrito beyond the service counter. read more

If I could give a zero I would. This is the worst chipotle I've been to & I love Chipotle. Ordered online with other people from my job with no issues until I got to the store to pick it up. Went to the front like you are supposed to do and my food was not ready. It wasn't even started. The people in there acted like I never even placed an order for a good 3 mins before they found it on the computer. So Then i had to sit there while I already ordered and paid and wait another 10 mins and was late to work. On top of that, the bag of chips that I got with my side of chips and guac had all of about 6 chips in it and every single one was stale. 100% will never go back again read more

Disappointing. Having never been to a chipotle before, I was excited to give it a try. Upon entering I was immediately disgusted by the aesthetics and volume of their establishment. The individuals making my order couldn't hear what my requests were due to the loudness of the music inside. Moreover, the restaurant itself looked atrocious and I felt gross inside of it. I've been to many chipotle stores and this location has the worst quality of ingredients and service. Been here a few times and every time, the white rice was too wet, soggy and lumpy. The guy had to hit the scoop hard multiple times just to get the rice to break up! And the grilled peppers/onions were always burnt. Dont this location have quality control?? The people who works at this place also seem to have a bit of an attitude. Asked for some extra salsa and the guy gave me "the look". And all they seem to want to do is rush people thru the line. I am a huge chipotle fan but each time I've visited this location has been underwhelming. First time I went, I saw the line employee giving the customer in front of me a lot of attitude and my food ended up being very cold/bland. Rice was overcooked and mushy and the flavors of the ingredients seemed completely off from other Chipotle locations I've tried. I tried this chipotle twice more since then hoping that the first visit was just an off day, but unfortunately this wasn't the case. Yesterday when I went in, i was the only customer in line and there were a group of employees just talking to each other but looking over at me occasionally. I didn't want to be rude so I just waited, but it took over 5 minutes for one of them to finally come over. The guy scooping seemed to be annoyed with me (maybe because he had to leave his conversation for me?) Again, food wasn't great. Chipotle's food is excellent. I always get the veggie burrito bowl with guac, black beans, brown rice, peppers, onions, and other stuff that I can't remember. (PERFECTION) I would definitely give this restaurant five stars because of their amazing food and how it is sort of a fast food place. You go along an aisle with food on it, and you tell people what you want, and you get it on the spot. They also have very friendly workers that do anything to get what you want. read more

After a hardworking few hours writing reviews and watching a documentary, I shimmied my way over to Chipotle on Lancaster Ave. There was no wait to be found, and I was able to step right up and scoot down the line as I wrote the script for the Chipotle workers to craft my masterpiece. I ordered a hearty chicken burrito with white rice, salsa, corn, cheese, and guacamole (of course, for $2.00 more), and watched them rap it to perfection. The first mishap I noticed was they did not give me a basket in which to carry my purchase. This forced me to consume my food carefully...trying not to spill. I asked for a water cup, but was saddened to see that there was no ice in which to give my drink a chill. My worries all went away when I started to devour the goodness that was my burrito. For under 10 bucks, this is a good place to go for some good Mexican. read more

I usually love coming to this Chipotle. Today there was a woman in front of us who was nice enough to ask if my friend and I wanted to get in front of her because she had a large order. We said no because we didn't know what we wanted and the lady proceeded to order about 5-6 bowls. The boy handling her order was very nice and managed the order well. A woman came out and began to ask my friend and I what we wanted while the boy taking the woman's large order still had the bowls in front of the selections. So while we were ordering our food and the woman was ordering hers, it was rather dysfunctional and we couldn't tell which bowls were ours. While she was taking our order she interrupted the woman to ask if she knew about ordering online in which the woman said "yes" and the woman serving just stared at her. My friend and I ended up paying before the woman that was in front of us and I told her that our order was separate and she said "I know", in an attitude that I've never heard any of the employees here use before. I let her know that I was just letting her know because she didn't ask and my friend and I were paying separately. I don't know how she could've know without actually opening her mouth to ask. After my friend paid, she gave him the receipt and it was my turn. I handed her my card and she swiped it, gave me my card back and didn't even look at me. I stood there waiting for my receipt and eventually just asked for it in which she gave it to me and still didn't even look at me, as her concern was the woman who was already being taken care of my another, very nice, employee. My receipt says her name is Quiata, I'm not sure if this is her or not, but she won't be making my food again. 5 stars for the boy who handled the more stressful order with complete respect for the customer. WORST Chipotle location on the planet. As a devout Chipotle fan, I have been to nearly every Chipotle in the Philadelphia/Main Line area, and this is by far the worst. Avoid at all costs. Drive to the City Line or King of Prussia locations instead. Slow service, long lines, and incompetent staff make a trip to this Chipotle an absolute nightmare. The best chipotle in the area. Food always on point but the staff is what make this place. The only chipotle in the area where I didn't feel like I was bothering the staff to place my order. if only the internet would allow me to put 0 stars. the first time i went here they were out of everything but white rice, barbacoa, medium sauce and lettuce. the lady working there said they were out of everything else. i asked if more was coming out. she said, "people run out of stuff, don't you know?" i was a bit shook. then some random liquid dripped from a pipe on the ceiling directly into the food. I looked at the ceiling then at her. she shrugs. my friend then orders food and she puts rice into the bowl. she puts the spoon down. picks the spoon back up and takes rice from his bowl and puts it back into the container. I thought this was some kind of joke. Some more people come into the store from our school and we let them know they're out of most things. When they get to the counter they start laughing and look back at us and we start laughing. the worker then shouts at us that it isn't funny. fast forward a year to today. I walk in and they're out of guacamole and cheese. I ask for a bowl with brown rice and no beans. i say no beans twice so she hears. she then puts black beans. i ask her kindly that i wanted no beans. she dumps the bowl. and asks choice of meat. i didn't hear her so i say, "sorry what did you say?" she shouts CHOICE OF MEAT. i was taken back so i started laughing a bit. she then shouts, "IT AINT FUNNY, YALL NEED TO SPEAK UP!" my friends all had poor experiences today as well. they spilled my friends food and gave all of us really poor attitude and the other customers in this franchise. worst chipotle franchise i have ever been to. i love chipotle. but this one isn't worth it. drive to any other chipotle. read more

This used to be my very favorite place to go for a quick, relatively healthy and delicious meal. It is now a complete and TOTAL disgrace, paining me to give it even one star. It used to be standing room only, with waits upwards of 10 minutes to get to the assembly line - and it was WORTH IT. The last time there were more than 3 people in front of me was about 5 months ago. Frequently, they are out of staples, like RICE and chips, and the soda machine usually has post it notes stuck to the choices saying "out of order". With regard to quality, it has also gone down tremendously. The once friendly, attentive, and generous staff is now very slow, sometimes rude, and unapologetic about missing menu items. Where they used to fill the bowls to the point where it was difficult to put the lid on and certainly difficult to eat in one sitting, they now provide a very scant portion of everything and I have actually left HUNGRY even when including a bag of chips with my meal. I don't know why I keep patronizing this place, I keep HOPING it's a fluke each time I go and am disappointed, but now after many disappointing visits I won't return, and due to the not surprising lack of business I see when I do visit, I wouldn't be surprised if this location soon closes. I made the exception of going yesterday with a friend who wanted some Chipotle at lunch time...again I thought....maybe the past 10 visits that were nearly unbearable were just flukes, it's going to be ok. OH MY GOSH.....so we arrive, and stand on line, which is moving very slowly.....waited 10 minutes AFTER my bowl was made before it was given to me to eat....as you can imagine, it had grown quite cold. As we approached the counter, we saw the cashier filling out credit slips and using one of those old credit card machines that takes an imprint of the raised number on the card. When it was finally our turn to pay, cash in hand, we said we can make this quick, we will pay with cash. She told us she still had to write up the slip for inventory. good grief, it took another 5 minutes for her to calculate our total, figure out change and so on. Meanwhile, they assembly line folks were just standing there watching instead of HELPING Her add up totals . . . .the line was not moving at all, so they were not taking new orders, just waiting. and waiting. I am done waiting for this place to improve . . . So sad, I still visit other locations (and one opened up just 5 miles away just a few months ago in the Gateway Shopping center on swedesford road in wayne - have been there and it's "meh") and have not seen the same deterioration that exists at this location on Lancaster Avenue in Wayne. read more

Really disappointed with this chipotle. The staff is not very pleasant. They are always out of one thing or another. The place is NEVER clean and tidy like a restaurant should be. And the worst part is is that every time I go to get a high chair for my son, they are filthy! Whoever runs this place needs to pay more attention. If you know what's good for you do not go to this chipotle. They can't hire decent people, this girl I had talked to me in a really low voice but when her co worker was in the line she shouted to her that she couldn't stand her while making my food. They are stingy on the toppings. One girl I guess was in a sad mood and is mopping and hugging the other workers like excuse this isn't social hour. This was all while making my food. It took her about 6 minutes maybe longer to make my order. Then the lady didn't ask for my rewards card and wouldn't let me get credited. One time I did an online order and these people refused to call me and say they didn't have lettuce. Giant is right down the street, go buy lettuce!!! I wonder who the manager is because they need to reevaluate the staff and train them better I'll never go here again. I've given too many chances I will make the drive to the KOP mall it's much better. I know there's more problems but these made me heated. You have a job, do your job, serve the customers. This is not a hang out or social hour for your friends you all need to be professional and talk loud so your customers can hear you. read more

Solid Chipotle. People complain about the wait and the noise but they key is arriving at the right time. If you arrive at the proper hour, you will be first served in a quiet Chipotle. I have rarely experienced any problem, minus the one time they didn't wrap the burrito correctly, and have always been served with a smile. I would recommend this Chipotle over the one on Dekalb Pike, these guys on Lancaster Ave know exactly what to do and how to do it right! read more
