They were decently fast, I do know sometimes it does get busy so it just depends when all the college students are there. Maybe if the lobby music wasn't so loud the employees would be able to accurately get my order correct. Not bad portions. But it cost nothing for the employees to listen to instructions. I have come here multiple times and many a time I notice that they don't fill up the bowls for female customers but when it's male customers, they give generous servings in the bowls. Today, however, I went to get a bowl and this light-skinned girl mumbled under her breath to take my order, barely made eye contact, and was throwing my food around like slop. I come to this Chipotle all the time and the service here is "ok". They kind of act weird when you order a kids meal. But tonight I came in to get a burrito and I had the best service tonight. I felt terrible for coming in 30 min before they closed but I was craving chipotle. When I came in I asked a girl named Ellia (I probably didn't get that right) but I asked if it was to late to order food. She replied with "Of course not, I would love to help you." JUST WOW. They do not get tipped or any bonuses for being nice. They just have great values and attitude. Made the long haul to Lubbock from Austin for a graduation and was super hungry, full disclosure I tried to go to Torchys but Yelp maps for it took me to a vacanct lot and I glanced over and saw this Chipotle. Kinda sketchy area and dirty parking lot with a couple random people just sitting in their vehicles. I was desperate and hungry. Went in to a dirty empty restaurant. Ordered a bowl and I was told they don't have spinach for greens yet so I opted out of greens because the ice berg lettuce didn't look too fresh. All 3 employees behind the corner were super nice and friendly from ordering all the way to checking out. I got black beans, sofritas and guacamole with a side of hot sauce. Looked like slop and wasn't very fresh but I ate it. The booths were very dirty. I had to clean it to sit down, hurried up and ate and got out of there. This is my least favorite Chipotle in Lubbock. I went today because it was the closest and the proportions I received were awful. I paid 3 dollars for guacamole and got 1/5 spoon of guacamole. In conclusion this chipotle gives you half of the proportions they should be giving you. All the other chipotles in Lubbock give better proportions than this location. This Chipotle is located along side Texas Tech campus in a nicer little area. My first time at this location it took a bit to figure out parking because it's mostly street parking. The parking lots are quite small and the spaces are marked for specific businesses. It's difficult to turn around in the small parking lots upon discovering that there are no available spaces as they seem to be one way in and out. Also adding to the situation especially is many of the young drivers prevalent in the area are zipping around with little regard to others. Parking trouble here as is why this is 4 and not 5 stars. Once inside its a typical Chipotle. It's nice enough although they need some training on the line in 'consistent portioning'. Also they didn't seem to know what to do when they ran out of something. I ordered 5 hours ahead of time, making it easy to head straight from work and skip the line. Paying online ahead of time helps cut down any extra time, too! I am so excited Chipotle has come to Lubbock! Welcome! Chipotle has so much flavor it is unbelievable! I usually go for a chicken burrito bowl. I ask for a tortilla on the side. The portions are huge (about 2 or 3 meals for me) so the bowl lets me take it home and reheat it more easily. If you've never been to a Chipotle before, I liken it to a Subway for burritos and tacos. You pick what goes into your burrito, taco, or quesadilla. Their chips and guac are phenomenol. Never skip them! read more

A coworker and I ordered online at Chipotle's and dined on the patio. They had our food hot and ready as soon as we walked in and the order was prececisely as requested. Their "hot" salsa has an amazing flavor and has a bit of a kick to it. The building was very clean and the employees were extremly courteous and quick. The patio is very nice with extremely large umbrellas that were able to shade several trees. It was surprisingly quiet, but that may have been because of the lack of people. 2.5 This Chipotle is pretty average. The line can definitely move slowly, but it is bearable. Chicken tacos on flour give you the best bang for buck. Chips and guacamole are good, but over priced. There is a small patio, but it usually seems to have an empty table unless it is a football game day. About a seven minute walk from Jones AT&T stadium and a twelve minute walk from the student union building (SUB). If the news reports don't bother you, such as the mice in Dallas, this is a fine place to eat lunch or dinner. read more
