Employee with dark hair in pony tail intentionally took as long as possible for an order. He then had the audacity to say after waiting 10+ minutes that he shouldn't even do the job of putting together the order and that I'm lucky cause I'd have had to wait even longer. He slowly put on his gloves and then pulled them off rang people up while the order was just waiting to be put into a bag. Then he missed the drink on the order and had I not looked the customer would have been without their drink. This place is a disgrace, never have I received such poor customer service. I have never written a bad review, however this time it feels needed. I had a delivery ordered through the app. I had 4 different toppings missing from my bowl. Of the 4 one was guacamole and the other was extra chicken, both of which I paid extra for. I instead got green peppers added, which I never ordered. Again I would usually never complain, but this was entirely wrong. I'm not a picky eater, but this could be a real issue if I had food allergies. My order also came without my drink. I did get a free drink voucher, which I appreciate. However it has an expiration, so it feels as though I have to go back and reorder to use it. Not sure if this was a store issue or delivery driver issue. Again I'd usually never complain and would just happily eat it, but this had several issues I felt couldn't be ignored. read more

Fun Fact: The first Chipotle Mexican Grill opened in Denver, Colorado in 1993! There are over 2,300 Chipotles, now. I'd say the chain has done pretty well in the last 20 years. I'd be shocked to hear if someone has never tried Chipotle. If you haven't, it's a great healthy, quick service and frugal option for a meal. With no extra add-ons, two bowls came out to under $20. That's a huge win nowadays! I'd say this is a quality spot for individuals, pairs and families to stop for a speedy lunch or dinner. There are options for all diets: Vegetarians, Vegans and Carnivores. You can eat in or outside on their patio, pick it up to go, or order ahead and use their burrito loading zones. And it's open until 10pm daily, which is unheard of in Lafayette, CO! read more

I gave one star because I could not give zero stars. I typically love Chipotle, that is until today. I placed an order online and when I got home and opened up the bowl 1) the lettuce was wilted, 2) the guacamole was brown, 3) there were a total of 5 pieces of chicken in the bowl and 4) it looked like they mixed everything together to hide all of these issues. The whole thing looked like it had been regurgitated. So I paid $17 + TIP for something I had to toss in the trash. I should have taken pictures, but I was so disgusted and mad that I just threw the whole thing away. When I contacted chipootlefeeback.com for a refund, the agent told me that they do not give refunds, but they will use this information to train their people. Wow! Sad...I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. As for me, I will never go here again unless they make amends for this waste of my money. UPDATE - I see that "Fia" told me to contact them directly at https://www.chipotle.com/contact-us#report-an-experience. If they had read my review fully they would have seen that I DID do this. And by the way, when you click on this link, it takes you to a FAQ page, not a customer review/feedback page. ( my name is "food" because this is my email for food-relative notifications. my actual name is RJ ) i ordered dinner for my grandparents and i through the app for pick up. we got three bowls and a large queso / chips. their orders were perfectly fine, but mine was messed up. they asked for normal sizing on all of their ingredients, and i asked for extra chicken, rice, and queso. the problem? they received a larger amount than mine, and i asked for double. my bowl looked like they didn't even try and fill it (like i had asked and paid for). will now on just go to qdoba since they've never failed to give me what i pay for.. secondly, when trying to contact their support team. i was only able to talk to AI, which also couldn't even help me since whenever i typed a response, it would say "sorry, i don't understand." like wow, that's real helpful. so i spent extra money to not even get a normal size bowl, and this is their help.. an AI chat or phone call, not even a real. DAMN. PERSON! this had me so frustrated since i hadn't eaten all day and was looking forward to having chipotle for dinner, to which i maybe took 7 - maybe 8 bites, and i had already finished. disappointed is an understatement, especially at this location. This is the closest Chipotle to my house and it is never my first choice. Every time I come here all of the protein is extremely overcooked. The new Chipotle Honey Chicken is always dry and burnt whereas every other location I go to looks exactly like the example imagery and tastes amazing. The line workers are nice but whoever is working the grill needs to be retrained, especially when the meat is burnt during non-peak hours. I would love see this place improve because it's a lot more convenient for me to go here, but until then this location could learn from the Chipotle at the Orchard Town Center, which maintains better quality while having much higher foot traffic. read more

I didn't think it was from the chipotle at first, because it's always pretty fresh.. but after returning a couple days ago and getting food poisoning again, we won't be returning. Previously have had mostly good experiences here (unless the manager girl is there and she is rude and gives comically small portions). This time I went, 10/28/24 around 11:15 and the workers were rude, gave skimpy portions of even the beans, I asked for extra beans and they gave me 3 beans. Since they gave me such small scoops of everything, I ordered an extra side of meat. I will attach a picture of what they gave me for 7 dollars. Awful. I haven't tried chipotle in ages due to several issues in the past. I decided to give it another go. Picked up the order and no one told us we had to get our own drinks we ordered. Just handed us a closed bag with an Empty cup on top. Then I contacted customer service where they refused to give me a refund for the drink/my tip but just adding a "free" drink to my account. I said it's not free--- it's a replacement of an item I purchased. Then I speak to a customer service rep in chat and he literally left the chat and was super rude to me. Horrible customer service and not good service here either. At least tell the customer that we need to get our own drink. Not coming back. read more

Unfortunately, another bad experience to add to the list. I asked for two chicken tacos in a hard shell. I normally get three ingredients: chicken, mild salsa, and lettuce. But today I asked for some pinto beans as well. Then they put the smallest amount of chicken... shockingly small. I couldn't help but wonder if you ask for beans or rice etc., that they think they can get away with giving smaller amounts of meat, but no way to know what is really going on. I have been a Chipotle fan in the past- however we decided to get some yesterday for lunch and I don't think I will be going back anytime soon. I definitely got food poisoning - the food tasted like some type of chemical cleaner. I thought at first it was the table cleaner solution- but then as I started eating I tasted that metal taste more and more and could not get past it. The owner of this place must be hurting for money. It's obvious the staff has be told to skimp on the portions of the main ingredients. I was shocked at the small amount of protein that was dished out to me just now. Talk about an uncomfortable experience at the local corporate feeder-bar. To be blatantly ripped off by a seemingly under paid teenager, with no vested interest in the business is nothing I'll subject myself to again. To top it off, because they don't give you an adequate amount of hot ingredients (Protein) the whole thing ends up cold and immediately soggy. Sigh...I've ordered chipotle way too many times in my life and from this specific store probably 50 times in the last few years. Yes I know I should support local businesses, but the food was good quality, fairly cheap, and the portions were good. However, in the last year, things have gone downhill fast. Burritos which were once advertised as football size have gotten smaller and smaller while prices have at least doubled. For the last order I ordered a double portion of chicken, guacamole and queso. The burrito was literally 5 inches long and mostly rice, and because I used a delivery service, there was no accountability from anybody. I ordered two orders of chips for my family and received one, and their bags of chips which used to be very full now have like 17 chips. I need to just give up on this place forever. The days of Chipotle are over. Corporate greed has won, it's time to find alternatives. read more
