This was the best burrito bowl that I have had! Steak was perfect. The rice was light and fluffy. I only wish there was more guac but overall OUTSTANDING! BEST Chipotle in Colorado! #mrniceguyreviews read more

Employees at this location are very unpleasant, service is extremely poor. If you want chipotle go to a different location. The Lafayette location is simply not worth the money. read more

Scheduled an order for pickup at 11:40 am today to give lunch to a group of painters at our house. Ordered and pre-paid for 4 identical chicken bowls with guacamole, and 1 order of crispy chicken tacos w/a 20% tip. My husband picked up the order shortly after 11:40 am and didn't notice Chipotle shorted our order from four bowls to one; no guacamole in the bowl and no tacos in the extra bag. I couldn't reach anyone at the location by phone to notify them of their goof. Spent 10 minutes on an automated run-around trying to resolve the situation with Corporate while my husband drove 20 min back to the location to get the missing items. I provided the order # with order confirmation sent via email and they still couldn't find the order. They finally found it via my email address and acknowledged their mistake. A lot of hassle and terrible customer service for $80. read more

This place is ROUGH lol I haven't eaten here but I'm a delivery driver, everytime I'm here the staff is just standing around the order station like they got nothing better to do. When I walked in today one employee was yelling and cursing at another & As I stand here now waiting, one employee is playing with the beans can't make this up read more

If I could give it 0, I would. This particular location has so many issues--Especially when it comes to being consistent. Tonight, 6/2/2026, specifically the Barbacoa, which I've probably eaten over 200 times since Chipotle first opened (so I'm familiar), tasted spoiled, rancid, or like they used old meat to cook it, just bad, couldn't even eat it. I hope they get many, many health inspections! I've heard many other issues, raw chicken, etc. Somebody please come fix THIS location! We all want Chipotle in Lafayette, but they have to do better, care more, make a better effort. People put this food into their bodies! No excuses, Chipotle is everywhere, hire better people, do a better job, and care! read more

Employee with dark hair in pony tail intentionally took as long as possible for an order. He then had the audacity to say after waiting 10+ minutes that he shouldn't even do the job of putting together the order and that I'm lucky cause I'd have had to wait even longer. He slowly put on his gloves and then pulled them off rang people up while the order was just waiting to be put into a bag. Then he missed the drink on the order and had I not looked the customer would have been without their drink. This place is a disgrace, never have I received such poor customer service. The front also had a puddle next to the trash can that was there when I visited at noon and still there at past 3pm 12/11/25. read more

Fun Fact: The first Chipotle Mexican Grill opened in Denver, Colorado in 1993! There are over 2,300 Chipotles, now. I'd say the chain has done pretty well in the last 20 years. I'd be shocked to hear if someone has never tried Chipotle. If you haven't, it's a great healthy, quick service and frugal option for a meal. With no extra add-ons, two bowls came out to under $20. That's a huge win nowadays! I'd say this is a quality spot for individuals, pairs and families to stop for a speedy lunch or dinner. There are options for all diets: Vegetarians, Vegans and Carnivores. You can eat in or outside on their patio, pick it up to go, or order ahead and use their burrito loading zones. And it's open until 10pm daily, which is unheard of in Lafayette, CO! read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - veggie bowl w/ side of guac + salsa + sour cream - Mexican Near Me - Lafayette, Colorado

had a very delicious honey, chicken, quesadilla, very filling because it was quite a nice portion!

Wow horrible again Chipotle!! After the competition season we are done with Chipotle! There will be some lame request to send more info, only saying sorry.. absolutely no effort to make it right, responded to by an AI! Chipotle is done with customer service. They care about volume and profit, if you don't like it they don't care, they want to pretend to care. It's a corporate monster go to a local place where they care! read more

I have never written a bad review, however this time it feels needed. I had a delivery ordered through the app. I had 4 different toppings missing from my bowl. Of the 4 one was guacamole and the other was extra chicken, both of which I paid extra for. I instead got green peppers added, which I never ordered. Again I would usually never complain, but this was entirely wrong. I'm not a picky eater, but this could be a real issue if I had food allergies. My order also came without my drink. I did get a free drink voucher, which I appreciate. However it has an expiration, so it feels as though I have to go back and reorder to use it. Not sure if this was a store issue or delivery driver issue. Again I'd usually never complain and would just happily eat it, but this had several issues I felt couldn't be ignored. read more

I gave one star because I could not give zero stars. I typically love Chipotle, that is until today. I placed an order online and when I got home and opened up the bowl 1) the lettuce was wilted, 2) the guacamole was brown, 3) there were a total of 5 pieces of chicken in the bowl and 4) it looked like they mixed everything together to hide all of these issues. The whole thing looked like it had been regurgitated. So I paid $17 + TIP for something I had to toss in the trash. I should have taken pictures, but I was so disgusted and mad that I just threw the whole thing away. When I contacted chipootlefeeback.com for a refund, the agent told me that they do not give refunds, but they will use this information to train their people. Wow! Sad...I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. As for me, I will never go here again unless they make amends for this waste of my money. UPDATE - I see that "Fia" told me to contact them directly at https://www.chipotle.com/contact-us#report-an-experience. If they had read my review fully they would have seen that I DID do this. And by the way, when you click on this link, it takes you to a FAQ page, not a customer review/feedback page. If you want to submit a complaint you have to go through their virtual assistant "Pepper". Get it together Chipotle. This is not how to keep your customers or help your company succeed! read more

( my name is "food" because this is my email for food-relative notifications. my actual name is RJ ) i ordered dinner for my grandparents and i through the app for pick up. we got three bowls and a large queso / chips. their orders were perfectly fine, but mine was messed up. they asked for normal sizing on all of their ingredients, and i asked for extra chicken, rice, and queso. the problem? they received a larger amount than mine, and i asked for double. my bowl looked like they didn't even try and fill it (like i had asked and paid for). will now on just go to qdoba since they've never failed to give me what i pay for.. secondly, when trying to contact their support team. i was only able to talk to AI, which also couldn't even help me since whenever i typed a response, it would say "sorry, i don't understand." like wow, that's real helpful. so i spent extra money to not even get a normal size bowl, and this is their help.. an AI chat or phone call, not even a real. DAMN. PERSON! this had me so frustrated since i hadn't eaten all day and was looking forward to having chipotle for dinner, to which i maybe took 7 - maybe 8 bites, and i had already finished. disappointed is an understatement, especially at this location. ( you'll see in the images what my bowl looked like, and what an actual bowl from chipotle is supposed to look like. and again, I PAID FOR DOUBLE! ) read more

I am a firm believer that there are good chipotles and bad ones. This is a good one. Their ingredients always taste better than other chipotles. read more

Previously have had mostly good experiences here (unless the manager girl is there and she is rude and gives comically small portions). This time I went, 10/28/24 around 11:15 and the workers were rude, gave skimpy portions of even the beans, I asked for extra beans and they gave me 3 beans. Since they gave me such small scoops of everything, I ordered an extra side of meat. I will attach a picture of what they gave me for 7 dollars. Most of the people working there are fine, but there are a few girls there with awful attitudes. read more

Eric the manager was amazing!!! I accidentally threw out my retainer and he dug through the trash with me to find it. We ended up finding it and I am very happy. read more

Last time we ate at this location, we ordered our food to go. Got home and a bug crawled out of my burrito bowl and my wife's steak was rancid. The manager was rude and said "customers normally bring the bowl back and show us the bug." Definitely won't be back. read more

This is the closest Chipotle to my house and it is never my first choice. Every time I come here all of the protein is extremely overcooked. The new Chipotle Honey Chicken is always dry and burnt whereas every other location I go to looks exactly like the example imagery and tastes amazing. The line workers are nice but whoever is working the grill needs to be retrained, especially when the meat is burnt during non-peak hours. I would love see this place improve because it's a lot more convenient for me to go here, but until then this location could learn from the Chipotle at the Orchard Town Center, which maintains better quality while having much higher foot traffic. read more

A couple weeks ago my wife visited this chipotle and got food poisoning. I didn't think it was from the chipotle at first, because it's always pretty fresh.. but after returning a couple days ago and getting food poisoning again, we won't be returning. The guacamole was brown and the lettuce was wilted, not sure what else was bad in our bowls. read more

Slow location. Glacial. App said order was ready.. 30 mins later standing idle. Hire more people or calibrate your app.

Awful. I haven't tried chipotle in ages due to several issues in the past. I decided to give it another go. Picked up the order and no one told us we had to get our own drinks we ordered. Just handed us a closed bag with an Empty cup on top. Then I contacted customer service where they refused to give me a refund for the drink/my tip but just adding a "free" drink to my account. I said it's not free--- it's a replacement of an item I purchased. Then I speak to a customer service rep in chat and he literally left the chat and was super rude to me. Horrible customer service and not good service here either. At least tell the customer that we need to get our own drink. Not coming back. read more

Terrible service. 17 worthless people looking at you doing absolutely nothing. Try paying people a dollar or two more to be there or actually find someone who does for what you pay. Never going to this location again. read more

I don't understand how my order could've gone so wrong. I ordered a bowl through the app and picked up. When I got home I realized the bowl was nothing but rice, beans, sour cream (which I didn't order on it), and like 3 pieces of chicken. It was missing everything I actually did order. What a waste of money. This is not the first time they've gotten it wrong. It'll be the last. I'm don't here. Location used to be good. What happened? read more

Ran out of white rice, messed up by putting queso, then didn't have enough steak to replace order. $16 for a burrito we didn't want. Last time we'll be visiting that chipotle. Trash cans full to the top as well. read more

not good service they didn't have any meats that I wanted and they were rude never coming back

I have been a Chipotle fan in the past- however we decided to get some yesterday for lunch and I don't think I will be going back anytime soon. I definitely got food poisoning - the food tasted like some type of chemical cleaner. I thought at first it was the table cleaner solution- but then as I started eating I tasted that metal taste more and more and could not get past it. I am not sure what happened maybe just a bad day there- but I was sick the rest of the day and the night. read more

Victor in Lafayette was super helpful with my catering order! Appreciate the great service!

This place has gone downhill. Totally messed up order for pickup and we were offered two free drinks at a future visit. We just won't be back. Our order was a sloppy mess with many missing items for $70. We did follow up with the little AI robot chat. We were offered two free sodas at a future visit. AI customer support FAIL. read more

Chipotle as a chain has really gone downhill these past few years. Get your food in person because they skimp on online orders. I just love how I have to tip someone online for doing a subpar job. They barely gave me any meat. I'll be switching to Cava. read more

We ordered from the Lafayette restaurant with a gift card and ordered a burrito bowl, which was short, a fajita burrito that was literally 3 inches long and chips and guac and the guac was brown. Unfortunately, another bad experience to add to the list. I asked for two chicken tacos in a hard shell. I normally get three ingredients: chicken, mild salsa, and lettuce. But today I asked for some pinto beans as well. Then they put the smallest amount of chicken... shockingly small. I couldn't help but wonder if you ask for beans or rice etc., that they think they can get away with giving smaller amounts of meat, but no way to know what is really going on. The reviews don't seem to affect them. But don't give up because of this Lafayette CO Chipotle... other stores in the area are still very good. read more

Another day, another Chipotle review... what to say about this one? It is a Chipotle similar to other Chipotles, identical service. Fortunately, this also means quick service. The owner of this place must be hurting for money. It's obvious the staff has be told to skimp on the portions of the main ingredients. I was shocked at the small amount of protein that was dished out to me just now. Talk about an uncomfortable experience at the local corporate feeder-bar. To be blatantly ripped off by a seemingly under paid teenager, with no vested interest in the business is nothing I'll subject myself to again. To top it off, because they don't give you an adequate amount of hot ingredients (Protein) the whole thing ends up cold and immediately soggy. It's cold to the point that I'm worried I'll get sick from eating it. NASTY. There's plenty of local places to eat tacos and burritos in Lafayette, don't make the same mistake I did. Avoid this location. read more
