I stopped for a late lunch and saw they have plant based protein. I ordered a bowl with different toppings including white rice, black beans and sour cream. I wish they had milder salsas. I topped the bowl with chopped tomatoes. I was impressed with the taste and texture of sofritas. Some tables needed cleaning. The aguas frescas looked delicious and I regret not having bought one. The mandarin one peaked my interest. I shall return to try it. read more

If zero stars were an option, I would use it without hesitation. We had just arrived at the Houston airport, exhausted, starving, and in need of food that could safely accommodate a Type 1 diabetic. Chipotle seemed like a reasonable choice. That assumption was our first mistake. We arrived fifteen minutes before closing. We fully understood that this was not ideal. However, they were still actively serving customers at the counter. Despite being open, the closing manager refused to let any member of our party use the restroom, even though there were still ten minutes left. Denying restroom access to paying customers, one of whom is diabetic, is not just inhospitable, it is indefensible. It got worse. The four employees on duty refused to grab lettuce from the refrigerator to accommodate that same Type 1 diabetic customer. The food was there. The staff was there. The willingness to provide even minimal service was completely absent. Although the employees remained inside to continue cleaning and closing, we were told we could not eat indoors. We understood they did not want to seat new diners late. But all we asked for was a bench or table to rest our exhausted feet while we ate the food we had just paid for. That request was denied. We moved outside to sit at the cafe tables on the patio, only to have an employee open the side door and announce they would be removing the metal chairs and bringing them inside. At that point, we resigned ourselves to eating over the hood of our rental car like scavengers, hunched over burritos and a quesadilla that barely qualified as food. And speaking of that quesadilla, how do you mess up a quesadilla? Apparently by serving a barely crisp tortilla wrapped around a thin and depressing smear of cheese that was somehow both scorched and unmelted at the same time. Shards of cold cheese hid beneath a lukewarm layer of barely melted disappointment. It was culinary apathy in tortilla form. We finished eating at exactly eleven fifteen pm, the moment they closed. Had I been the night manager, I would have done two very radical things. First, I would have allowed paying customers to use the restroom. Second, I would have allowed them to sit at two tables while staff finished cleaning, then politely unlocked the door when they were done. That small courtesy would have left us grateful, impressed, and eager to praise the hospitality of the four gentlemen working on January second, twenty twenty six at ten forty two pm. Instead, here we are. This Chipotle on North Highway managed to turn our first experience in Houston into a case study in how not to treat customers, especially those with legitimate medical needs, while still technically being open. read more

Completely disappointed with this location. The staff is so nice but it doesn't make up for my order being wrong for a second time in 3 weeks. I get the veggie burrito bowl as I don't like to eat meat and the main part of the bowl is the Fajita veggies. I received none on my bowl and I asked for extra. I understand if they were out but they should let the customer know that so we can supplement it with more lettuce or other veggies. My co workers bowl was also missing items like chicken. read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - Veggie Bowl - Fast Food Near Me - Houston, Texas

Employees rushing throwing food around small portions and rushing to get you out the door

Ordered lunch for my Houston safety team via door dash. We had it delivered to the Holiday Inn since we were working from the lobby area today. Door Dash is awesome. We ordered two bowls, and two burritos. Everyone enjoyed their food. It was fresh and delicious. Worthy of a bookmark and a try if you're passing through, or if you live or work near-by. read more

Omg, we went in, and there were flies all over the place. The service line was super dirty, and the back prep table had crumbs scattered all over it with dirty food containers all over the place. We scoped out a bit just to make sure we didn't see flies on the line, and when it came time to order, the young lady literally wiped rice from the dirty line back into the food containers. We walked out and will never visit this lo ation again. I might would say they had an excuse not to be more tidybut it was 3 in the afternoon, and the store was practically empty. It is absolutely nasty and disgusting that the establishment is run in such poor standards read more

Made an online order, said it was ready at 10:50. They didn't even start until 10:58. The assembly station for mobile order is right next to to station for ordering in person. And the literally put half as much ingredients into the mobile order bowls vs the in person. Unbelievable! The inconsistency is astounding and such a scam. Would never recommend this Chipotle to anyone unless they would like to NOT get their moneys worth and wait 25 minutes for food that takes seconds to prepare... read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - The chip bag is full of air? Lol - Fast Food Near Me - Houston, Texas

Quick, delicious, and clean. What else do you expect from a fast-ish food establishment? They do a swell job! When I order online and get there, my food is always ready. If I eat in, I will admire the craft of the making of my burrito. They have a great selection and great quality food items during the lunch hour. They are fast which is appreciated since during lunch hour they are really packed! So don't expect to easily find a seat. Honestly, they are probably one of my favorite chipotles, I never feel like they are short cutting me on my bowl or tortilla. Very consistent in recreating the menu. read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - Horrible - Fast Food Near Me - Houston, Texas

Here for company business from California. I ordered a bowl and very surprised how small their portions are on everything, my bowl is just half full. The workers are great and very polite i just wish they would give more serving. read more

As much as I paid for the food I should have had enough to full my bowl. 10 of 10 don't recommend this location !!!

This loci is extremely stingy with their servings, they give you the smallest amount of whatever your protein options are. The people who serve the food are not friendly, but the cashier is. I also got chicken twice and the first time it tasted flavorful and the second it didn't. So they're not consistent w the recipe. read more

This spot has different service every time, for this visit- I ask for just a bit more chicken & I kid you not the worker literally put half a spoon more of chicken & charges $2.50 extra for chicken. I understand when you ask for more you should get charged more but COME ON! Seriously? Plus i'm already getting the steak bowl & they charge more for the steak bowl vs the chicken. I literally only go to this spot because it's 2 mins from my job but if not, wouldn't go here read more

Love love they're food every since I've been in Houston I love a food Once you start a new you don't come back more

Sure wish there was a no star option, these people are so rude, the lady behind the counter never greeted me, instead she was short and rude the entire time, they also messed my food up multiple times. I would not recommend these people at all. read more

Quality is ok - not as good as it used to be. The frustrating part is the inconsistency of quantity for how much is spooned out into the bowl. For the amount of money it costs, it's disappointing to see the server attempt to only give a small amount of chicken, of guacamole, etc. When done right, the quantity is worth the money; the food is decent enough; and the chips are usually good (though lately I keep getting bags of stale and wet chips). The one thing I STILL don't appreciate is the Kidd is so loud more often than not that you can't even have a conversation with someone across the table. So far I still return though bc the food is still worth it. read more

Ordered a salad bowel and mineral water. I accidentally got charged the amount the previous customer failed to pay. I'm aware mistakes will happen every now and then so it was no big deal for me. The way Cynthia and the manager quickly caught and handled the situation was both swift and professional. They apologized and gifted me free items. Amazing and sweet staff. From the dude that started my bowel, to the manager who took care of the problem; thank y'all. The food was delicious. I'll definitely be eating here more often. Ordered: 11/03/20 9:07PM read more

Food is amazing, quantity was amazing BUT how you expect me to eat it this? I had work and don't have enough time to drive back for a fork on top of that my car overheats, so I had to eat it with my hands. Service was okay but pls don't forget utensils! read more

It's not the best Chipotle I've been to, but it is at a convenient location and the workers are okay. The quality of the chicken is inconsistent. I was impressed that the chicken is done relatively well compared to the South Shepherd location during my first visit, but I was underwhelmed by how bland and tasteless it was the second time around. Overall, it is still a decent alternative to other Chipotle locations in the surrounding area. read more

5/5 times they will skip your online/mobile order and have you wait the online wait time plus however much they are busy at in the store

I'm having to give a one star because of the portion of food I received. It is disrespectful and I am infuriated. I came on April 10, at 11 am. The boy who made my burrito was giving spoons that were literally not even halfway full of every single thing that I asked for. At the end of the line I expressed my disgust to the manager (when she said "how are you today sir) and she ignored me completely after I said that. I will not return to this chipotle. There are periods in my life when I go to chipotle 2x per day, 7 days a week. I don't even usually write reviews but this upset me to the point where I had to say something. I spend too much money here to be disrespected like that. And on top of it all, they make damned sure to charge me for guac and queso. With the prices they charge, I expect a heaping scoop of whatever I ask for; at the very MINIMUM, at least- 1 FULL scoop. It's a shame because this chipotle is conveniently located by my work but next time I will drive the extra miles to the next closest chipotle. read more

I really like eating there but sent they open I have been disappointed. That is the closest one to my house. They are always out of something and they don't be making anymore. Then they don't fill the bowl up like all the other. At the other ones I go to I cannot eat the hold bowl in one sitting. The one on West Road I can. Will have to find another one to go too. read more

They just opened so I hope this is the reason why they are extremely understaffed, and are giving mediocre service. Ordered online as I usually do when ordering Chipotle, yay! yummy goodness is on its way! WRONG!!! I walk into total chaos, there is a line out the door, so I walk up to the register cause I ordered online, and no one greets me, or acknowledged me, the four people working are running around like chicken without a head. A woman that looks like she may be the manager yells at a girl "jump on my register!", the girl ask if I ordered online, and gives me my order. It gets worse, I get back to my office, and start to enjoy my bowl, and at first bite I realize the sofritas is ice cold, and my chips were stale. So I threw it away, so no money, no food, and I'm still hungry. I come to Chipotle for consistency, I see, I will not be getting it here, so I will not be coming back. read more

This was my first time visiting this location and while the service was great, the food was not. The staff in this location is very friendly and kind. They also well mannered and my customer service they deliver was very appreciated. The food, however was a disappointment! I order 2 bowls and a salad. The rice is extremely hard and inedible. It ruined the whole dish. I couldn't move past how hard the rice was. Plus, I ordered chips and guacamole. The chips was stale! It had no crisp. For $34+ this was wasted money. The salad was okay. read more

This Chipotle haven't been open too long and I have to say every time I've went here, my experience was horrible. They are either out of food/ingredients, serve old hard chicken that appear to have sat there all day, or give you SO LITTLE FOOD it's not even enough to feed a child. I love chipotle but this particular one gets a hands down. I returned today to see if anything changed, but nope it hadn't. I got little food that didn't even cover the bottom of my bowl and they were out of the red hot sauce smh. I guess I'll be driving to the Spring location from now on. read more

STAY AWAY- JUST DON'T DO IT- DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!! This place just can't get it right and they don't care. I've received the wrong food every time! Wrote them off after the first wrong order 6 months ago, but decided to try again because the kids were begging for Chipotle. I called this "restaurant" immediately after receiving the wrong food. When I finally managed to get thru, the "manager" Mark told me I had to drive there if I wanted my food corrected. WHAT? I ordered for DELIVERY - if I could go there, I wouldn't have ordered for delivery! Then he tells me if I want a refund I have to contact customer support on their website. Well, custome4 support doesn't want to help either. They make it so difficult to report the problem that you are likely to give up before you finish. Well, I did finish and I'm still waiting for their agent to contact me. TRUST ME JUST STAY AWAY or they will take your money and all you will get is crap! NEVER AGAIN. I usually don't write reviews, but I hope I can save at least one person from losing their money here. I work hard for my money, and Chipotle should work hard to get my business. read more
