Unfortunately, this was the first time I felt I needed to say something. The food was delicious but the staff made me feel bad about ordering. As if I was inconvenient. They were impatient and I seemed to be bothering them asking for specific things for my large order. It's definitely hit or miss with staff there, and occasionally it will prevent us from ordering food. The food is awesome. read more

Could the people working there care any less probably not. Could they be any worse trained probably not. We ordered 15 meals for pick up. Multiple bags of food receipt shows napkins and utensils but of course, as soon as we unload it for everyone to eat no utensils. OK, people make mistakes drive the 10 minutes back to get them, no sorry no concept of customer service they couldn't care less. read more

Found a nail in my chicken. I'm highly discussed and appalled that something like this could possibly happen. This establishment is a great disappointment to the chipotle name and chain! one star. read more

I've ordered from here multiple times and every time something is missing. With the prices they charge, that's unacceptable. MULTIPLE times. Will not order again. Zero ambiance. Service inside is usually ok. Food is stupid pricy anymore. Usually good, but NEVER order delivery. Items will be haphazardly thrown together or completely missing. read more

We were looking forward to having Chipotle's on Thursday. Hadn't been there since COVID. We were able to park on the front row near the entrance. Walked in, noticed the flooring was darkened and stools broken, missing or leaning. Got in line and notice fewer staff, chicken and I hope or meat loaded tightly on the grill. Looked for my favorites and noticed how sloppy the food was, hanging out all along the narrow countertop. The single server was scooping it out and slopping it on. No apparent clean up. We decided....Ooops! We ...cannot....eat...here. Disappointing. We left !!!!!!. I give it 1 in order to Post. read more

Chipotle is my go to after work when I don't feel like cooking. The quality has really gone down. It doesn't look clean. The last time I was there, the grill was not cleaned and seem to have chicken bits all over it. The lettuce is always brown and wilted.. I have to ask for fresh lettuce. The guacamole was brown. The servers are always attentive and nice though. Come on Chipotle Dover, please do better. read more

The place was pretty empty but it was clean and the staff was super efficient and kind. Also let me say that it was about 45 minutes until they closed. Glad we made it from Detroit just in the Nick of time! My daughter loved her food. read more

when a place is open till 11 and you get there at 1030, it shouldn't appear the restaurant is closed. walked in and they were out of all, but one meat and it was crusted over garbage scraped off the bottom. Most of the other food was also gone and there wasn't enough of anything to make 1 burrito. Definitely do not recommend this location. I understand why it has such terrible ratings. read more

The food is so good!! service really good they're super nice and they get your food quick they never get your order wrong! The ambience is good. It's usually not busy. There's only a few people there at a time.! I definitely recommend to go here read more

The overall attitude of the staff often seems lacking, and I've noticed that the portions of meat served are consistently smaller than expected. It feels like they rush through the service, giving only half a spoonful. When I ask for a little more, I'm told there's an additional charge. read more

We went here for dinner and we both ordered a steak salad bowl for $9.50. I ordered guacamole which they charge an additional $2.50 for and a splash of sour cream which they charged another dollar for. Gosh I felt like I was getting nickeled and dimed. If you look at my bowl it's nearly empty. I didn't even get a full scoop of steak which I paid $9.50 for. The guacamole was tasty but there really wasn't anything else to mix with it. Once I recognized I spent $12 on this bowl half empty bowl I was really disappointed by by the experience. To top it off they dont offer a military discount being located in a military town. Chipotle, what are you doing? I wish I could say they were busy, that our sever was being rushed but honestly there was only my husband, myself and 1 other person in line. read more

Honestly this chipotle is terrible, I come all the time hoping it would be better the next time. Everytime I get a bowl the person never gives me a full spoon of chicken and then I have to ask for extra and it's still half a spoon and I'm charged double. It's unreal how small the portions are, never had this problem at any other chipotle read more

First time to Chipotle Dover Delaware. Not a good experience. Tall guy on the line and girl with glasses on the line. Absolutely RUDE! The guy clearly did not want to be at work today and he was just an @ss. Didn't want to hear what you said. Asked a question and he pointed to move down the line and went to the next customer. The girl not much better again rushed us through the line when it was very slow time. Paid $2.45 for guacamole and this is the little dollop I got. Not happy. John and Anna read more

This location is awful. I ordered a burrito online and it came with so much cross contamination of other ingredients that I did not order. I hate onions, and found two large onion chunks in my food, as well as corn. My appetite was ruined after I couldn't taste anything but onion. I also requested double steak, but it came out as 90% rice. I definitely did not get what I paid for. The steak also had a lot of chewy fat pieces on it that I had to spit out. All of these complaints from only the half of a burrito I was able to eat should be enough for you to steer clear of this place. read more

I can kinda sorta see the attraction here. Relatively healthy food, well seasoned, and filling. But the way you have to order it makes your enthusiasm decline with each ticking moment. A long line, sometimes wrapping around the building. And then you order station-by-station (rice, a choice of meat, which salsa, etc etc) and don't DARE go out of the order that has been decreed by the inventors (shhh McD) of the Chipotle Method. After you go through this assembly line, anyone with a lick of sense can tell we're getting fast food, made to order, but pre-cooked nonetheless. I had a burrito bowl with steak and it was relatively well flavored; the salsa had some kick and it was very filling. My dining companion (a good cook) liked his a lot, and went home to reinvent it for his own dinner table. The decor is pseudo-hip-recycled-plywood no frills, but if you examine the chairs (uncomfortable flat platforms) and the walls which look like bolted-on plywood, you will see they are specially manufactured for Chipotle and as for being green and recycled, probably not. It's a faux we're-so-green look that makes me kind of depressed. That, and the ridiculous cafeteria line, and I just don't feel the urge to visit much. But they won't miss me, as they are right across the street from the Del State U campus and students who are health conscious like this place. And the beans ARE fiber-rich and good, I'l admit. read more

This place deserves more stars. The food was extremely fresh and the portion sizes were very generous - much better than the chipotle we usually go to. read more

This is become my go-to-fast-food restaurant. The food is tasty and healthy if you choose the right combinations. Used to come here years ago and for no real reason, just started going to other places in the area to eat. The parking lot is a decent size. When you enter, there is generally a line, but the line usually moves fast. The ordering of food is set-up like an assembly line. You start with the bowl or however you want the order to be made. Then you choose selections to add to your order. There are days that the staff are attentive & there are days that they are not. This is a bit inconsistent. I have not ever eaten in the restaurant, I always get my food to go, therefore I will not provide a rating based upon the service or the tables while eating in the restaurant. In my most recent visit, we had Burrito Bowls with Brown Rice, Chicken, Sautéed Veggies, Corn and Hot Salsa. I always get mild salsa to go along with Guacamole. The Guacamole is kinda a treat for me :). I have found the food to be fresh and tasty for a fast food restaurant. This is not in anyway not a fast food establishment. Because if inconsistent service, I am providing three stars. If the service was more consistent, I would have given them four stars. The four stars are for the healthy alternative to the other fast food places and for food that is tasty for fast food that is healthy. read more

I always enjoy my burrito bowl but sometimes the chicken n steak r cold and then if u order chips n guac it's like $5 but u get like 8 chips not worth it. Easy pick up for online orders, condiment station always dirty or out of stock but now I think they closed it for COVID. read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill really came through for us today. The food was good and very well put together. They definitely has a well organized team today. Definitely wasn't disappointed. When I entered the building there were about 13 to 15 people in front of me, I looked down to answer a text a minute or two after waiting in line, and when I looked back up, there were only two people in front of me, and they had already completed their order. The crew moved so fast, I was shocked. The service was excellent and the staff was amazing! read more

Horrible service. Rude food prep people. Received a bowl with all cold food in it. Steak pieces were So small employee refuses to put extra in bowl. Scantly put together with all ingredients. Guacamole was solid piece of avacado in two separate containers. Chips were stale. Place was very dirty sofa station was covered in trash. I may never go back. Appalling. I've been to this location many times before but today was awful. I walked in with no real line and they inform us they're out of chicken. That's no big deal. It happens. I proceed to order a steak bowl and received pinto bean juice instead of actual beans and very little rice. I get to checkout and the cashier is less then enthused. She's slow and obviously does not care. She then forgets to give me my chips and then is bothered by me asking for them. Lastly, the soda Stanton is trashed with trash in the straw holder. I go and ask for straw to the same unenthusiastic cashier who instead of acknowledging me, walks away to the back and then proceeds to pass me to fill the straw holders I paid $20 for shit. read more

LONGEST WAIT OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. That's what happens when you visit a state that lacks other franchises.. The team working were polite, the type of people that were in line visiting this chipotle were rude and disgraceful. This is in a big shopping plaza and we only stopped because we figured it was later in the day there would not be a long line, I was wrong, and from now on our roadtrip pit stops will not be in Delaware. We must find somewhere that isnt crowded with a bunch of college kids. read more

It's a chain restaurant Chipotle. It's busy at lunch and after work, but the workers try their best to get you through the line as quick as possible. The best way to get more bang for your buck is to double up on ingredients. I.e. Half brown /half white rice, two kinda of meat, black/pinto beans, two kinds of salsa (try the corn, it gives a spectacular flavor boost), and your cheese, sour cream, lettuce and (yes, you know it's extra) guacamole. (Oh! And get a side of vinagrette, it adds a sweet and tangy finish) read more

This was my first time in a Chipolte and after this meal it will not be my last! I did find it weird that they don't have a location in Wilmington but that they have on in Dover! I was down for race weekend and was a in need of food STAT so i decided to stop in. I ordered the veggie tacos which came three to an order which was more than enough for me. They are a little stingy w/ the rice but the beans and other additions were plentiful. My order rang in for a mere 6.25 without drink or chips ( the extra calories were not need) Id def come back the ingredients were fresh my tacos were delicious and the service was pretty friendly. I took my comida to go but they have outdoor seating and the inside sitting area was very clean. read more

I'm typically a fan of Chipotle. The locations I've been to back in AZ and in IL are a little different than this one. Here the service seemed fairly slow compared to what I'm used to, despite the fact they had a sufficient number of people working at the counter. I think the hold up was at the register. I'm not a fan of the new decor sprouting up at Chipotle either. A couple of the newer locations have communal seating at large tables. Thanks, but I rather eat with my own party rather than a group of strangers. Food was just as good as the other locations I've been to. So, if you can live with the slow service and the communal seating you're in! read more
