Today, I spent almost $35 on food. I ordered two bowls--one was a double portion and the other was a normal size, both with steak. I specifically asked the food server to separate the guacamole from the bowls and place it in two cups on the side. I also added chips, salsa, and an extra side of guacamole, which should total three cups of guacamole. I'm aware that there is an extra charge for the guacamole. However, in the bag, I found one guacamole cup and a salad dressing that I hadn't ordered. When I asked the gentleman about the side cups, he seemed confused. I understand that good service in a fast-paced environment can be challenging, but I did pay for my food. Initially, the cashier, Ana, was pleasant, but her attitude changed, and she became uncooperative. I felt she was dismissive of what was supposed to happen. On the other hand, the gentleman managing the online orders was helpful and worked to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, this will be the last time I do business at this location. I ordered a kid's meal and didn't check my order. As I was leaving after getting the bag, the female manager screamed at me to come back as I was opening the door to leave. I looked around to make sure she was referring to me. "Hey you, yeah you! Come back here!" I went back in & she had the audacity to snatch the bag from me. It is a shame what has happened to this Chipotle. It is in a nice area, nice shopping center with other good places to go. For those who won't read the whole thing: Customer service is the worst I've seen. If you can go somewhere else, you should. Every time you order they have an awful attitude here. You can order online or in store, they have terrible attitudes, give dirty looks and are overall unpleasant. The attitude alone makes me avoid this place. Which I think is their goal because they get very bothered when they have to serve anyone. Not to mention there's always something wrong with the order. Went to this chipotle yesterday evening with my 19 month old. Was feeding him and didn't want to leave him at the table by himself since he'd make a mess and touch everything on there. I nicely Asked the chipotle worker (she was black with glasses if I remember correctly) who was wiping the table next to me if she could do me a favor and get a straw for me please once she's done since I'm a bit tied up...She responded "I'm busy at the moment and we are not a restaurant." Went to this location after a hard work out. When my sister and I walked in no one greeted us and all three workers stared at us like we just walked in before closing... it was 8 pm. I ordered a side of chips and guac and the worker told me that they don't sell the chips in store? They had an entire shelf of chips lined up as well as having them on the menu but somehow they wouldn't sell them to me. The inside looked so trashed to the point that they had to put a sign by the soda machine where the little cups are for sauce that said, "NOT GARBAGE." Other than being hella dirty on the inside, I would not mobile order again. I cant speak for the other employees but the mobile order dude, hella lazy. Man oh man...... coming from a workout after work , my pregnant wife wanted a bowl so I stopped by ordering my regular burrito with two helpings of Barbacoa. After watching one of the workers add extra hot sauce ,when I ask not to, I didn't mind and just asked for a little more sour cream, which she added and was very nice about it! Sadly she couldn't wrap the burrito well and then asked if it was ok for her to double wrap it ,which I completely understood and agreed to. This is where it gets heinous -after a couple more attempts ,she couldn't make the burrito again and moved it from the main counter to the back counter ,asking for help from someone else .This woman was African American (most likely mixed )and not over 5"5. I only mention the description so that she will receive some refreshed training. I'm so sorry to write this i didn't want to.... But to double look over your shoulder ,make eye contact with me ,dump half my burrito out ,then roll it hastily with no gloves on as if I'm not watching you,and give a smirk to your giggling accomplice -which turns and notice I'm watching -is heart wrenching. Today, around 12:30 PM, I visited your Dobbs Ferry location and ordered three tacos. The first staff member I interacted with handled my order with care. However, I noticed that the second staff member applied an excessive amount of sour cream to the tacos, more akin to what would be used in a bowl. When I mentioned this, her response seemed to convey frustration. I suggest that she receive additional training on customer service to enhance the overall customer experience. Went with my husband to get the new brisket tacos and bowl. Upon entering I saw that every table was filthy and had not been cleaned. Before I ordered I told the server we were eating inside and to please have someone clean the tables. She said she would. I travel a lot for work; I mean, I travel a LOT for work. This means I stay in a lot of hotels, and I eat at a lot of restaurants, for 30+ consecutive days at a time. This is one of the reasons that I decided to join Yelp, so that I could share my experiences with people who maybe don't get out so much. I'm older, and the Covid-19 situation has really altered what I feel is important about the places I stay and the places I eat. Restaurants need to be following CDC guidelines. They need to be clean, they need to practice social distancing, and the staff need to wear masks, or I'm not eating there. Period. So. Last night I decided to visit Chipotle here in Dobbs Ferry NY, as it's within walking distance of the hotel. From the outside, it looks like every other Chipotle, which is to say that it looks good. A few people standing around outside, apparently waiting for their orders, practicing social distancing and all wearing masks, which is great to see. Then I walk in, and I'm not so impressed. There were groups of people milling around inside the place; too many people and they're too close together. Some of the customers are not wearing masks. But by far the most glaring error is in the pickup kiosk (since I had decided to order my meal online and bring it back to my room). The shelves with to-go orders is right up by the area where customers are placing and picking up their orders. This creates a real bottleneck, where people are within very close proximity to one another as some are looking at the shelves trying to figure out which carryout order is theirs, and others are placing and picking up their impromptu orders. I couldn't wait to get my bag and leave, holding my breath the whole time. I'd ordered a solo soft taco, with a side of chips and guacamole. The taco itself was very good, but I almost had to throw away the guacamole after taking a scoop and finding jalapeños...but it turned out to be a few diced chunks on the top, and the rest of the cup was pepper-free (I have a sensitive palate). In pre-pandemic times, this would have been a more positive, and shorter, review. But this is now, and restaurants have to take precautions to ensure the safety of their customers, or they'll lose them. Chipotle, at least at this location, has lost my business. And it's a shame, because they're so close...but I will drive out of my way to have a safe experience. You should, too. read more

So this one star review is not for the food. It wasn't bad. I ordered the chicken burrito bowl. All of the ingredients were fresh except for the chicken. I was watching the guy scrape the bottom of the chicken tray and when I got back to my hotel room, I was eating burnt and dried ends that I would spit out. The bowl was tolerable. My critical gripe is with the cashier. She got my order but never greeted me. She proceeded to ring up my order but didn't ask me if I wanted anything else. I proceeded to ask for 2 sides of guacamole. She asked her coworker to get it for me, but he was busy with another customer so after about 30 seconds, she let out a sigh, went to wash her hands, put on some gloves, and grab the guacamole for me. She went back to the register to ring me up and didn't ask me if I wanted anything else. I then told her that I wanted a couple of sodas. She let out another sigh and grabbed the sodas and put them on the table. While the register was running my credit card, she got a bag and put all of my items into the bag except for the sodas. She didn't thank me and then just walked away. I then asked if I could get a receipt and a bag for the 4 sodas. I heard another sigh and then she rolled her eyes and just handed me a bag. She didn't even put the sodas into the bag. I had to do it myself. What's the deal? If you are having a bad day or hate your job, then do another job. I am a paying customer and deserve way more respect than you afforded me during my visit. I have never felt so disrespected at Chipotle, ever. read more

Hands down the worst chipotle. I go back because of distance to my home but am always disappointed. Ordered two kids chicken quesadilla meals which usually come with tortillas, rice, chicken and corn on the side in addition to a drink. Order was to go and when I got home was so upset as there was no drink and only a pathetic tortilla with rice. No corn no chicken and no decency on the part of the staff to inform me of the substitutions (or should I say omissions) that they did on their on accord. My recommendation is to stay away from Dobbs Ferry and go to Scarsdale if you really want chipotle. It will likely be worth the extra few miles. I only gave one star because that's the lowest rating. I would have given zero stars if I could read more
