I see this isn't uncommon but this was the worst chipotle experience ever. It was almost comical when we walked in and the staff stared at us for a whole minute until we had to ask for help. Not sure who was working but between this young dude who was rude and the blonde girl at the register they solidified this review- just awful. I placed my order online for my pregnant fiance and myself. After the app said it was done I came in store just to find out that they were still making the steak. I waited 20 mins for the steak to be done. I notified the manager the inconvenience we experienced with the Chipotle app saying that the food was ready and it was not. I approached her kindly and immediately she shut me down saying there is nothing she could do. This has to be the worst chipotle location I've ever been to. From the food quality to the service. The employees rush when no one is even in line. My 3rd and last time I will be at this location, the woman making my bowl stopped listening to what I wanted in my bowl and didn't put lettuce in my bowl because she was too busy flirting with the girl checking people out. They clearly prioritize coworker conversation over doing their job. Aside from horrible service, the quality of the ingredients fall short as well. I'm not sure why Chipotle has such poor reviews. I've only been to this specific location once but I have eaten at the chain multiple times. In my experience it's a quality restaurant that serves delicious and healthy food. It's much better for you a lot of the other junk out there. One of the best things about Chipotle is that there is great gluten free, dairy free, and meals - that actually taste good! Chipotle's food could be incorporated into almost anyone's regular diet perfectly. As for this specific location, it looked pretty nice. There was some messy tables but that might have been because no one had a chance to clean it up yet. I suppose they could benefit from an additional staff member to keep things clean. Thankfully there was nice seating options outside for us to enjoy. The location is also easily accessible and has plenty of parking. read more

Needed a quick bite to eat on the way home after skiing at Elk Mountain all day. Chipotle is always a go-to, especially when it's Sunday and Chick-Fil-A is closed. The line was very short and I picked out what I wanted in my burrito. The employees were very kind and the tables were clean. The Chipotle food never disappoints. The only thing holding me back from a 5 star review is the floors. The floors were messy, I assume from the worker sweeping what was on the tables down to the floor. I have a bunch of food allergies and can usually count on Chipotle as a go-to while traveling, though sometimes I have to leave out ingredients and can't. communicate my needs exactly, and the portions tend to be small so I usually order two salads to be safe (I wish I could just order extra lettuce/veggies and would be happy to pay more for that, but it's never an option online). I ordered two vegetarian salads with fajita veggies, and when they arrived, they were literally less than 1/4 full each with a few chopped tomatoes and a sprinkle of lettuce. No fajita veggies at all, no communication that they were out. Not counting tip and tax, I paid over $30 for less than one cup of shredded lettuce and a few tomatoes. I'm also staying in a hotel and had to eat this "dinner" with my hands because I didn't get any utensils or even napkins. And my bag was leaking. Like why would anyone do this? Also I'm in Scranton, and it's a Monday night so literally nothing I can order/eat without getting super sick is open still. For the love of Christ, do not ever order delivery from this place. I have been to this chipotle multiple times and I kid you not every time they forget an item form my order, a few times it's been chips this time it was queso. I paid for the item so I expect the item and the customer service you get when you call is just a robot. I live 30 minutes away and I'm about to start asking you guys to reimburse me for my trips. I typically check the order so it hasn't been that big of a deal but today I was feeling sick and didn't till I got home. I was raised with a diabetic mom and if she were the one ordering you guys would've sent her to the hospital by now due to low blood sugar if she needed food badly. Workers are miserable as always, food under seasoned. I got a burrito which was heated too long and fell apart, the serving of chicken was so small and a half scoop of rice as well. Rude worker gets mad if you ask for more since you didn't get a proper serving. my husband and I dined here today and the place is filthy. We should have left as soon as we entered but hadn't seen the place like this before and decided to stay. 70% of the tables for dining were filthy, floors had trash and where you pick your drinks had disheveled straws and napkins all over the counter. To our amazement a girl came out from behind, stood on a step stool and started to clean the windows, I mean the windows really up high! What about where your customers dine??? I asked to talk to the manager and a girl identified herself as such, when I pointed out the dirty tables, she told me only one table was dirty and she walked away from me. Average at best. The chicken on my burrito was kind of dry. I ordered chips and queso with my take out order and they forgot to put the chips in the bag. With the drink it came to about $19. For the same amount I could have gotten a platter from a local place containing 4 different enchiladas with sides of rice and refried beans plus chips and salsa. I would still have to add the cost of a drink, but comparatively Chipotle is a mediocre value. I called the local number but the call went to a call center. They told me they would send me a coupon if I sent them a copy of my bank statement as proof of purchase. I thought that requirement was a bit excessive . I went to site the next day and they gave me the chips and a fresh queso no problem. The queso it self was absolutely flavorless. The matrix code for their queso is totally broken. read more

My family and I typically stop at this Chipotle a couple of times each year on our way from along Island to see family in upstate NY. Every time we stop here, it is clean and the food is always fresh. Even more incredible though is how friendly the staff is. I have noticed on several occasions how personable they are with the customers (remembering what 'regulars' eat, making eye contact and friendly conversation, etc). They even remembered us (even though we only come every few months). It is such a nice change of pace to walk into such a friendly atmosphere! read more

We moved here in August and were SHOKED at the absence of many big food chains, but held out hope knowing that Chipotle was just around the corner! Today marks the first of many visits! To my surprise this is the few free standing ones I have ever seen. It's situated in the Viewmont Mall Area and a little off the beaten path but worth the drive. Was great to get a taste of Colorado Home in PA. If you've not stopped in, get on it! You'll be glad you did! Fresh, and flavorful! If you care to try it my way...
