I like Chili's the most - of the "big 3". This is a new location - recently built of the old footprint of the previous Pizzeria Uno". Nice place. Good layout with lots of room/seating. Service was very attentive, although they did try to seat us right by the front door. We asked to a booth. No "happy hour" to speak of. We got the free Chips and Salsa. Man, were they salty. Food was good. I had the Triple Dipper. My wife had the Quesadilla Salad. Will return the next time we're up here. read more

Our server, Grace, was very nice, kind, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. She handled everything with a positive attitude and provided excellent customer service from start to finish. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. Even the complimentary chips and salsa were not enjoyable. The chips were extremely salty and oily, and the salsa was also overly salty. Things only went downhill from there. I first ordered the Crispy Chicken Crispers, which were horrible and not enjoyable at all. After that, I tried the fajitas, hoping for a better experience, but they were just as bad. The steak and shrimp did not taste like quality ingredients, and the entire dish was excessively greasy and salty. I simply could not eat it. This was two strikes with two different meals, and because of that, I will not be returning to this location or any other Chili's restaurant. The best part of our visit was Grace. She remained professional, courteous, and accommodating despite the issues with the food. She truly deserves special recognition, praise, or even a raise for the outstanding job she did. The service staff was amazing. They earn an entire bonus star, as the food probably ranked about three in my opinion. The place was very busy, and fairly loud. It was a bit difficult to get around everywhere. But I do get that's just how it can be at a busy restaurant. The food was good. Not great, but good. We had The Dipper trio, and got the sliders, fried mozzarella, and honey Chipotle chicken crispers. Chicken was pretty good, one of them was slightly undercooked, but only enough that the texture was a bit off, not enough to be dangerous to eat. The sliders were okay, definitely more greasy than necessary. The fried mozzarella was very good, and I would have expected nothing less given the hype about them. For the entree I got the baby back ribs, and I will say I was pretty disappointed. They're one of the things that the place is most famous for, and they were mediocre. Again, perfectly fine to eat, but just not as good as would be expected. We got some of the flavored iced teas that they sell, my first one tasted a little soapy, but I think that was just the dishwashing machine not doing a good job at rinsing off that particular glass. Every one that I got afterwards was completely fine. Again, though, I commend the waitress. She was absolutely fantastic, and always made sure we had everything we needed. If not for her, this review would be a three star, not four. read more

It's Chilis. You shouldn't expect too much, but it's not bad at all. No reason not to join the rewards program to get the free chips and salsa (which are quite tasty), and the rest of the food is just okay. The workers are usually very nice, and you do usually need to wait for a table but that's fine. For some reason (and I don't see anyone else talking about this), something seems to be wrong with the air quality / circulation in this restaurant. Of the several times we've been, at least one person in my party (including me) has felt sick or nauseous before even getting our food. I'm unsure of what else it could be, but like I said, nobody else has mentioned it so I don't know. Overall, it's just fine. read more

Contrary to the negative reviews, we very much enjoyed our time here. Proper cutlery and napkins were served before we ordered. Yes, it can be loud. People have kids. Although from the area I've lived in Washington state for several years and stopped in with my wife and a friend this evening and had a very positive experience. Although fairly busy, we were seated promptly and had very attentive service in the bar area. Other patrons were complaining of the same. The server said the mgr said was aware but did nothing about the situation. Given his lack of concern toward the customers, I'll not be returning, EVER ! We decided to try Chili's last night after doing some shopping. The wait was only 15 minutes. We were shown to our table then it went downhill from there. We overheard another server tell a customer that the AC hasn't worked for a couple of days. It was warm but not unbearable. After 15 minutes our server arrived . We placed our drink order which didn't take too long. I ordered a burger which came out barely warm and my wife ordered a salad which came with the wrong dressing. We had to ask for utensils and napkins. At no time did our server ever return to the table. I hope that management will get the bugs out, it will be a long time before we return. read more

We came to Scranton, Pennsylvania for a wedding of a family friend. We needed a place to eat so we decided to head to Chili's in honor of the Office. We had a large party of 9, and I must say our waiter, Amanda, was very pleasing. Our oldest person was 22 and our youngest was 12 and Amanda was extremely patient. She had great recommendations and handled a hectic party very efficiently. Waiters like these keep chains like Chili's alive and well. The food was great with good sized portions. We enjoyed our experience. The waitress was very helpful. Too much sauce on the mozzarella and very little chicken in the crisps. The scenery was very interesting to say the least. There was Spanish news that no one could understand. Put on more sports channels in English. The food was fairly good overall. They gave us more food than we asked for which made me too full. The water was too spicy. I also was briefly talking about the hit show Breaking Bad. I was talking about season 2 and they spoiled the ending. I didn't even watch that part yet. Their website advertises weekend all day happy hour at this location but, we were told that happy hour ends at 4:00 PM on Saturday. My family and I decided to visit the location for my mom's birthday. We heard it was "the office" themed but I just really can't see the hype because it was not worth the drive. They have the photo ops and that is all. It was like eating at any other fast food place. Our utensils were barely cleaned and it was oddly expensive for items that seemed small.
