Ordered online got the quesadilla, took me 5mins to un smoosh it and had to get back in line for my guacamole that was forgotten No napkins no fork just a balled up quesadilla. For $18 I expected better! Can you believe Taco Bell's quesadilla was better

    Empty

Sheesh I tried to give this location another try but yeah I'll drive to another chipotle to get better service and food with less aluminum inside the bowl.... The lady scooped such a small amount of guacamole and then asked me if I wanted more. Like ma'am yes please give me the scoop I should get, she added so much queso, the amount of carne asada I got were like 4 little pieces. Overall it was horrible and I found a piece of aluminum foil, luckily I didn't eat it and they refund me the money. But that little cashier in the back had a nasty attitude and she mumbled something while I was up there . And they didn't have any of the fresh drinks ! 10 out of 10 do not recommend

Chicken bowls with lots of beans, 7 pieces of chicken and a splash of cheese

2nd stop at Burlington Chipotle and 2nd time disappointed in the food service. Last time I'll shop here. Chips are stale, only 6/7 pieces of chicken per bowl, lots of fillers (I.e rice and beans), super small portions of cheese, and salsa (corn or red). It's shameful that there is no consistency in food prep for items on the same ticket. This is a national chain and they have quality standards. It's a shame this store doesn't follow them. I'll never order here again, but will by from the Cherry Hill shop on West art 70. They have their act together.

    Supposed to be a quesadilla.

Half star. Improve the service, extremely dirty and ghetto(not even in a bad area). Workers don't do their job, they don't know what's going on with orders. They need a new manager for sure, they don't even wipe the tables down I saw customers doing it themselves that's how bad it was. I have to reconstruct my quesadilla because they're melted together and upside down. They don't know how to portion either last time they were loaded with beef this time looks like they forgot to fill one...

    "Double steak" bowl

I ordered chipotle through the app, it was supposed to have double steak and extra cheese. When I opened the container this is what it looked like. I didn't eat a single bite and this is how they "filled" my bowl.

Burrito bowl with chicken, corn salsa, and brown rice, sour cream. Doesn't even fill the bowl entirely.

It's the dirtiest place. They put like no meat in the bowl. They're completely understaffed and the staff they do have aren't very helpful.

The restaurant is in this cute little area with shops, restaurants and bars and is a popular destination because when we were leaving out after finishing our meal the place was jam packed and there was at least an hour wait (but no wait when we came in thankfully). It's important to note that this is NOT authentic Mexican food ... but it was pretty good nonetheless. The margarita flight was cute and gave us the ability to try a few flavors out before committing to a large one. The favorites were the white peach and pineapple margaritas (the other 2 in the flight were the traditional and prickly pear). We ordered the Crab Mexican Street Corn for an appetizer and while it was loaded with crab, it wasn't Mexican Street Corn ... it was seasoned corn with old bay and a few other ingredients topped with crab. I ordered the Steak & Shrimp Combo Fajitas which was a nice portion size (I took 3/4 home) and the flavors were pretty darn tasty, but when you order fajitas you expect the "sizzle" and these didn't have that nor were they have the right temperature ... they were just warm when I wanted and expected them to be hot. The refried beans were yummy despite them not looking too appetizing but the rice was too soft. Service was good overall and pricing was also reasonable. If we're in the neighborhood again and in the mood for margaritas we may just stop back in.

The inside was clean and the bar area I sat at although small was a decent spot to have a drink and grub. The staff was mostly young kids who were very nice. The chips and salsa they offer were boring. The salsas both roja and verde lacked flavor, mostly spice. The chips were fresh, but thick and bland. I think a thinner homemade style would work better. The first bartender I dealt with was great with the menu. She recommended several menu items. I ended up rolling with the Shrimp and Crab Enchiladas at $18 - jumbo lump crab, old bay cream cheese, tiger shrimp, cilantro and lime rice. The lime rice was worthless. It had zero flavor and was dry. The Enchiladas were creamy, but lacked spice and complexity. The tiger shrimp had a delicious grilled, moist flavor and were the best part. My second trip had a newer bartender who was getting her feet wet. She was friendly, but busy familiarizing herself with the bar so I went simple and ordered Birria Tacos - $15 Braised beef, onions, cilantro, lime Oaxaca cheese, consommé. The beef was dry and not tender. The shells were ok. The best part was the lime Oaxaca cheese and the consommé somewhat helped me get the beef down. The portion was very small. Not a good value in my humble opinion. The other patrons were mostly young and enjoying margaritas. I think booze is the draw to this spot. Without it your just getting average Mexican grub. Heck of a location in the Borough, but my visits left me longing for a hot pepper!

Noemy herself was my server. Friendly, charming and proud of her business, she warmly engaged me in conversation as we toured the menu. I opted for her Fried Tacos, Strawberry Milkshake, Chips y Salsa. They were all terrific. It took a short while for my order to come from the Cocina, but as each arrived they were a sight to behold. First the Milkshake arrived, a beautiful bright pink in a large glass. Freshly blended, it was cool and strawberry delicious. Second, the Chips and Salsa were served in a plastic basket; crispy with brown spice bean sauce on top. I liked this far more than red or green salsa as it offered more rich earthy flavor. Finally, the Four fat Fried Tacos arrived on an oval ceramic plate with small side salad. They were stuffed with ground chicken, cheese and chiles and deep fried to a golden tan. Sure, they burnt my fingers as I picked them up to dip in salsa and chomp down, but it was a good burn that had me licking them for first aid. Just awesome! I sat for a while afterward as Noemy was busy in the kitchen, but we closed out my meal with a reasonable check and discount for cash. She invited me back, and I suspected I would accept her offer. 5 Salvadoran Stars for this most enjoyable experience.

The staff here is extremely nice and the service was quick. BYOB. The menu has many typical offerings (quesadillas, fajitas, tacos, burritos, sopes, tostadas, enchiladas, chimichangas, tamales), but also Tortas and Alambre (think fajita with cheese and bacon). They also have a wide variety of meat types - tinga, chorizo, al pastor, lengua, carnitas, barbacoa, asada, tilapia, shrimp, etc. The food had a more authentic touch here. The tacos I had ($3.25 a piece) barbacoa - tender delicious juicy beef, carnitas - tender shredded pork, lightly seasoned and al pastor - marinated pork with pineapple & onions, were all fresh, sizable and tasty. I upgraded them to supreme .52 cents extra - lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and sour cream. The horchata was fresh and a perfect mix of cinnamon, sugar, milk with a medium body. I really enjoyed it. $3.50 On another visit, I took the waitresses advice and ordered the quesabirrias - $14.95 three corn tortillas dipped in birria consommé, filled with cheese and beef birria. Served with a Mexican style consommé, topped with onions and cilantro. They were a little drippy, but I appreciated the tenderness and flavor of the beef. The consommé was flavorful and added some needed complexity. My only critique is a lack of spice and pepper. In my humble opinion some chilis, jalapeno and hot sauce options at the table would take things up a notch. If you're looking for a laid back Mexican dining experience in the borough, El Limon is your spot. Thanks guys!

Before we entered the restaurant we were "distracted" by the vibrant ice cream store in the same strip. We walked in and were overwhelmed with all the ice cream options. Speaking to the owner, he said his family owns the EL Primo Plaza. We were on a mission for food, but will definitely visit the ice cream store in the future (our plan was after dinner, but dinner was so delicious and so filling, there was no room for dessert this time...better planning next time!). The restaurant is in a Mexican convenience store, but this is not your typical Mexican convenience store. They had so many options for everything. And they have this great bakery in the back before the restaurant. Everything looked SO good! In the back is a full sit down restaurant. We were seated and it is nicely decorated and has a view into the kitchen to watch them make the food. Our server promptly greeted us with some chips and what I think was a mole sauce. They were very tasty. We decided on a watermelon drink and shared mixed fajitas. The watermelon drink was fresh watermelon and it was very refreshing. The mixed fajitas came out piping hot, full of steak chicken and good sized shrimp. Sometimes at other places you get the baby cocktail shrimp, but these were a good size and nicely grilled and seasoned. You get a nice amount of sides to make your fajitas. There was so much food that we asked for extra shells at no additional cost! We thought we put a dent in the food, but we had so much still to take home. Everything was so fresh and seasoned well. The meat was nice and tender. There was a good amount of peppers and onions but it wasn't overpowered as sometimes also we have gotten fajitas elsewhere when there is mostly veggies and very little meat. We were absolutely stuffed by the time we left. Very good. We have added it to the list of places to return.

Now for the food, I ordered the enchiladas , one with Verde sauce and the other with Molé. The food smelled wonderful as I opened the bag and it looked just as delicious. The tortillas were fresh and homemade and the flavor was on point. The verde sauce had a great flavor and had just enough kick to make me know there was some spice. It was covered in lettuce and cheese and specked with diced tomato. The chicken was moist and tasty. The Molé sauce was deep and rich and had excellent flavor. It came with beens and rice. The beans were light colored and not black beens and the rice was standard Mexican rice. Overall it was really good. I will be going back again. They accepted debit cards but also had an ATM in the corner. The only drawback is that they didn't have any menus to give me so I will have to search that up on the inter webs.
