Absolutely disgusting restaurant! Health dept needs to visit this location. I just watched the line worker take a dirty rag, bare handed and wipe up old food from the food covers into the rice serving container. I asked him why he would contaminate food with an old rag and old food and he just smiled and laughed. Warning eat at your own risk. read more

Food was great, lowkey one of the best Pancheros I have been to, all fresh ingredients. Cannot go wrong.

This place is fantastic for being a fast food Mexican place, My Husband is from Western Canada so he is very well-versed with Mexican food. He always used to talk about a place in Vancouver but since coming to the States, he raves about Pancheros, Because Pancheros blows the top off of this place and Pancheros is The bomb.com Plus, his brother-in-law is Mexican and they have cooked plenty of times together, But since we cannot go to Canada every Tuesday, so we try to go here at least a couple times a week for Taco Tuesday!! We Love This Place read more

Had to decide between Baja Fresh and Pancheros for a burrito for lunch, and I was not disappointed at all in going with Pancheros. Its very much in the same class of Chipotle, wherein they make the burrito in front of you, but the way they make the tortilla right in front of you out of a ball of dough was a cool little difference. The fresh tortilla makes the burrito a little more "gummy" than what youre used to, but everything else was pretty much up there with Baja Fresh and Chipotle taste wise. Pancheros gets extra points though because their guacamole and queso dip were FANTASTIC! Its not cheap, and everything is an "extra" expense (want tortilla chips? Extra. Salsa? Extra. Peppers on burrito? Extra.), but its not gonna break the bank or anything outrageous. 2 burritos, 2 small drinks, 1 order of tortilla chips and queso dip was about $20. The store was clean and quiet and the employees were nice, if a little dull. I have nothing bad to say about Pancheros and will definitely be making a repeat visit soon. read more

Worst guest service I've ever received. To long to waste time typing explanation. Manger on duty 8/9/2023 about 7:15 ish. Said his name was Louiś. The rudeness and disrespect shown towards guest was alarming. This gentleman needs training. Very sad! read more

This was the worst service I have ever experienced. When I walked into the store the worker groaned and looked up at the ceiling then went into the back. when he came out he was extremely rude tossing the lids to the containers around and complaining when we asked for what was under the lids. read more

Great quick place we stopped after a very long night with the kids at fun plex. Food was simple and extremely delicious. Meat was wonderfully seasoned, option of tofu available which was nice to see for my vegan friends. Hot sauce was actually hot, my taste buds are gone so I like it spicy! Well done panchero read more

I'm so torn... on one hand, five stars for the queso. On the other hand, one star for the lackluster burrito bowl. Chipotle wins on the burrito bowl, hands down. I ordered a carnitas bowl here and the pork was beyond salty, inedible. The lettuce had a chemical taste, like it wasn't rinsed before serving. I ended up throwing most of it out. On the other hand, the queso is AMAZING! I'd come back here just for the queso and blue corn tortilla chips... just the right amount of spice, ohmygod cheesy goodness. Moral of the story: Come here for the queso, skip the burrito bowl. read more

My favorite Mexican restaurant! I stop here sometimes twice every week! Love the chicken tacos and carnitas tacos. Their queso is delicious! I sometimes order quesadillas with carnitas and veggies for a change once in a while. The tortillas and salsa are very good. read more

Been coming to this Pancheros for years. Always friendly staff, nice to my kids, they understand our dairy-free/vegetarian requests, never any issues. Outside or inside seating. Tofu for the burritos! It can get very busy at lunch time. Notes for sensitive kids: it's typically pretty loud inside -- the music is always turned up. read more

Staff is miserable. I was scared to order because the staff looked like they were going to attack you if they had to make another order for another customer. I feel bad because it looks like they have staffing issues, but might as well just quit and find a better job that suits you! :/ read more

Decided to try this restaurant because there's a geocache just outside. That's how we get dining recommendations sometimes. The restaurant is in a strip mall with a couple of other stores but parking seemed more than adequate. The menu selection is limited and reminded me of Chipotle, which is not a good thing because what I really wanted for lunch wasn't on the menu, but I made do with a carnitas burrito. Service was good and the food seemed fresh enough. Plus, they have free wi-fi internet. 12/21/2011: Okay, I guess I have to clarify because someone messaged me to ask about the 3-star rating. The food was only about average, not good enough to merit above-average pricing. It's not something notable that I'd go out of my way for and it doesn't merit an above-average rating. I'd like to remind everyone that 3 stars means "A-OK". It's not a bad rating. Do not inflate star ratings or those will become meaningless for places that actually merit 4 and 5 stars. read more

I think the food itself is a 5/5. However, the portions are small, you def get more food at chipotle. But, the burritos are excellent, very tasty and I enjoyed eating it a lot. The tortilla is the best part as it is homemade and fresh. Overall, good quality and good taste good. It's also relatively cheap compared to other places like chipotle ($9/burrito). The only reason I give 3 stars instead of 5 is the staff, one of the guys was kinda rude (nothing too crazy but still noticeable) and the portion was a bit too small for the price. read more

The manager here is by far the most miserable person I have ever set eyes on. I understand there is a mask mandate but speak up I can't hear you sir. I ask for a water cup and the only thing you do is point at water bottles. You kill the energy of this whole establishment. I hope you decide to change careers into a cubicle position. You'd fit. I hate to be rude but this is months of built up hatred. I hope the owners of this establishment see this. Update: As I am getting into my car I see someone that's eating outside walk out with a water cup... this is ridiculous. read more

terrible customer service - workers are always rude and charge you $1.16 for a scoop of guacamole in your burrito and they put 1/4 of a scoop on it. Regularly ordered from here on mobile ordering (past tense) and regularly missed ingredients on my burrito. Last 2x my burrito was missing guac which costs extra. This time my burrito was missing hot tomatillo salsa and the guac. First 2x I'm chalking up to a mistake. The 3rd time it's a pattern. Don't order from here unless you can see your food being made. That way you won't get a tortilla filled w 2 cups of rice, 1 cup of beans and 1 piece of chicken. read more

My friends always talk about what food place is better Chipotle or Panch and I could never say my opinion, until now. Absolutely nothing special about the food here. Tastes like really mediocre burritos and tacos. Everything is way too salty. Every bite is like a spoonful of salt in my mouth and made me feel sick to my stomach. Couldn't even finish my meal. Don't waste your money and time. Please go to Chipotle instead. read more

I went in there a couple weeks back but forgot to make the review. I have been going to Pancheros for like 5 yrs now all throughout High School and have never had a problem. Pancheros is my favorite spot to eat and the coworkers there are so nice to me and some of the managers as well since I go there all the time. Unfortunately, this employee named Yonathan was very rude to me and made faces when I asked for more Queso. Even before that day he always has a stank bothered look on his face. Made me not even want to eat my food. Im a customer and a regular I should get what I want if Im paying for it. Yonathon was who ringed me up. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY HIM. Everyone else is so sweet! read more

This place is similar to what you would expect from other chains like Qdoba and Chipotle. This place wins by a large margin for two reasons: 1) fresh tortillas a pressed upon the time of ordering 2) they actually mix up the contents of your burrito before wrapping it - nothing is more annoying than eating through all your rice long before hitting veggies or meat or whatever else. All in all, I'd come here whenever I was in the mood for something fresh, fast and relatively cheap. Yum. read more

Pancheros is hands down the best Mexican build your own burrito/ Mexican food place around. Chipotle is good but not comparable. Let's go through the process of getting the best burrito of your life: First, the tortilla. Right before your eyes they transform a ball of dough into a perfect tortilla. The freshest tortilla you'll ever get in your entire life. Life changing, really. The fillings are all incredible. The rice, the beans, the veggies, all the meats, all the salsas, EVERYTHING but most importantly the QUESO. The queso is a gift from heaven. Smooth, creamy white cheese with the perfect amount of spicy heat with jalapeños and vegetables in it. Get it on the burrito and with chips on the side, you'll need both. I dream about this queso regularly. Next, the "Bob." A tiny red spatula that really makes their burritos the bet around. This spatula mixes the ingredients so that every single bite is a perfect combination of flavors. Say goodbye to the big mouthfuls of rice you don't want. Finally, they roll up the burrito and, since the tortilla is so freshly pressed and cooked, the burrito melds together into one perfect bundle that is guaranteed to hold all your ingredients in. Aside from the perfect burritos, the staff is incredible. Really you can't go wrong. Pancheros for life. read more

Decided to stop in for a snack despite a mediocre first visit. The service was much better and much friendlier this time around. We grabbed a burrito and chips and salsa to share. Pretty good overall. Still overpriced. The portion was ample to share and hold us over until dinner. read more

So within a 5 mile radius, the quasi-mexican fast food gods hath bequeathed the denizens of lower New Jersey with a Baja Fresh, Qdoba, Chipotle and a Pancheros. What's a boy to do? Why, eat from all of them, silly! With the proximity to my office in Moorestown, Pancheros is a nice stop for a quick carry out so I can drip carnitas juice on my keyboard. What sets Pancheros apart is the freshly made flour tortilla. A small ball of dough pressed in a tortilla press and grilled quickly makes all of the difference in the burrito wars. And so the freshly made wrap adds an extra bit of chewy toothsomeness that elevates the working class meal in a wrap to something a little more extraordinary. I usually get the lime rice, with black beans, corn salsa, pico and either the carnitas or veggies. Not that it's anything as sublime as the heavenly machacha burros or the chorizo and potatoes burros from Carolina's in Phoenix (http://www.yelp.com/biz/carolinas-mexican-food-phoenix), but for east coast, it's got some game. The carnitas is just a tad too salty and perhaps a little dry, but a dollop of the chunky guac covers a multitude of sins. The veggie burrito has always disappointed me. Veggies more interesting that the peppers and onions that they offer would make my day. So a thumbs up for the fresh tortilla that edges Pancheros ahead of the competition. read more

Great food. Always get the burrito with steak or chicken. You can add any toppings for no additional price, so pile it on. Sometimes you have to watch the preparer cause at times they skimp on the amount, but if you ask nicely they will add more of what you ask for. Large quantity for affordable pricing. read more

Panchero's has kinda grown on me. It's not as polished as Chipotle but for some reason I keep on going back every now and then. The unique thing about this place is that they prepare your tortilla shell right when you order it. They take a ball of dough, put it in this machine for 2-3 seconds that flattens it out making a "pussshhhaaaa" sound (approximate) before sliding it over to a grill where they let it warm up for a couple more seconds. Using this machine looks fun. I wish I could try it. Anyway, the shell ends up being kinda soft and sticky. It's a bit different than shells you might be used to. I like getting my burrito with the corn salsa and I think the mild sauce has a slightly sweet taste which is also a bit different. read more

I've been going here for months now, and at first, this food was great. Way better then chipotle in my opinion. Then service started to go down hill. Service is absolutely terrible, the workers seem completely miserable and hate their lives and want to make you hate yours too. They don't know enough English to get your order correct, I asked for corn and got lettuce after yelling corn multiple times. Don't know how corn even relatively sounds like lettuce. The portion size has shrunk by 90% when I first started going there the bowls were the same size as chipotle, now I eat my entire bowl in 2 chips full. Don't even get me started on the rude and arrogant cashiers they hire here, I ordered 2 bowls chips and a drink and the cashier somehow forgot my food and I needed to ask if I could get my food???!!! Stay far away from this place, I will not be returning. This place would be great if the portion sizes didn't resemble those of a 4 year old child who couldn't chew their own food and workers who actually enjoyed giving complimentary service, this place needs complete new management that actually speaks fluent english and doesn't treat you like you just spit in their face. No matter how kind you are to the workers they do not hesitate to make you feel uncomfortable and not want to order your food anymore. read more

I just went back after 5 years to eat here. When they first opened they were great. Now, not so much, Its definitely went downhill. The fresh tortilla is great. The meat looked dry. Things that Pancheros does better than Chipotle: 1. Mixes the contents of your burrito 2. Has queso on the menu 3. Fresh tortillas made right in front of you Things that Chipotle does better than Pancheros: Everything else. For a loyal burrito bowl orderer, there's just no reason for me to go to Pancheros again.
