Ordered a kids cheese and chicken quesadilla with a side of rice and beans. The cheese on quesadilla was unmelted and the cheese and meat fell out. The beans were unexpectedly spicy (didn't think we would have to specify non spicy beans). We have not had this kind of poor experience with kids quesadillas or beans at other chipotle locations. read more

I work for doordash and I've picked up at least a dozen orders here and not once has one of he orders been on time and I always get stuck waiting as they never seem to either have enough staff or be able to handle orders at that store. The staff also always have a blasé attitude and I wish Thai store would get better management or pay more for better help as right now I'm waiting for 15 mins and there are 8 other customers aiiitnbh around waiting. I hate to ever do this to a business but Chipotle lovers should steer clear. I am a local . This is our chipotle. We also work from home. We make all our orders online so they are written down in detail for them. Over the past year & most recently today they completely get our orders wrong to the point they are unrecognizable. These are orders spread out over a year or more. We tend to avoid Chipotle even though we love it. But better than 50% of the time portions barely take up 20% of the bowl or one or both the orders are wrong or both. Today in addition to an incorrect order my wife can't eat the food was ice cold. Look at all the other recent reviews unfortunately there is a pattern/problem here .if you take the time to complain they are kind enough to give you a credit but you can't eat a credit & when you are working you don't have time or money for another option. I would rather just have the lunch that I ordered than a gift card. It's a real shame. read more

Wow, the overall review on Yelp is 1.5 stars. That's about as low as I've seen for any place, especially an established business. It's a wonder they are still in business. I got delivery, and they forgot the queso on the chips and queso. Told the driver, showed him the order attached to the bag, and he said check inside the bag of chips, of course it wasn't there, nor did I expect it to be. His only answer was sorry. Tried reporting this online, but the link they direct you to is blocked by Edge, and I couldn't get it to unblock. Finally got through the 800 number and although I could barely understand the person on the phone, I was able to get a refund on the chips and queso. Would rather have received the queso, which is why I order it in the first place. In any case, at least I got free chips, but that's not the point. Pretty much par for the course, this place seems to routinely screw up based on all the other poor reviews. It's really simple, have the drivers check the order against what they pick up instead of just grab and go. So disappointed in this place, but I don't think they even care. My two stars are "generous" only because the food is okay, everything else is a train wreck. read more

Just another bad review here. First of all, whoever is in charge of chipotle in general, please give up the whole "online order only" thing. We get it, covid - however many places are operating just as they were previously. I don't know if anyone's noticed but it's creating ridiculously slow service and clearly unhappy customers. I placed an order at this location and my food still wasn't ready 30 mins later...for food that's already made - I asked for a refund (which I did not receive, for whatever reason) simply because I had to get back to work. The environment is fantastic! I was greeted by a smiling employee when I walked in. The food all looked fresh and delicious! I ordered a burrito with pinto beans, fajitas, chicken, queso blanco, fresh tomato salsa, corn salsa, guacamole, and fresh cut lettuce. The tortilla was warm and perfect! The beans and chicken had a great amount spice, flavor, and was super fresh. I watched them cook it and cut it before I was served. The line moved fast and the dining room is super clean. While i was eating, someone came out and asked how our food tasted and if we were enjoying our experience. This was a nice touch! I will be ordering delivery next time I don't want to go out. read more

I had such a comically horrific experience at the Chipotle on Dodge St. that although I was furious at what I was being put through, at some point I had to just sit back and laugh at the absurdity of the fact that a place could be run that poorly. Upon entering the Chipotle at approximately 7:15, we were absolutely screamed at by an employee, we'll call him Server 1, who screeched that we "had to order through the mobile app AND pay online." I was beyond taken aback at how rude this employee was, and I thought it was strange I had to order online, I didn't worry about too much because the restaurant was empty so I didn't think my wait would be long. My friend had ordered his food online at 6:45 and had been told it would be ready at the time well before the time we arrived at 7:15, yet it was not. Instead, we confusedily watched all 6 employees working there stand motionless and slack jawed for the next 15 minutes as if the entire restaurant was empty and somebody had hit their off switch. One guy was watching a TV show on his phone at a volume level so loud I could follow along with the plot. Then, a steady trickle of customers began to trickle in. I had already been waiting for 20 minutes, watching the staff do absolutely nothing, and so I was beyond confused when the staff didn't make anybody else order online and instead began to take their orders and make their food before mine, despite the fact I had been waiting for nearly a half hour. This is when I realized the app said my order wasn't ready until 7:50, which it made no sense why it would take 35 minutes to make one quesadilla in an empty restaurant as they sat and stared at the customer who ordered it. 7:50 rolls around, and surprise surprise, nobody has even started making my order. Only then is my friend's food ready, who ordered over an hour ago. I proceed to watch these 2 employee doofuses respond rudely and screw up the order of multiple other customers while the other four workers loudly play grabass in the back of the restaurant, and at one point Server 1 decides to mean mug me for over 30 seconds before I grow so uncomfortable I contemplate leaving, before finally, at 8:20, over an hour after I ordered my food, does Server 1 finally ask me if I'm waiting for a mobile order. I tell him that "Of course, I'm waiting for a mobile order, you wouldn't take my order and forced me to order online." He proceeds to say "Mannnnnnnn I only be telling you to do that shit for like whatever reason, I always thought like you'd just do that and then come order," which doesn't make any sense. I've ordered online, my food should be sent to the computer and made without me doing anything. He then calls over Server 2 to make it. Server 2 asks me what I ordered, and I proceed to tell him I have a complicated order and don't remember exactly. I ask him if he can just look it up in the computer, but he says he doesn't know how to use the computer because "that shit is tricky man." I finally try to remember my order, and tell him I got Chicken Al Pastor. He proceeds to ask me "what the hell is chicken al pastor," and I have to point to the literal 4 ft. poster of it hanging over his head. He says "I think we outta that shit man, I'll just put whatever" and throws in barbacoa. I try to order the toppings I had to gotten and already paid for in my quesadilla, but he looks me in the eyes and says "honestly man we like outta most of these ingredients and shit so imma just make this plain" and ignores my protests as he chucks in the toaster, despite there being multiple buckets of viable ingredients I might've wanted in my quesadilla. Over an hour after ordering, after being insulted and robbed of my toppings and just handed a soggy lukewarm tortilla of nothing but barbacoa, I am so angry all I can do is storm out of the restaurant, but the story somehow gets worse. Server 1, who had been doing God Knows What in the back of the kitchen, comes flying out front and proceeds to loudly yell at me, in a restaurant full of people, that "HELP HELP CALL CALL SECURITY CALL SECURITY THERE'S A ROBBER IN THE BACK." You would think after serving me literal garbage and making me wait for over an hour, you would think these employees would at least have the good sense to be somewhat apologetic, but they instead attempted to "prank" and embarass me. I would rather cook roadkill on the engine block of my Prius than ever consume another Chipotle product. read more

This is literally the worst Chipotle I've ever encountered. I placed my order 20 minutes in advance before arriving. When I got there the place was full of people also waiting for their well-overdue online orders. One of the staff told us we should just get in line because it would be quicker rather than offering to expedite my order. I waited over an hour for my food and eventually just had to leave. I ran into a friend while there and he said it is always this bad. He also had to leave without his food because it took too long. They looked like they were out of pretty much everything from what I could see and the guacamole was dirt brown. This store is disgusting. Filthy and unsanitary. Food all over all tables, soda station covered in refuse. Food prep area covered in spill over that had clearly been there for hours. Containers holding beans, rice, chicken, etc. , were caked with old dried ingredients. Had not been changed out looks like all day. If someone hasn't gotten seriously ill from the food, it's a miracle. 3rd time I've found it in this condition. Seems like standard practice. I hope you take action before someone gets Sick. Went there last night for dinner. Walking in I saw the floor looked like it had not been mopped in weeks. That was just the beginning. The hot food bins were mostly empty and the food in them looked old and hard. The counter was filthy, food spatter everywhere. After getting our food, we sat at a dirty table where I had a view of the kitchen. It was so disturbing. Food on the floor, trash that the workers were just walking over. I ate a bit of my food, hoping and praying I would not get food poisoning. Please, whoever manages this store do some deep cleaning before someone gets so ill they sue you. I have had great experiences at pretty much every Chipotle location, EXCEPT this one. It is bad enough that I won't normally use this location, but on occasion it is just easier to come here and put up with the frustration. Tonight was one of those nights. We are returning from vacation, and this is right on the way home, with another take out restaurant located right next door. My wife and one daughter walked into the "other" take out place, ordered, received their food, and have been sitting in the car for 30 minutes while myself and second daughter have been standing in line to order. No exaggeration! We were exhausted from traveling, and starving to boot, or we would have never stood in line for so long. We will no longer come to this location, period. read more

I am very disappointed in how the manger was treating her staff. To start off, I noticed many online orders scattered around the restaurant, many orders were sitting around waiting to be picked up. When The manager came over to the orders, she started complaining out loud about the waste of food her crew was creating. However, definitely not the staff's fault just the customers slacking to pick them up. Then she proceeding to yell at the staff in front of many customers. As i thought it could not have gotten any worse, she starts dropping F bombs and simply cursing out the crew. It got to the point where one of the staff members started apologizing and saying "she was trying her hardest". The manager replies and said "not you (specific name of employees)" After that argument she drags said employee into the back of the room yelling and swearing at him. This poor employee I felt so bad for him. Lastly, as she proceeds scuffing around telling them shes going home, she takes a handful of tips to be about 10-15 dollars and leaves. Many customers comforted the employees after that after shock. I have worked in fast food personally and never had a manager talk to me like that. Very degrading and made just a negative environment. I hope Chipotle realizes this incident and tried to inform future managers to treat their staff like human beings. read more

I would leave negative 1 million stars if that were an option. This Chipotle location, 55 Dodge Street, Beverly, MA, is literally the worst restaurant in the history of restaurants. They can't even be open when they say they are open. They just leave early at random times, and don't even update their website or voicemail to reflect that they're closed. The result is that you order online by filling out the order form, and they accept your credit card payment, knowing that they will not give you your order. So now you have to call corporate headquarters to get your payment refunded, which takes more than a week. It's almost as bad when they are open, as all the employees are incompetent, apathetic, and rude. Last week I arrived 10 minutes before closing, and they refused to take my order, even though they could have easily fulfilled it in less than three minutes. When I protested, the girl laughed and condescendingly said, "Dude, you're getting upset about Chipotle," and gave me the finger. I will never go to this place again. read more

My wife and I visited the Chipotle in Beverly MA tonight for dinner, we were both hoping to try the new chicken al Pastor we've seen so much of in commercials. We were told they were all out of the al Pastor chicken so we ordered a burrito bowl. The food prep table was not clean, food scraps of all kinds were next to each food item, even the glass partition in front of the food that separates the customers was dirty. The dirty condition continued right into the dinning area. First thing I noticed was there was not one clean table top in the room, every table top had food scraps or had food smears on it. The floor in the dinning area looked like it hadn't been swept all day, like customers had just brushed any food left on the table tops onto the floor. When I went over to the soft drink machine to fill my drink cup there was no ice left in the machine and the diet Coke came out as water. The counter was a also a mess. I informed the person at the counter and he told me they were out of ice and diet Coke. I should also point out the supply cabinet doors under the soda counter were both broken, hung in the open position, would not latch in the closed position. I haven't been in a restaurant this dirty and unkept in a long time! If the entire dinning area, food prep table and soda dispenser area the customer can see is this bad, you have to ask yourself, what does the kitchen area in the back look like? On a more positive note, the food we ordered did taste good. read more
